Bloody Domination

Co-Written by Harley Quinn hyenaholic and Terminus Est

Harley: That’s the bitch about getting all the credit. You get all the flames too.

Terminus: Out of those ten reasons QJD gave, I think only five hold any substance. The rest repeat things and also call us sick. Harley likes it when people call her sick. It shows they’ve been paying attention.

Harley: Want to know why Tikal comes into it? Well, it’s for Disaster Master, I guess. Poor old DM doesn’t like M/M much, so I thought I’d do him a favour and have at least one more M/F scene.

Chapter Nine: Healing

Shadow looked back at the unconcious, defiled Guardian of Angel Island, and smirked. So much for him... he turned to the Master Emerald. Now for the finishing touch to permanently scar the echidna's psyche. He hurled a Chaos Spear at the Master Emerald. It cracked, and then shattered. The shards lay around the Altar. Slowly, Angel Island was sinking to sea level, but he didn't wait for that. Tikal and Chaos had both sprung out of the Master Emerald.

Tikal looked around. The Master Emerald chamber was not as she remembered it. The stones were old and weathered rather than polished and well-kept like she recalled. The elaborately painted murals were peeling. Strange metal objects on the ceiling cast a cold white light into the room. And a sneering black hedgehog stood there, with an unconscious red echidna behind him.

"Ah, Tikal, I presume?" Shadow bowed mockingly, "And you," he looked behind her to the great water monster behind her, "You must be the great god Chaos."

"Who are you?" asked Tikal, "And how do you know my name?" She looked over at the echidna slumped over the floor. Blood had pooled around the echidna, trickling from his head and his body. She gasped, "My gods, what happened to him?"

"To answer your questions, dear girl, I am Shadow the Hedgehog. I know your name because there have been many stories about you. And I happened to him," Shadow grinned evily.

Tikal knelt next to Knuckles and touched his heart. It was still beating, and he breathed slowly, "What did you do to him?" she asked, rolling him gently onto his side.

Shadow laughed, "Something not unlike what I'm going to do to you... but first..." he chuckled, bent over, and spin-dashed into Chaos. The water beast was taken off guard and flailed about for a few moments, before Shadow continued his attack, over and over again without stopping, until the beast dissolved into a puddle of water.

"Chaos!" Tikal looked on in horror as the guardian spirit of the Chao dissipated. She knew it was only temporary, that Chaos would be back on his… flippers soon enough, but to see him defeated so easily… “How did you do that?” she asked the dark hedgehog.

Shadow laughed, "The same way I subdued him," he said, pointing to the red echidna lying on the floor, "Would you like to be next?"

"No!" Tikal backed away, afraid, "Why are you carrying out these... these horrible acts of violence?" she asked him.

"Why not?" Shadow asked. He laughed, a mocking, hideous laugh that pierced her very soul, "Why not, indeed?" He grabbed one of her breasts, and squeezed.

Tikal gasped, horrified, and pulled back, regaining her self-control, "It would be very easy for you to hurt me, Shadow the Hedgehog," she said, "You could defile my body on these very steps and I would not have the power to stop you. And as a pacifist, I would not try. Would it not be a much greater show of power to rule over your desires and not hurt me?"

"It's not about my desires," said Shadow, practically growling, "It's about sending a message. A message to an enemy of mine..."

"Who is your enemy?" Tikal asked, hoping to keep Shadow talking.

“He calls himself Sonic. But that's besides the point,” He put a hand between her thighs uninvited, "Seeing his buddy and his buddy's distant ancestor lying raped and bleeding would have a profound effect on him."

Raped? Oh gods… "Are you sure that Sonic is your enemy?" Tikal asked him, "Are you sure your enemy is not somewhere closer?" she asked him, laying a hand on Shadow's chest, "If this is all about a message, feel the message I send to your heart."

Shadow snorted, "That's an admirable sentiment. But this is about revenge, you see. Hearts have nothing to do with it. And once all his friends are defiled," he said, licking his lips, "I'll do him as the grand finale!"

To say that Tikal was not afraid would be a lie. She was terrified, but she kept trying, determined not to show the fear she felt, "Revenge?” she asked, “Revenge is the cause of all the trouble in the world. It will not give you relief, or heal your soul. It will only lead to more pain. More pain for you," she said, "And that pain will come from within."

"Pain for me?" Shadow laughed again, "You think I'll feel bad? You have got to be kidding. Consciences are so overrated."

"It doesn't have to be from guilt," Tikal said, "When you have had your revenge, what then will your purpose be? You will not feel fulfilled, you will feel empty, and you will realise that your life has no meaning."

"Stupid girl, you understand nothing," he said, stroking her braids, "You don't understand hate. You don't understand vengeance. You're just a stupid little girl who can't wrap her feeble mind around such concepts."

