“That brat will pay with his life, just like his mother,” hissed a lone figure cloaked in shadow at his desk. Outside the tinted green windows of his Asgard Base, searchlights probed the grounds while Desian guards marched guards marched about. If any more precious human hosts escaped, the Angelus project could fail as it had when test subject A-012 Anna Irving escaped. She stole with her the last hopes of successfully producing a Cruxis Crystal, so Kvar might ascend as one of the four Grand Seraphim. Only one out of every thousand hosts met the right conditions to grow such a crystal, A-0012 a rare and valuable specimen.
Since her escape and mating with an unknown human male, the Desians repeated the Angelus experiment on countless subjects, human hosts with lives lost, only to gain defective Ex-spheres that crumbled as the one just had in Kvar’s twitching palm.
“Hundreds, thousands of times we did the experiment over the past 14 years, yet none of them are stable. Thanks to A-012 and her son who possesses our one stable crystal, the Angelus project has been stalled,” Kvar sighed, his menacing red eyes narrowing. “What a troublesome stone. I’ll make sure A-012’s offspring suffers like her before he dies.”
His chiseled features twisted to an evil smile, gleeful at the image of Lloyd in pain crying out for mercy. Red light from the intruder alert alarm resounding reflected off his pale spiteful face, a pallid ghastly white from his days spent indoors supervising the heinous Angelus project on living humans.
“Intruders!” hollered Desian soldiers, working the bio-factory lines outside Kvar’s office.
Deafening sirens blared as soldiers grabbed their weapons, leaving giant glass tubes filled with green liquid encasing helpless human hosts inside, destined to die a slow painful death in deep sleep as the Ex-sphere’s harvested on them ebbed away at their life. Even if they escaped, they’d be cursed turning into monsters by removing Ex-sphere’s lacking key crests.
“How convenient,” remarked Kvar sarcastically, eying the security monitor above his desk casually. “A00012’s offspring has come.”
“There’s too many!” Lloyd shouted on the grounds outside, still trapped behind the base’s fenced perimeter. “I’ll distract them, help the villagers escape!”
“An unwise decision,” warned Kratos coolly, flanked back to back with Lloyd, encircled by Desians closing in.
A fire seal thrown in exploded, fracturing their tightly knit circle. A black haired female assassin, gold eyes gleaming in the dark, she smiled. “I owe the people of Luin much for the food and shelter they gave me,” thanked Sheena. “I’ll help you save them.”
“Alright,” added Raine, raising her staff to protect the Chosen. “Colette, Genis and I will act as decoys to draw the Desians’ attention. Lloyd, go with Kratos and Sheena to help them!”
The Chosen and two silver haired elves formed one group running towards the gate in front to draw out the impending Desians, while the other ducked behind some wooden crates, waiting for searchlights to pass over, before sneaking off under cover of dark. Kratos skillfully entered the password on a control pad, the door lifting open and adventures slipping in just before another round of Desian soldiers patrolled passing by.
That damn Kvar, burning Luin and kidnapping its people, just like Iselia, I won’t forgive him, Lloyd thought, his jaw clenched and body tight. His brows furrowed, eyes burned with rage. I’ll kick his ass myself.
Driven by the pain of remembering Iselia’s destruction, deaths of countless villagers for which he blamed himself, and his banishment, Lloyd stalked off on his own down narrow darkened corridors, lit only by faint green floor lights, an uncanny color that matched the liquid in glass tubes with human hosts. Besides his footsteps and beating heart, only air hissing out of vents in the base’s circulation system made any discernable sound. Lloyd spied an eerie green glow, brighter than the floor lights at the end of the corridor he traversed. It grew larger as he neared, enveloping him in a frightening aura of fear. The blue Ex-sphere gem mounted in his right hand tingled in response.
Swallowing, his lips tightened and eyes widened, he instinctively crossed his arms at his waist, unsheathing his twin blades, poised to slice anything that dare attacked. “What the hell!?” he gasped, nearly dropping his swords in shock, he entered the chamber where that monstrous glow emanated.
Bubbles formed inside row after row of glass tubes from the floor to ceiling, floating to the top and foaming, a toxic fizzle given off. Hundreds of human beings, their faces twisted in pain, bodies barely clothed were suspended in liquid stasis. Lloyd watched paralyzed, horror sown across his face as something writhed under the skin of one person, their countenance contorted when flesh broke, an Ex-sphere popping out of the neck, still attached with roots fed in like a parasitic plant.
“My god!” he cried aghast, falling on his knees.
“A living bio-factory to create Ex-spheres, charming, is it not?” purred a pleasant, yet malicious voice laced with hate and icy. “Insects that breed, providing more insects are, indeed, a plentiful supply.”
“Their people, you bastard,” growled Lloyd, charging at the unknown figure ahead.
“My, my, how such inferior beings protest,” sighed the creature, draped in shadow snapping his fingers. Three mechanical orbs capable of emitting lightning buzzed angrily about him. His lips curled to a wicked smile, green light illuminating his ghastly skin brightened, as he stepped into the light passing a row of glass tubes from a slightly elevated platform above.
