The Book

Our Blessing

Summary: Living in a religious society Riku and Sora are forced to keep their relationship under wraps, but while fooling around with an old spell book their secret is ripped wide open.

Warnings: This story includes mpreg, which is a man getting pregnant and having a child. If that's not your thing, don't read this fanfiction. It also contains smut and bad language.

Starry's Corner: This story is based off of an rp I did with a very dear friend, she is the Riku to my Sora. Credit must go to her for a lot of things, don't remember every thing she came up with, but I'm sure she came up with more than I did.

Chapter One: The Book

Rocking slowly and haphazardly on the back legs of his chair, Riku boredly flipped through a random magazine as he waited for Sora to arrive. The brunet had made it extremely clear this morning when Riku was driving him to school, that the silver haired teen was to meet him at the public library at precisely three o’clock.

But, now it was nearing three thirty and there was no sigh of the little brunet. And, that within itself was slightly unnerving to Riku. So much so that the silveret was having a mental battle with his conscience over whether or not he should go look for the little runt. But, knowing his rotten luck, the minute he left…Sora would show up, then bitch him out for not being there on time. Which in actuality he was there before Sora.

It was then, just as Riku was rising from his chair, having lost the inner battle to his conscience that he decided (out of the goodness of his heart) to go and make sure that the brunet hadn’t gotten lost…or kidnapped…or side tracked by ice cream, that Sora decided to come bouncing up.

The silveret sighed, taking his seat once more as he took in the brunet’s wind swept appearance with a cocked eyebrow, “You’re late.” He said pointedly.

Sora gave the boy a smile, a breath taking smile that caused Riku’s breath to get caught in his throat, “I know, I’m sorry.” He said, sliding his bag off of his shoulder as he sat down, “I got held up at home.”

Riku nodded slowly, leaning back on the back two legs of the chair again as he crossed his arms over his chest, “Now, what was so important that I just had to meet you here?” He asked, giving the brunet a mock annoyed glare.

Sora gave the teen a pout, reaching over to pull the chair back on all fours, “You’re going to fall!” He said before he opened his shoulder bag, fishing around in it for a moment, “I got you something.” He said, a grin on his face as he pulled out a huge leather bound book.

The aquamarine eyed teen eyed the brunet for a moment, the leaned in closer to expect this…book, “If it’s one of your Dad’s Playboys stashed away in a bible, I’m not interested.” He replied, glancing up at the younger boy, a smirk on his face, “Really, Sora, you should know that by now.”

Sora rolled his eyes in response, “I think you’ve proved that to me enough over the years.” He remarked dryly, pushing the book across the table and in front of Riku, “Just look at it, okay?”

Holding back a chuckle at his lover’s antics, because Sora was just too cute for his own good at times, this being once of them. Riku stuck out his lower lip in a mock pout and sniffled as he grabbed the brunet’s arm, pulling him closer, “You’re so mean to me! Maybe I don’t want to look at your stupid book now!”

Sora groaned softly, looking as though he were readying to bash his head against the table, “It’s a book about witchcraft.” He said, giving the silver haired teen a stern glare.

Riku immediately perked up, letting Sora go, as he leaned over the book. Showing his interest, “Seriously?” He asked, “Where’d you get it?”

Sora shrugged in a nonchalant fashion, “My Aunt’s bookstore.” He replied, cupping his cheek.

The book looked to be extremely old and worn. The leather was faded and the binding seemed to be coming undone. There was a title imprinted with gold leaf, but neither boy could make out what was written. But, there was nothing about the book to suggest that it was a book on witchcraft, “Have you looked at it yet?” Riku asked, looking up at the brunet.

Sora gave his lover a flat look, “Yeah, and how am I suppose to go about doing that?” He asked, raising an eyebrow, “If my Mother say it, I’d be a dead boy walking.”

Riku frowned lightly at that, mentally kicking himself, “Sorry, didn’t think about that.” He replied softly. He had momentarily forgotten how strict Sora’s mother was.