"You are wrong, Shadow the Hedgehog," Tikal said, "I understand hate and vengeance all too well, and that is why I stand against them. I think it is you who does not understand, or you would never seek them."

"Stupid, stupid girl," he said again, "I want to make Sonic suffer. It's the only thing that brings me joy. You're just an instrument to make him suffer." He grinned savagely.

"If you search for joy from causing foul suffering, then your joy will also be foul," Tikal said, her hand still resting on his heart, "Not only to others, but also to yourself. You will gain no true satisfaction for evil acts, for I feel that you yourself are not wholly evil - only misguided. I do not ask if there is good in you - I say that there is good in you. And it is suffering far more than any of your victims ever will."

Shadow’s face twitched, "Shut up, bitch!" he backhanded her across the face, sending her sliding across the floor, and then walked up to her, "You little bitch," he said, kicking her to roll her onto her back, "You talk all this shit, but you're just as clueless as all my other victims. I bet you're tight, too."

Tikal stood, shakily, and faced him again, "Why do you want to hurt people, Shadow?" she asked him, blood trickling from her nose, "What could you possibly gain? No joy, no satisfaction, no respite will come from their pain, only emptiness and a longing for something, but you don't remember what."

"You will never understand me," he said as he grabbed the cords that fastened her ceremonial dress together, "You will never understand me!"

Tikal did not fight him, "I haven't the strength to stop you, and I will not try," she said, shaking, "If I do not understand, then help me to understand. Tell me your pain."

Shadow looked furious, "He let me drop!" he bellowed, "I helped him, and for what? He let me die! HE LET ME DIE! I was saved, but as far as he is concerned, it makes no difference. And now it's his turn to feel pain!"

"You feel betrayed," Tikal said, shaking with fear, but her resolve strengthened, "A friend betrayed you. And you feel pain, not because you came so close to death, but because you still live."

"Bullshit!" Shadow snarled, "It's his fault. I'm going to make him pay. You're just... collateral damage."

"I did not say it was your fault," Tikal said softly, "But the pain you feel is not physical. It goes so much deeper," she rested her hand on his chest again. It was the first time somebody had touched him without intent to harm in years. Tikal's soft words were actually registering in Shadow's mind, "If you will not listen to me, then at least listen to your heart. Ask it what it needs. Does it need hatred and loneliness? Or does it need love, and companionship?"

Shadow twitched, "Shut up!" he kicked her in the shins, sending her falling to her knees, "You stupid bitch!" he grabbed her by the neckline of her dress and shook her before throwing her down, “Too damn stupid to run!”

Tikal winced in pain, and looked up again, "I will not run from you," she said, "I will not fight you. I only wish to help you."

Shadow turned away. Was Tikal actually right? But even if she was, that didn't change what Sonic had done to him. He had to do something to make the blue bastard pay. Something. Anything.

"Please," Tikal stood up, her legs shaking a little, "Let me help you."

"Help me? How?" said Shadow, turning to face her, "Unless you can help me kill Sonic."

"I won't help you hurt anyone," Tikal said, stepping forward, "I want you to stop hurting people. More than that, I want you to want to stop hurting people," she reached out and took his hand, "I want to help you to stop hurting inside."

“How?" said Shadow, feeling strange as she touched him, "I don't understand."

"Feel something other than pain," Tikal said, "Feel me," she rested his hand over her heart, "Or at least, feel my compassion for your pain."

"I don't understand what I'm thinking, or feeling," said Shadow, "I'm not sure I understand anything anymore."

Tikal sighed. When she had promised to protect the Chao and the Temple of Chaos, she had taken a vow of celibacy. But now that time and those people were all long gone. The Empire was dead. And suddenly her celibacy didn't seem so important, compared to stopping this hedgehog from creating more havoc, "Feel love," she said softly, and leant forward, bravely wrapping Shadow's lips in a soft, fearless kiss.

Shadow gasped as Tikal kissed him. For a moment he couldn't believe what was happening. Then he decided to just go with the flow, wrapping his arms around her.

Tikal was the one to break the kiss. She took Shadow's cheeks in her hands and looked into his crimson eyes, "I want you to understand that causing pain is not the way to recover from pain," she said, "If you cannot understand on your own, then I must show you." She kissed him again, softly.

"I... I'll try..." said Shadow as he stroked her neck, "I don't know what to do."

"Neither do I," Tikal admitted, "But for your sake, I must try too." She continued to kiss him, very gently, very softly, running her fingers through his quills gently, "Causing pain is not an escape from pain," she said softly, between kisses, "It only breeds more pain."