Kvar had cleverly tracked Lloyd’s movements through the base’s security system, knowing exactly where his route would lead him before he arrived. Tapping his staff against the ground, the half eleven cardinal grinned sadistically, envisioning Lloyd’s torture. The endless nights he tested Ex-sphere after Ex-sphere only to have them crumble in his palm led to a wellspring of bottled frustration over 14 years vented fully at Lloyd.
“Is there where my Ex-sphere came from!? Is this what they did to you, Mom?” the brown haired boy cried out, tears streaming down his face, gazing into the sapphire gem on the back of his hand.
//He is rather lovely. I’d hate to mar such beauty// noted Kvar, straightening his blue form-fitting uniform, again sighing, almost regretfully.
His lustful gaze burned a trail from the top of Lloyd’s head, around the contours of his body, mentally undressing the teen, imagining the feel of his muscular body explored slowly. His malevolent grin stretching wider at the thought, he revealed a row of perfect white teeth, saying, “So you are the offspring of subject A-012, human name Anna.”
“You killed my mom, didn’t you?” cried Lloyd, swinging madly.
“No, I’m afraid your father did,” replied the half eleven cardinal irately, snapping his fingers. A bolt of lightning shot out from the orbs looming around Kvar burning off the row of buttons fastened down Lloyd’s shirt. A thrill raced through the cardinal, watching as the teen’s shirt peeled off revealing his lightly muscled chest.
“What?” he gasped glancing down. //If you wanna play like that, I can do just that// Lloyd smirked swiping his blade across Kvar’s uniform.
Fabric sliced from his shoulder to his stomach slid off leaving him bare from the waist up. His well-defined pectorals and rippled stomach surprised Lloyd, along with his powerfully sculpted arms and somewhat handsome features.
/Not attractive as Kratos, though decent/, Lloyd surveyed him, feeling the constraints of his pants begin to grow tight. His mounting arousal made concentration difficult, attention drawn to the fire coiling in the lower regions of his body.
Pushing him against the wall, Kvar’s prying hand slid down his throat, tracing his round jaw line. Titling Lloyd’s chin up, the half elf leaned forward claiming his lips. Moaning wantonly, Lloyd’s hips bucked, his throbbing flesh hitting Kvar’s. Every nerve in his body firing, the half elf groaned pushing his hips against Lloyd’s.
“Gods!” The pressure of Kvar’s straining erection to Lloyd’s took over his brain so every cell cried out for relief.
“You’re…beautiful, human,” Kvar uttered, cupping the teen’s flushed cheeks between his white hands.
Chocolate eyes widening, Lloyd’s studied his reflection in Kvar’s red irises. “I never thought I’d hear a Desian say that.”
“I am half human,” sighed the cardinal, his fingers wandering down the smooth bridge of Lloyd’s nose, around his lower lip.
Shivering, Lloyd’s hands roamed down Kvar’s taut stomach, soaking in its smooth texture and alabaster white surface. Just as the half elf might explode, Lloyd thrust his hand down his pants grabbing his hardened length. He joined his middle finger to his thumb running it along the underside of his arousal to its base, massaging gently. The head of his column poked out modestly beneath his foreskin, his fleshly sac reddened from blood swelling, he thrust instinctively into Lloyd’s skillful hand.
Studying the blade of hot flesh pressed to Kvar’s belly, Lloyd’s fingers traveled back up its underside, squeezing as they rose. Gaze darting up, his eyes locked with Kvar’s, searching. “Why do you despise half the blood in your veins?”
“Because…you humans hurt us first,” the Desian cardinal stammered, feeling some hate within begin to melt away.
“But am I, a human, hurting you?” Dropping to his knees, Lloyd took the tip of Kvar’s erection in his mouth, teasing. “My friend Genis is a half elf too. Whenever I do this he says ‘Lloyd, you really care, don’t you?’
“S-silence!” moaned Kvar, at a loss of words. He’d always thought of humans as mere insects useful for harvesting Ex-sphere’s. This particular one explored and questioned him in ways he never imagined. He couldn’t deny the human in him yearned for physical love.
Before he could fully answer, the cavern of Lloyd’s wet mouth engulfed the head of Kvar’s arousal, his tongue advancing around like a conquering horde, laying waste to anything in its path. His fingers twisted in the wiry nest of hair Kvar’s hilt sprang, maneuvering beneath to fondle his swollen scrotum.
“I’m doing this because…I want you to learn not all humans are what you think they are, or the hate between humans and half elves continues,” he whispered, releasing Kvar’s erection between his trembling lips.
“Damn you!” cried Kvar, his hands tangled in Lloyd’s thick brown hair, his own hips bucking, body loosing control. Crystal clear liquid beaded at the tip of his arousal, telling him what would soon come. Back arched, he threw his head back, shutting his eyes, unleashing a wordless cry from his throat. Lloyd pulled away moments before, watching Kvar spill into his own hand, waves of pleasure cresting and crashing through him, with warm sticky essence coating his palm. “I won’t forgive you, human.”
“I’m not doing this to hurt you. I want to end the hate between our kinds,” Lloyd said calmly, neither perturbed nor startled. He felt pity for the Desian cardinal, seeing how Genis might be of Lloyd never showed his best friend his love.