Sora shook his head, heaving a sigh, letting the other know it was no big deal, “I found it in my Aunt’s shop…” He paused, a pout crossing over his features, “She wouldn’t even give me a family discount…the crazy old bat…”

Riku chuckled, “I be you used a ‘five finger’ discount!” He teased, nudging the other with his knee lightly, “Shame on you! And, your parents call me a bad influence…”

Sora snorted, leaning back in his chair, “If I had used that discount, I’d be missing fingers. You just don’t know my Aunt…” He muttered, nudging the other back.

“That’s because you’re too ashamed to introduce us.” Riku stating, pouting once again, though he knew that wasn’t the case, but he loved to tease Sora anyway.

“Oh ha ha.” Sora laughed dryly, “More like ashamed of my Aunt.” She was the only one that wasn’t overly religious in his family, but, that didn’t mean she didn’t have her own set of issues.

Riku snickered softly at that, “So, what’s the book for anyway?” He asked, giving his lover a smile.

The brunet shrugged, “I thought we could just fool around with it.” He replied.

And apparently, that was the wrong thing to say.

A wicked smirk broke out across Riku’s face, “But, baby, I’d rather fool around with you!” He whispered seductively to Sora, his voice only high enough for Sora to hear him, “How ‘bout in the bathroom…I’ll make it worth your while…”

Sora laughed softly at that, “I’m sure you will…but, isn’t that why I’m spending the weekend with you?” He asked, lifting a delicate brown eyebrow in question, “But, anyway, no fooling around until we look at the book! I didn’t spend a month’s allowance on it to collect dust while we fool around.”

Riku frowned lightly at his lover, “You could have just asked for the money, you know, Sora.” He pointed out softly.

“Let you pay for your own surprise?” The brunet asked, crossing his arms, “I don’t think so. That kind of defeats the whole purpose of a gift.”

Riku slowly nodded in agreement, snickering softly, “Or, you could have just wrapped yourself in a bow. That would have worked too.”

Sora rolled his eyes, smiling, “At least I know what to get you for your birthday.” He replied, shaking his head slowly.

Riku laughed allowed at that, standing up, “I’m already looking forward to it!” He said with a stunning grin as he looked down at the brunet, “Are we staying at my house or in the hide out this weekend?” He asked as he grabbed the book, slipping it back into Sora’s bag before he put the bag over his own shoulder.

Sora, he didn’t even have to think about it. The answer was easy. Too easy. “The hide out.” He replied almost at once as he too stood up, “But, I can’t be late for Mass on Sunday morning. My mom will have a fit.”

Riku nodded, “As always. Wouldn’t want your mother to go mad and try to kill me.” He said dryly as he and the brunet walked toward the exit.

Sora snorted softly at that, “Exactly.” He said softly before pausing, “Though I do need to stop by the house to get some clothes.”

Riku groaned loudly, “Aw man! I’m waiting on the porch!” He said, shaking his head. True, he loved Sora to death, but he could live without his mother’s integrations. “Next Friday, you’re packing a bag and leaving it in my car. That way, right after you get out of school, you’re all mine!”

Sora snickered softly, “Alright. If that’s what you want.”

Riku gave the brunet a breath-taking devilish grin that just promised mischief a little later on, “That’s not all I want!” He said softly, his voice seductive as he gave his lover a wink, the pair nearing Riku’s car.

Sora shook his head, a grin on his face and a blush staining his cheeks, “Well…you’ll just have to wait.”

A pout crossed the silver haired teenager’s features, “But…but, I’ll just die if I don’t get my Sora fix soon!” He cried out dramatically, leaning against his car while holding the back of his hand to his forehead in a very damsel in distress sort of fashion.

Sora laughed loudly, nudging his lover off of the car, “And, I thought you were satisfied this morning when you took me too school.” He replied, raising an eyebrow as he waited for the teen to unlock his door.

Said boy snorted, slipping his key into the passenger side door lock, “A blow job isn’t nearly enough to satisfy me.” He said, twisting the key to unlock the door bending down to sneak a kiss before walking to his own door.

“Well, that can easily be fixed.” Sora said confidently, opening his door before sliding in.

