Walters Paradise

Hi, I hope you all enjoy this. I worked hard on it.

Chapter 1

Where ever Angela had ended up was dark. The walls were solid cold steel and she could skim her fingers along each wall it was so narrow. Only tiny beams of light lead her way around the boxed-in area. Angela wasn’t entirely sure where she was going or where it would lead.

Angela remembered passing out after a few minutes at the top of the stairs; the smoke had finally made her pass out. It was unclear why she was in this strange place, and it made even less sense how she’d gotten there. It seemed there was very dull light ahead of her, and all she had to do was round the corner.

Pushing out of narrow doorway she began to fall. “Ahh!” She cried before her body fell flat against the dirty surface below her.

Lifting herself up, she saw the indescribable horror before her; she had fallen into a pit of humans who were being devoured by monsters. Angela got to her feet and panted madly; was she in Hell?

Hell hounds began to sniff at the air as they caught her scent. Angela’s breath caught in her throat as she watched one begin to walk in her direction. The yellow stained teeth were revealed to her behind the meaty saliva covering it. There was no other option but to run; Angela bolted across the pit hoping she could get herself as far away from the vicious beast before it was too late.

It seemed none of the other monsters were intent on capturing her; the one on her tail seemed to be still pursuing after her. Angela panted hard as she ran; why was there no way out? Angela wasn’t entirely sure how long she could keep running. Before long, Angela still hadn’t lost the hound and she was getting very tired of the constant running.

To her dismay her foot landed half on solid ground and half inside of a steep ditch sending her off her feet and face down in the dirt floor. The loud breathing of the hound was the only thing that snapped her back to reality. Turning quickly onto her back Angela looked back at the drooling beast.

Her breath stopped and the cries of horror and torment faded away as Angela could only hear her heart beating quickly. In a single moment, the beast lowered its body before hurling itself into the air; her heart skipped a beat as she watched it fall on top of her.

Drool covered teeth chomped down on her tender flesh; Angela screamed in agony as it began to tear into her abdomen. It grew hard to breath as the blinding pain refused to die down no matter how close to passing out she felt. Tears filled her eyes as the beast slowed down its pace so it could eat her insides slowly.

Angela let her head fall back to look at the ceiling; hanging corpses in nearly dozens of pieces screamed as they felt similar pain. Was this her fate? Was she to spend eternity here being devoured by this dog? Time seemed to be slowing; when would the pain stop?

Closing her eyes she felt the dog get off her; a tingling feeling caused her pain to end slowly. Opening her eyes she looked down to see her body regenerate itself. Getting to her feet she looked around; just like before the beast was staring at her from afar. She had no choice but to run.

Walter looked over the pit of Hell with a serene smile plastered across his face. All those fallen souls; so many to choose from. Walter was given the chance to rest in peace the way he saw fit; as an extra reward he was allowed to keep five souls as personal pets.

Turning around to look at the masked judge in the pyramid mask he looked pleased. “Anyone I choose?” Walter was very intent on knowing the full details of his rights.

The masked creature nodded as it gripped onto its spear. A knock on the door caught Walters attention along with the judge. “Proceed.” The booming deep voice of the judge said as the double doors embedded into the side of the stone cliff opened to reveal a fellow fallen cultist. “Margaret Holloway, You owe us a soul for the pit as punishment for the broken promise.” The voice boomed as she entered.

The look on her face was desperate as she looked over the cliff nearest to Walter. “Please, I killed my own daughter! I served my part in the Order!” Margaret made a praying motion with her hands as she spoke.

“If you wish to make a trade you may, but it must be acceptable.” The judge said to Holloway.

Walter watched as two more people piled into the room looked more confused than Margaret. The man with the ice blue eyes glared at Margaret Holloway as the blonde girl behind him seemed to look equally angry. “How could you kill Nora!?” Elle shouted as she walked up to her mother.

Walter watched amused as he knew exactly why all three of them were here. Margaret looked from her daughter to the judge. “Let God have my first daughter as payment.” Elle looked shocked and confused.

“You do realize your daughters spirit belongs in paradise, do you not?” The judge asked calmly.

Judge Holloway nodded, “Indefinately.”

“It’s done.” The pyramid man waved an arm and Margaret left with a smile on her face.