Kvar despised the teen’s idealism of a harmonious world, how he used sex to soften the amity between half elves and humans. “I’ll show you the truth, insect, I swear,” hissed the Desian, rubbing his essence down at the end of his staff, positioned above Lloyd.
Lloyd gazed up steadily, his autumn-dark eyes, red and gold glinting in their depths showering the pitiful creature in love. Even as Kvar ripped off the younger man’s black pants, something within him changed. His inner core wouldn’t let his conscious attack the teen in pure unrestrained violence, years of hatred welling free. He sat before the paralyzed half elf completely bare except for the sapphire gem mounted on the back of his left hand.
Positioning Lloyd on his side, he pulled one of his legs up, pressed to his chest to allow himself easier access. He pumped Lloyd’s erection, his rhythm stately and measured. He felt the hot pulse pounding beneath the velvety soft skin retracted far enough to reveal its modest head peeking out. His engorged length, perfect enough to be cast in stainless steel rose gracefully from between his inner thighs, fully hardened at last touching his heaving stomach. Bringing Lloyd to the edge and backing off, Kvar cradled his blood filled scrotum, wandering behind to his entrance.
The half elf’s tongue went to work on the tightly muscled ring between the teen’s rear cheeks, relaxing and preparing him. Lloyd’s back arched and he let out a deep moan as one finger of Kvar’s pressed into him, entered him. Rewarded by a wordless cry of pleasure, Kvar slipped in a second finger gently stretching. The need to have this man inside him crawled up his spine, filled every facet of his being still sensible. Instead of Kvar’s fleshly blade penetrating deep, something long thin and solid sliding inside in place, the Desian cardinal’s staff coated in his seed as lubricant.
Thrusting it in and out slowly, Kvar changed the angle hitting Lloyd’s prostate directly. Nerves set afire, blood racing, perspiration dripping, he felt sheets of lightning shoot up spine, his entire universe frozen in slow motion like a super nova exploding. If the birth of the universe might be experienced, Lloyd lived it now, with the tip of Kvar’s length barely brushing his opening, Lloyd’s leg pushed higher to give deeper access. With the staff pulled completely out, Kvar’s acing erection pressed in slowly so Lloyd might adjust.
Joined to Lloyd by this bridge of tender flesh, Kvar buried himself to the hilt in Lloyd, pleasure and pain writhing through him. Their worlds became one at the single point of conscious. Falling over the teen, Kvar squeezed downed in the depths of his autumn-dark eyes, finding his own inner humanity for the first time in life. He began to understand Lloyd’s words, that although his idealism might never exist, he wished it were true.
Contemplating his place between two worlds vying for mana, Kvar immersed himself in the boy Martel sent for his salvation. The feel of the half elf pushing in oh so slowly set off a cascade of orgasmic explosions, each thrust an endless lifetime repeated over, consuming both in sweet cosmic sensation. Their cries filled the air likes melodies, each one’s pulse pounded in response together, they sped up note by note, beat by beat, their bodies hitting resounding like thunder rolling out.
Exploding together, Kvar spilled hot gushing of fluid inside Lloyd, hitting his prostate a final time, both sent over the edge. Sweating, exhausted, Kvar pulled out collapsing. He pulled Lloyd close feeling affection for a human the very first time. He ran his hands over the younger man’s delicate skin to the sapphire Ex-sphere faceted to his body, remembering the Angelus project, the perfect crystal from this human’s mother, subject A-012.
How many humans had Kvar killed and harvested in search of his sought after Ex-sphere? A stone cannot float in a pond because of the weight of its evil. Even if he discovered his long dormant humanity, Kvar forget all about the suffering he inflicted on numerous humans. If all their pain might gather into a single person, the harbinger of his karma, it was Kratos.
Lost in the after haze of orgasm, Lloyd spotted a darkly dressed man entering the chamber. His spiky auburn hair ruffled in the dark hid his solemn features. Silently, he unsheathed his sword, outlined in an eerie green glow from liquid in glass tubes encasing human hosts.
“K…Kratos?” murmured Lloyd, coming to his senses. “I can explain.”
“Get dressed,” the mercenary replied simply, throwing a traveler’s cloak on his son. “I am sure you heard your father killed your mother.” Grief rang out in his rich base voice. A rare express of sadness sown across his face broke Lloyd’s heart. “It was because Kvar here pursued them.”
“W-what!?” All after traces of pleasure left Lloyd’s mind. “How could I feel compassion? How could I feel anything for him at all!?”
“You pathetic inferior being!” laughed Kvar, forgetting the remnants of love he experienced. “I couldn’t believe I actually felt affection for you, offspring of subject A-012.”
“You bastard! Her name was Anna,” hissed Kratos, filled with a vehemence so great Lloyd trembled, chilled to the marrow of his bones.
“D…Dad!?” he cried, struck with the sudden realization.
“Feel the pain of inferior beings…” Kratos charged swiftly at Kvar striking. “As you burn in the depths of hell!”
It sinks because a stone cannot float in a pond from of the weight of its own evil.