Riku raised an eyebrow, unlocking his own door before getting in as well, “How so?”

Sora gave his lover a playful grin, “We could have quickies on the way to school.” He pointed out, snickering at the thoughtful look he received from his lover in response.

“Now…when I try to get a piece of ass on Monday, don’t you dare complain about being late.” Riku said after a moment, poking the boy in the nose, “It was your idea, after all.”

Sora chuckled softly, “Agreed!” He all but chirped.

The ride to Sora’s house was short, but not exactly boring. The brunet kept flipping through the radio channels, pointing out how Riku should totally invest in a satellite radio because commercials were the Anti-Christ. It took Riku putting in a CD to finally get Sora to shut up…for a moment at least, because the ocean eyed teen decided to start complaining about the band.

Riku glanced at his lover, his eyebrow arched, “Well, you’re just full of it today, huh?” He asked, turning on to Sora’s street.

The brunet shrugged, “It happens when your mother confiscates your iPod because the ‘devil’s’ music is on there.” He pointed out, look over at his boyfriend.

“Point made.” Riku agreed with a nod, “You can borrow mine if you want.” He offered, driving down Sora’s street, passing his childhood home in the process.

“Oh yeah, Mom would burn it.” Sora said with a snort, crossing his arms over his chest as his lover slowed to a stop in front of his house, “With all that heavy metal you have. She’d start foaming at the mouth.”

Riku chuckled softly in response, “As I recall, you like one of those heavy metal bands on my iPod.” He pointed out, putting his car in park, “I’m waiting in the car…avoiding the integration I know your mother wants to give me.”

“Wimp.” Sora teased, opening the car door, “I won’t take long, promise.”

“You’d better not…if your mother sees me, she’ll come out here.” Riku said, glancing at the garage to see Sora’s Mother’s car sitting in the drive way, “If you’re not back in five minutes, I’m leaving you.”

“If you say so.” Sora said, closing the car door behind him before starting up his drive way. He knew Riku wouldn’t leave them. Alone time was few and far in between. Neither of them would waste it when given the chance to have it.

Sora opened his front door, “Hey Mom!” He greeted, peeking his head in the living room where his mother sat, finishing up some things for Mass on Sunday, “I’m going to Riku’s for the weekend, alright?” He asked.

The brown haired woman looked up, the soft curls of her hair framing her face and her crystal blue eyes magnified by glasses, “Just be sure you’re at Mass Sunday.” She said, nodding her head, “And, drag that friend along with you. Riku hasn’t been there for weeks now. The congregation is worried that he’ll turn out like his brothers.”

He’s already more like them than you realize…

“Sure thing, Mom.” Sora said before jogging up the stair case, taking them two at a time until he reached the second floor of his house. He wasted no time in gathering some clothes, shoving them in a bag before racing down the stairs again, not bothering to see if his mother was still in the house.

“You should come to Mass on Sunday, Riku.” Sora’s mother said, leaning against the driver’s said window as she talked to the silver haired youth.

Riku laughed nervously, “I have a…school report…yeah, very important report due on Monday, have to type it up on Sunday.” He replied quickly, giving the woman a breath-taking smile.

She arched an eyebrow, “Isn’t God more important?” She asked, meaningfully.

“God can’t write the report for me…” Riku muttered under his breath, scratching the back of his neck as he lover ran up to the car.

“Mom! We need to go!” The brunet said, giving his mother a pout, “I’ll see you at Mass, alright?” He said, giving his mother a kiss on her cheek before he darted to his side of the car.

Riku heaved a sigh of relief, pulling away from the house, “That was longer than five minutes.” He said, giving his lover a meaningful look when they were stopped at a stop sign.

A chuckle left the brunet’s lips as he leaned over, pressing a kiss to the aquamarine eyed teen, “I’ll make it up to you tonight, promise.”

“You’d better…” Riku grumbled, pulling out onto the highway, “I figured we’d leave the car at Yazoo’s, he’ll cover for us this weekend.”

Sora nodded, “Don’t we need to stop by your house so you can get your things?” He asked, once again leaning over to fiddle with the radio, pouting when he couldn’t find anything decent to listen to.

