Iria’s POV
The pain had become unbearable. Iria lay on the ground gasping for air. Her lungs on fire and her heart felt like it was being torn apart. The poison poured into the room from nearby vents and was now entering her blood stream. She tried to get up, but it was all in vain. The world just wouldn’t stay in one place. Iria closed her eyes tight and prayed the pain would stop. If anyone had told her this is how she would die, she would have laughed at him or her.
Her heartbeat started to slow down. She wondered if Yuhi, Sage, Nathan, and Alucard, were all right. She hoped that they were. She hoped that they had found Kimosya and kicked his mutant ass from here to the mortal world. The pain had already stopped, now she was cold. Her eyes shot open and she struggled to get up again. “I can’t die. Not like this. Not now,” she gritted through clenched teeth, “I can’t…” The world became black.