"Pain is all I've ever known," said Shadow, kissing her back, "Gerald gave me pain. GUN gave me pain. Eggman gave me pain. Sonic gave me pain. Nobody is ever on my side."

"I am on your side," Tikal said gently, "I want your pain to end. I want all pain to end." She ran her fingers over his shoulders, feeling hard muscle under his skin, "I want peace, and true peace starts with the heart."

"Maybe," said Shadow, rubbing her ears, "there can be peace, if it's not too late."

"It is never too late," Tikal said softly. Her hands moved slowly over his chest, feeling his heart beating, "Trust me..."

"Sonic has said many times that he will kill me," Shadow said as he rubbed the back of her neck, "I don't think he's bluffing."

"Sonic doesn't matter here," Tikal said, "Forget him..." She kissed Shadow again, moving her lips more firmly over his, stroking them with her tongue.

Shadow opened his mouth, letting her tongue slip in, moaning into the kiss. It felt different, somehow better than the simple, brutal pleasures he had indulged in before.

Still kissing him, Tikal pulled him down very gently, so that he was lying on her at the foot of the steps to the Master Emerald Altar. His hands moved to pull off her clothes again, but she took them and wrapped them around her waist gently instead.

Shadow stroked her hips, feeling the warm flesh through her skirt, "Can I... see your body?" he said finally.

"I won't stop you from looking," Tikal said, "But it means enough that you ask my permission," she kissed him again, "Yes, you may."

Shadow gently undid the cords holding her dress on and let the garment fall to the floor. She was beautiful, with a slender, strong, healthy figure and short, soft fur. He ran his hands over her slowly and delicately.

Tikal blushed. She'd never been naked with a man before. Her fingers trailed slowly over Shadow's body, watching as muscle shifted under fur and skin, resting her hands on his hips gently.

"You're beautiful," said Shadow, "Absolutely beautiful." His hands drifted closer to her chest, "Can I touch… your breasts?" he asked.

"Yes, you may," Tikal said softly, shivering slightly. It was good that he was asking, it was a start towards helping him. And besides, she wanted him to touch her. She couldn't explain why.

He gently stroked her firm breasts, first very lightly, and then more firmly, kneading her flesh, "You like that?" he asked, “Please like it…”

"Yes but... please be gentle," Tikal said, "I've never done this before..." She stroked his cheeks and his chest lightly.

He continued, but more slowly, a little less ravenously, exploring every inch of her breasts and running a finger down her cleavage.

Tikal smiled, and ran her fingers down his sides, moving over his hips.

Shadow moaned as Tikal stroked him, "You know," he said, "there's nothing stopping you from moving your hands... just a little bit inward..."

"I know," Tikal shivered under his light touch, "But I didn't want to... make choosing more difficult for you." Her hands moved nevertheless, rubbing the insides of his thighs slowly.

"Oh, that feels good," said Shadow as he repaid her caresses, massaging her gently. He splayed his legs a little to give her easier access.

Tikal shivered again with pleasure, and moved her hands up, still closer to Shadow's crotch, "I want to ease the pain in your heart," she said softly, "I want your mind to be at peace..."

Taking his hands off Tikal's breasts and began to move them down, caressing her firm stomach, "Well," he said, "I think that might just happen now..."

"It might," Tikal agreed. She shivered as Shadow's hands touched her, and rubbed his crotch slowly.

A deep rumble came from Shadow's throat as Tikal fondled him. He eased his fingers into her panties and began to stroke her there.

Tikal sighed and shivered as he rubbed her slit. She could feel his shaft sliding out into her hand.

Shadow paused momentarily to pull himself into a sitting position, with Tikal. He took off his shoes and gloves, and did the same for her. He briefly rubbed the soles of her feet as he removed her sandals.

Tikal smiled as he tickled her a little, and took his hands in her own, enjoying the feel of their skin pressed together.

Shadow kissed her again, a long, slow passionate kiss. He stroked her tongue with his as he massaged her foot with one hand and rubbed her thighs with the other.

"Oh..." Tikal moaned softly, one hand moving between his legs slowly, rubbing at his ballsack slowly as he swelled further, the other stroking his face, moving through his quills.

Shadow broke off the kiss and then leaned forward and began to lick her clitoris. With one hand he rubbed the areas where her legs met her trunk and with the other he kneaded her breasts.

"Oh! Ooooh..." Tikal gripped the grass underneath her tightly, "Oh, yes..." The feelings going through her body were really worth sacrificing her celibacy for.

Shadow lapped at Tikal's clitoris more energetically now, his fingers probing her vagina gently. Within moments, a cry of "Shadow!" informed him that he had hit the mark.

Tikal gazed upwards, "Shadow... I want to see your face again," she moaned. She took his face in her hands gently and pulled him up to look at her again, "I want to kiss you," she said softly.