Walter watched rather intrigued, “No! you can’t take her!” Alex held onto Elle’s slender arm as he stared in horror.

“The deal is done Alex Shepherd, Elle Holloway’s soul belongs with the others inside of the pit. There is nothing you can do.” The pyramid judge stated firmly.

“Not without me she isn’t.” Alex looked determined.

“You do realize you are already damned due to being the cause of God’s broken promise. Correct?” The judge filled Alex in.

Alex closed his eyes and nodded, “Yes, I know.”

Walter took a step forward. “If I may, I would like to keep the Holloway girl and the Shepherd boy as pets.” Elle and Alex whipped around in shock.

“Pets? I don’t know who the fuck you think you are but we aren’t anybodies pets!” Alex glared at Walter.

“Well in that case perhaps you would rather live in the pit being torn up repeatedly for all eternity.” When Walter spoke there was very little emotion.

Elle looked over the edge of the cliff at the billions of souls being ripped to shreads by the various demon creatures below. “Alex… I can’t go down there.” She shook her head as she buried her face in his shoulder.

Alex looked over her shoulder at all the tortured souls. Though it was degrading, perhaps being a pet would be better than the pain of inside the pit. Looking back at Walter Alex sighed, “What would we have to do as your pets?” Alex asked the disturbing individual.

Walter stared at Alex for a moment, “You would live in my quarters, and you would serve me as a form of rent.” Walter stated.

Alex thought about this; he would be able to protect Elle as well as avoid the pit. To Alex it seemed as if he just wanted a few servants for the upkeep, perhaps they would prepare a few meals for the man; overall it sounded better than any of their other options at hand. “Alright then, we’ll accept your offer.” Alex nodded.

Elle didn’t speak; it was clearly the best decision. “Stay here, I’ll be back for you two later. For now, I have to find the rest of my new family.” Walter stepped off the cliff and headed down inside of the massive pit.

Harry held the steel pipe in his uninjured arm. I was unclear how many days, months or years he had been inside the pit, but it was starting to get to him. The beasts that came for him never seemed to get tired. He had managed to only get ripped apart fifty times, but over time he was beginning to feel the need to give up and just let them kill him over and over.

Panting hard he stuck the pipe into the ground; he couldn’t do anything with his broken arm and sweating flesh. Harry had to start over again, “That’s it! Come and get me!” Harry yelled as a large boar-like animal came forward to attack.

Harry closed his eyes and fell to his knees. He could hear the cloved feet coming closer to him before the silence took hold. When no attack came Harry looked up at the man in the long coat above him. “Harry Mason, the man who destroyed Samael. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Walter said calmly.

Harry stared up at him, “Who are you?” Harry asked confused.

“I’m Walter Sullivan. I have an offer for you.” Walter walked around Harry and smiled as he pretended to take great interest in the scenery around them.

Harry got off his knees and realized his arm was no longer broken. “What is it?” Harry asked sounding skeptical.

“I was hoping to give you a choice between staying in this pit for the rest of your life, or…” Walter walked in front of Harry and faced him, “I own your soul and you can live with me and the other two pets.”

Harry stared for a moment wondering if this was just a trick and he would really be staying right where he was. “You’re other two pets? What would they be? Dogs? Maybe some obese monsters?” Harry didn’t believe this man at all.

Walter held up a finger and shook his head, “No, they’re humans just like you and I. All I ask is that you come and serve me. You’ll receive a resting place, some comfort and perhaps maybe some friends.” Walter sounded far too Disney-like for Harry.

Walter was surprised when Harry let out a deep laugh, “Sure, why not. Let’s go to your Adam’s Family mansion and have ourselves some coffee.” Harry needed a good laugh, but this was ridiculous.

Walter smiled, “You accept?”

“Yeah, and while you’re at it make sure I’ve got a lifetime supply of players cigarettes.” Harry nodded.

Walter nodded, “Follow me.” Harry followed beginning to wonder if he had actually made a deal or if he was just being toyed with again. Regardless, the worse possibility is where he already was. Why not take the chance?

Once Harry was placed with Alex and Elle Walter felt it was time to search for two more, perhaps he would take in a few girls? Surely he didn’t want an uneven amount in the house. Looking up at the caves above the pit Walter realized some of the damned hadn’t fallen yet; he had an idea.

