I was directed to this fic after it was praised as the most unholy godawful abomination ever to be written in the form of fanfiction, so gruesome and stomach-churning I would not sleep for days after reading it. You cunts disappointed me. Severely.

Here's a bit of advice- pick ONE point of view and stick with it. Constantly switching between Shadow's inner dialogue and his victim's inner dialoge does not make for good suspense. You obviously know nothing of actual fear or actual pain, as you can't describe either worth a shit, and it's paaaainfully obvious that you're virgins and are trying to compensate for that by regurgitating penis descriptions you've read in the pathetic little guides on the forums, since you're even shittier at describing sex. You didn't even TRY to describe the shameful arousal that comes with rape, the inevitable conflict of a gentle brush across the clitoris sending an automatic wave of pleasure through a young girl's inexperienced body despite the agony of her humiliation and the fear welling in her chest. It's because you can't, you fucking homos.

Your dumb little fucking author notes before and after severely take away from any credibility this story had in the first place. It's obvious you're both edgy 12 year-old lesbian emo fuckfaces who just discovered gurochan and are desparate to "epic troll lulz" by writing the next big childhood-raping fanfiction that will be passed around the internet like an urban legend. Unfortunately, this will never be the next "Cupcakes" or "Rainbow Factory" for ONE simple reason: You're GARBAGE at writing. Your emphasis on "omg Cream's only 6 and Amy's only 12 ISN'T THAT TURRIBLE lol I rape babies and cut myself BE OFFENDED TOOLS" is fucking pathetic fishing and shows just how desperate you are to cover up your shitacular writing with supposedly awful fictional scenarios that would offend anybody right? I tell you what though, this shit's fucking tame. It is lukewarm and tepid. Only a real writer can strike fear into your heart using nothing but the written word, and that's exactly what you aren't. You're not even close. You're worthless.

P.S. There's a typo in that 2nd Amy chapter where you didn't replace a "your" with a "she" so for some odd reason the story suddenly addresses MY- the reader's- tears. Fucking dumbasses.

Is it wrong that every time I see your username and a new story, I shiver in anticipation and then immediately click to start reading? Probably, but no worse than indulging myself and actually sticking with it to the end. Once again, you guys have managed to both shock and horrify me with your collective works, and I cannot thank you enough. You are the ones who inject a healthy overdose of realism back into an otherwise far too happy-go-lucky fandom. In my eyes, you exist to point out that no, real life isn't all hunky-dorey, and not everybody gets a fair lot of love and friendship. Your take on Shadow's very real mentail insecurities and instabilities is astounding, to say the least. It had all the elements you'd both want and expect of a crazed serial killer/rapist, with very realistic motives and you never lost course of them. I can honestly say I was hooked and unable to put my laptop down until I had finished reading this. While Tails was alluded to be the final victim from very early on, I genuinely wondered whether Shadow would go through with it as he slowly became more and more unstable, and by the time I began reading Chapter 12, I was as surprised as I would have been if it hadn't been alluded to. The sex scenes were well-written, gorey without being overly so, and each a gritty yet strangely erotic account that beffited the characters'. My only issue is that I personally think you fight scenes need a little work, but that may just be me, and it's but a small stain on an otherwise perfect bloody picture of a tale. Thanks once again for a gritty, intense read, and that I don't need to pay for your psychiatric bills. I look forward to your other works as and when they are released.
With fondest regards,
TheTrulyAvaricious.
P.S. I am aware of this fic's sequel and the current work-in-progress "Prison Island Break", both of which I have read up to their latest chapter(s). My thoughts will be saved for them on their respective categories. Keep up the good work, you lovable head-fucked rogues.

Wow, that is some scary evil shit there, but why isn't there a snuff code in the title? Need to put one in.
I agree with dm, ultimate life form or not, there is nothing of ultimate invulnerability. I personaly can think of several ways to take out shadow.
Way one: NUCLEAR BOMB
Way two: NUCLEAR MISSILE
Way three: QUANTUM SINGULARITY PROJECTOR CANNON (black hole gun for you lamens out there.)

And there are many more.
Also, some of the death and torture scenes were over the top, I mean, I know it was intended, I think, but you kinda made it into one of those cheesy horror flicks.

Well, for now that's all, i'll check out BD2 and leave a little review.

MY GOD!! I didn't know it would end with Shadow dead... And yet, I alway's wondered what Knuckles would look like holding a gun. Just hope you can finish ARAAT before starting the sequel (if there ever is one).
This is S.M.F saying: Project SONIC.

Alright so the first few chapters the only thing that kept running through my head was "sick, sick, sick." but once I got used to the rape and whatnot I looked past it and focused on the main point of the story which is: Shadow battling with the "demons" in his head(as he does often). I then found the story to be a really good and deep one. Depending on your point of view.
Overall I think it's very good and anyone who wants a nailbitter should read it!

The ending was a bit disappointing. I expected a huge fight at the end between Super Sonic and Super Shadow or something like that. But nonetheless, Shadow is dead and it's all over.

Now as for a sequel; I didn't want one at first, but after seeing all the descriptions that Draconis named, it changed my mind. There are so many possibilities, and I must know the outcome of them all.

I give the overall score 4.5 out of 5. Great story, and I'm looking forward for a sequel.

One thing I want to say about people complaining about certain things, like, "Hey, this can't happen, because you're ignoring (certain aspect) from the canon universe!" I think you're forgetting the whole point of fanfiction is modifying the original reality into whatever you want, so that your story makes sense, is original and hopefully fun.

Really? I was under the impression the point of fanfiction was to take the world and the characters and put them through situations and events in order to create a story *within the confines of the world and it's populace*.

Altering the features and the world or the people in it is, to my mind, one of the less competent means of creating in a sequence of events within a world somebody else has designed.

I'm just saying everything about power rings, or Shadow (possibly, since it's not really confirmed in-story) dying, as well as everything else everyone else before you complained about, is pointless, dumb and just plain shouldn't be said. It's a fake story and the story's emotions and events could not be possible if the authors were to follow your desires fully. If I want to write Sonic melting into a puddle of mozzarella cheese, then I'm going to do it.