Shadow sat up taking one of Tikal's feet in his lap and sliding his fingers between her toes. He looked into her eyes and opened his mouth as she kissed him again.

Tikal slid her tongue into his mouth, tasting herself on him. Her hands slid between his legs, rubbing and listening to him moan.

Shadow groaned loudly as Tikal's hands wrapped around his shaft. He continued massaging the soft flesh of her feet. After what seemed like an eternity, he broke off the kiss, and looked into Tikal's eyes while stroking her slit, "Should we get on with this, then?" he asked finally.

"Should we?" Tikal asked him, "Should we 'get on with this'? What do you want?" she asked him, sitting up, "What will make you happy? Really happy?"

Shadow stroked Tikal's face, "What would make me really happy right now," he said, "would be to make love to you."

"Then let it be love," Tikal replied, "And nothing less." Her hand moved over his shaft once more, and she moved closer to him, so that his length pressed against her belly.

Shadow sucked in his breath and straddled her as she lay back. Slowly, very slowly, he pushed his shaft into her vagina. He cursed quietly as he felt her hymen break, and then looked into her eyes.

Tikal grimaced in internal agony, but reached up anyway and rubbed his furry white chest, "This is about... healing your pain... not mine," she said, but there were still tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.

"I'm sorry," said Shadow. He hesitated for a moment before thrusting again, trying to find the right spot to give her pleasure, Why is she so selfless? he thought, Doesn't she care about her own pleasures at all? He ran his hands down her back, sliding them between her buttocks and the floor and feeling her round, perfectly formed rear end.

Tikal groaned softly and her hands slipped under his tail, rubbing, stroking, squeezing tenderly, "I want... I want you to be happy... truly happy... in your heart..."

"I am happy," said Shadow, kissing Tikal, "Happier than I've been for a long time, thanks to you." He rubbed Tikal's breasts, smiling and purring.

Tikal smiled back, and moaned as he slid forward into her again, bending her knees and spreading her legs, so that he could be closer, move deeper.

Shadow groaned, pushing in faster in a more regular rhythm. He ran his hands over Tikal's body, feeling her muscles tense under the skin and fur. He stroked her hips and entwined his feet with hers.

Tikal's hands moved over his chest, feeling it shift, vibrate with purrs, and then down to his belly, to where their bodies met.

Shadow wrapped his mouth around one of Tikal's nipples, licking it as it hardened and provoking a groan from the echidna maiden. Soon he felt the familiar pulsating, tightening sensation as an amazing feeling welled up inside him.

"Ooooh..." Tikal moaned, "Oh, yes," Her fingers knotted in Shadow's fur and tugged at him. Her chest heaved with each breath.

"Tikal!" Shadow cried as he climaxed inside her, his heart pounding in his chest and his breath coming in gasps. When it was all over, he struggled to hold himself up.

"Ah! Oh!" Tikal cried out again, "Shadow!" She burned inside, it was undeniable, the pain was terrible... but amazingly, she had not been raped. She had given herself, and not been taken. And he had not despoiled what she had given him. Maybe, just maybe, it was going to be alright.

Shadow pulled away and slumped on the floor beside her. His chest ached and his limbs felt heavy. He lay beside Tikal, staring at the sky with half-closed eyes.

Tikal gasped for breath a few times, then moved to lie on top of Shadow. She looked into his eyes, stroking his cheeks, "I want you to be happy," she said softly, "I want you to be at peace."

"I will," said Shadow, "if Sonic can make peace with me."

"No," Tikal said, "That is not what I meant. I want you to be at peace with yourself."

Shadow sighed, "I'm still working on that."

Tikal leant forward and kissed him long and tenderly, "Remember what I taught you," she said softly, "Pain does not bring an end to pain," tears trickled down her cheeks, "Fighting does not bring an end to war. Vengeance does not fulfil. It only leaves you empty..."

Shadow rested her head against his chest, "Don't cry," he said, "It hurts me to see you cry."

Tikal smiled, wiping her eyes, "Then it hurts you to see others in pain... and there is always hope. Shadows are only a sign that there is light to be found."

"But what can I do?" Shadow asked, "Sonic hates me. If I try to make peace with him, he will kill me."

"What can we all do?" Tikal asked him, "The world is full of violence and hatred, what difference can one person make?" she leant closer, "One person can make all the difference..."

Harley: Since we ripped out three chapters, things will be happening very differently. Who knows? Maybe Tails won’t get raped. Not as any particular reaction to your pleas, of course.

Terminus: Although who knows what will happen in the next few chapters? Hell, maybe Shadow will repent?

Harley: I hope the fact that Shadow didn’t rape Tikal isn’t too much for you all. And Chaos Zero is a pushover. Read and Review!
