Burning…
Hot…
So many flames…
His chest was on fire…
So much smoke…
He had to escape…
Falling…
He was falling…
There was no escape…

Prologue: Dreams
Takuya woke with a gasp, sweat making his pajama bottoms hold onto his skin. His chest gleamed in the room’s bedside lights light; he ran a slim hand through his shaggy chestnut shaded hair.
"Damn it, not that stupid friggin' dream again," Takuya sighed a bit angrily, after all he’d been having this dream for years.
He turned to look at the clock; the red numbers told him it was about three am.
Way too early, and after having the dream he could never get back to sleep.
Grumbling, he climbed out of bed and decided it was too early for a shower, and might as well kill time while he still could.
Didn’t he have a big project due later this week?
He pulled out his books and started at it, his mind trying to think of anything but the dream… or should he say dreams.
He really had to figure out who that red-head with the pyro tendencies was.