Riku shook his head, eyeing Sora warily, “My stuff’s already there, dropped it off this morning before I picked you up.” He replied, “Though, I have half mind to pick up my iPod so you’ll stop playing with the radio dial.”

Sora pouted, “If you’d get a satellite radio, we wouldn’t have this problem!” He pointed out.

“And, how am I suppose to pay for the monthly subscription fee?” Riku replied.

“You’re dad already offered to pay you one and pay for it.” Sora reminded the other, “For your birthday, remember?”

Riku blinked, “Yeah…I’ll talk to him about it, M’kay?”

Riku pulled into a posh apartment complex, driving around to the very back of it before pulling into a parking space, “Yazoo’s at work right now.” He said, explaining why his brother’s car was missing, “I already left him a message and a text on his phone letting him know our plans for the weekend, alright?”

Sora nodded, “Okay.” He said, pushing open the door, “Is he enjoying his new job?” He asked as he walked over to Riku’s backseat, opening the door, to pull out his things.

Riku shrugged, “How enjoyable can 30 snot nosed brats be?” He asked, getting out of his own seat, looking over the car at his lover, “But, it’s apart of earning his degree, he has to have a certain amount of teaching experience before he can have his own class.”

“And he got stuck with kindergarten?” Sora asked, stifling a snicker as he pulled his two bags out, closing the door with his hip before closing the passenger side in the same manner.

Yazoo was, by far, the favorite brother of Sora’s. Riku had a total of three elder brother’s, all varying in degrees of annoyingness. Loz was the eldest and often was the peacemaker of the family, while Kadaj was the second youngest to Riku. Kadaj the instigator. And, the one that often got into fist fights with Riku. And, Yazoo was the model middle child.

“Oh! While I’m thinking about it.” Riku said, locking his car up, “Yazoo wants to have lunch with us sometime.”

Sora blinked, turning around to look at his lover, “…only Yazoo?”

Riku chuckled softly at that, “Yazoo promises Kadaj won’t be within ten feet of his house on that day.” He promised.

Sora breathed a sigh of relief, “Good.”

It wasn’t that Sora didn’t like Kadaj…it was more like Kadaj was a little too nosy and loved to tease Sora a little too much.

Riku’s brother were practically the only people who knew about him and Riku. Which was okay, all three of them were also gay and had been forced to hide various relationships from their mother.

“All ready?” Riku asked, reaching for Sora’s hand

Sora nodded before the pair started off into the woods that surrounded the apartment complex.

Buried deep within the woods, while following a trail that only Sora, Riku, and his brother’s knew about, was quickly built shack. It wasn’t much, but it was just enough for a quiet weekend with your boyfriend where the two of you could do things deemed as sinful without the chance of being caught.

Riku’s elder brothers hardly used it anymore; Yazoo and Loz having their own places while Kadaj’s current boyfriend had his own place. Though…even if Kadaj did want to use it, he couldn’t because Riku hid his set of keys to the pad-lock.

The plot of woodland was owned by Riku’s father, as was the apartment complex next to it housing both Yazoo and Loz.

They walked deeper into the woods, taking care to keep on the trail that Riku’s brothers before him had made so that no one would get lost with a boner in the woods. They only paused when Riku pushed Sora into a tree, sealing their lips together in a heated kiss, one that promised much more later on.

“I’ve been waiting all day for that.” Riku murmured against Sora’s plump lips before pressing his to his lover’s again momentarily.

“You’re not the only one.” Sora replied, giving his lover a seductive smile, leaning up into another kiss, his arms coming around the silver haired boy’s neck.

Riku sighed softly into the kiss, pulling away a moment later, “Sometimes I hate this close minded town.” He murmured before tugging Sora along the path once more, “Having to hide our relationship when I just want to scream it out to the world.”

“At least we have this.” Sora said, looking at his lover, “It’s better than nothing at all.”

“Yeah. You’re right.” Riku agreed softly as the shack come into view, his free hand digging around in his pocket for the pad lock key, “But sometimes I just want more.”