The caves were very dark and very cold. In some way Walter liked it that way, yet another part of him craved the warmth. As he wandered through several caves he only came across a few of the damned, but he didn’t find many women that were at all intriguing.

On the final cave he tried he came across a somewhat interesting sight. The young blonde nurse held her knees to her chest as she rocked back and forth humming childhood songs her mother used to sing to her when she was scared. Walter stared for a few moments as he thought about taking her with him.

“Hello.” Walter said startling her slightly.

Looking up the nurse appeared petrified, “Have you seen it out there? People in the pit are being ripped apart.” Walter was surprised by this reaction, “You aren’t real are you?”

“I am. My name is Walter. Walter Sullivan.” He replied looking down at her.

“What are you doing here?” She asked him concerned, “How did you even get here?”

Glancing at her name tag he realized who she was. Lisa Garland, the one who tried to help bring forth the holy mother. She was sent to Hell due to her gluttony for drugs. What an interesting specimen indeed. “I’m not one of the damned, I’m here to collect.” Lisa backed up tighter into the corner she was already scrunched into.

“Collect? Collect me?!” Lisa couldn’t stop shaking.

“You’ve been down here a long time, Lisa. Surely you’d like to go somewhere more bearable?” Walter asked her as he took a step closer.

Lisa looked up at him, “A better place? Are you some sort of angel here to save me?” Lisa looked hopeful.

Walter smiled serenely at her, “No, but I could take you away from this place, and all you would have to do is serve me.”

“Serve you how?” Lisa asked confused.

Walter held out a hand to her, “Nothing you aren’t already used to.” It was unclear what he meant, but she was ready to go.

“Yes, I’ll serve you.” Lisa took his hand and he helped her stand up.

Lisa squinted but she couldn’t see him as well as he could see her. She began to get nervous as he lead her to the opening of her cave. “No! Not down there!” She cried out as he pulled her down with him.

As they landed she realized what he looked like; his long blonde hair was rather greasy and his stubble was visible, but his height and voice seemed to give her an odd view of him. Walter headed back towards the other side of the pit with Lisa clinging to him for dear life.

As they walked something small and terrified ran directly into Walter causing him to strife to stay standing. Looking down, he realized it was a dark haired girl; he took a good look at her realizing she held an interesting air about her. “Please! You’ve got to help me!” She clung onto Lisa rather than Walter.

“Help you? I don’t even know you.” Lisa asked as the brunet didn’t let go.

“My name is Angela!” She seemed out of breath in the sense she had been running for hours. “That dog! It’s trying to rip me apart!” She shrieked.

Lisa looked at Walter, “We can’t just leave her here.” Lisa looked up at Walter hopefully; no one looked at him with hope, only sorrow.

Walter nodded, “Grab onto her or she’ll get separated.” Walter instructed as he held onto Lisa’s arm.

Once Walter transported them to the top of the cliff he saw his other three servants sitting around awkwardly. He looked them all over with a look of pride; raising his hand he formed a hole in the wall before them. “Climb through that hole.” Walter told them.

One by one, the chosen five climbed through the hole followed by Walter who closed it behind them once they arrived. He watched their eyes as they marveled at their new residence.

The place appeared to be some sort of giant house or small mansion. It was unclear what all was inside the house, but it seemed like it could hold at least fifteen more people.

Alex looked around cautiously, “What is this place?”

Elle clung onto his arm, “I’m not sure, but this can’t be a real place on Earth.” Elle noted the fact that there was no front door.

“Welcome to my afterlife residence. You all are very lucky to be here.” Walters pride was very evident.

“Why is that?” Harry asked as he leaned against a pillar in the main entrance.

“We’re all going to be playing a game I’ve set up. It should help us get to know one another better. It might even help some of us solve some of our problems.” Walter reached into his coat pocket and pulled out three metal dice.

“Our first game starts in five minutes. Let’s see who the players and the game will be. Walter tossed the dice on the floor before their feet.

Walter watched as they all leaned forward to see what they said, “Alex, sex, Harry.” Elle read off looking confused.

“What?” Alex looked horrified.

“Alex, looks like you get the pleasure of giving Harry his first anal experience.” The two men exchanged disturbed looks, “I expect to see you all in my living room in three minutes.” Walter headed past them and walked through the double doors under the stairs.
