A Rising Threat, Part 2
Shar Teel knew she needed a plan. First she had to neutralize the necromancers, then get back to the wagon and help Vicky, and then hunt down the mysterious dark elf and get some answers. The bare skeleton of what she had to do was set and Shar Teel began to prepare. Since the clearing was mainly occupied by magic-users, Shar removed most of her armour, as it was obstructive to what she was doing. Then with a paste made from a pouch of powders and her own blood, she began to apply the sacred woad that would protect her from magic.
Tracing precise patterns across her nude form, each symbol had been taught to her by Angelo, but was difficult to use since each took time to set. This wasn’t the case anymore as she had access to some of the rarest materials in the world. Her symbols would be set in a couple of minutes, extraordinary as most took an hour at least. So Shar Teel sat in the bushes paying careful attention to the battle at the road.
Worry began to set in as it dawned on Shar that the sound of battle were dying down and the Trollbark Woods were growing eerily quiet except for the chanting of necromancers. Grabbing her sword, Shar Teel was going to investigate and make sure everything was alright back at the wagon, but suddenly a rough hand caught her by the hair and threw to the ground.
“Whatch a we git here”, the man obviously had drunk a lot more since the dark elf and orcs had left. Which was funny considering it had only been a couple of minutes. Which reminded Shar Teel.
An orb in her hand erupted into a magical sword unlike any before wielded. An ethereal blade designed not attack the physical body, but the spirit of the opponent. With a single swing of the blade the drunk fell to the ground dead. No blood, no gore, no undesired blood splatter, just dead. How Shar Teel loved being in the service of the Lord of Murder. As she used her blade to kill the remaining necromancers, a song couldn’t help but escape her lips.
The moment the field was cleared of opponents, Shat Teel snapped back to attention. She still had two objectives to complete and she had allowed herself to get carried away. Naked and holding an orb, she burst through the underbrush and back towards the wagon.

Viconia was unconscious as the orcs carried her limp body back to their encampment deep within the woods. Never had most of the orcs seen a dark elf though it was common knowledge that their great chief, Ugluk had some sort of treaty with one. So most of the camp gathered around to see Ugluk defile one. The women swooned the, the men cheered, as Ugluk emerged completely naked with the still out dark elf in tow.
Ugluk knew what this moment meant for his tribe. It was an affri..affirm… proof that his people were better then all the other races, including the terrifying dark elves. So he lay the Viconia down so the entire group of witnesses could see his crowning glory.
“She smell not right Ugluk”, a crowd member taunted.
“Perhaps she dead, I hit her hard on elf ears”, a second crowd member boasted as he flexed to the gathered orc females.
“Shut your mouth, she smell no worse then my mate”, Ugluk announce to the crowd, which caused it to erupt in to a wave of laughter.
“She just as excited as mate is to be with you ”, the first crowd member said in cocky manner. The crowd’s laughter masked the killing blow from Ugluk’s big axe that was now embedded into the unruly orcs head.
Ugluk pleased at how he had pacified the crowd returned to business at hand. He mounted the prone elf and began to tear into her. Fierce thrusts nearly caused Viconia to fly of the table, which she had been presented on. It took two orcs to hold her down so the chief could conclude his presentation without interruption. All the while Ugluk’s eyes were closed, he was far off in his own fantasy world where the hordes he would amass would sweep Faerun clean of all other races. Except he would preserve their women for his harem. So distracted was Ugluk that he never noticed the groaning, maggots emerging from orifices, and the fact he wasn’t no longer on top of a nubile dark elf, but rather a half rotten zombie.
Viconia laughed as her zombie ripped the throat out of the chieftain. Orcs barely understood their own shaman’s power let alone the vastly superior powers of the cleric classes of the other races. So Viconia opted to teach them a lesson.
The orcs stood in stunned silence as what was thought to be their tribes greatest moment was robbed be a dark elf that turned into a flesh-eating zombie. Whispering the incantation to a very powerful spell, Viconia laughed again at the pretty present the dumb chieftain had left her. The nature of the spell allowed her to fill any corpse with the murderous rage of her master, but the corpse need to be used in a sex act witnessed by both the living and the dead. Normally the ritual leading up to the spell was preformed by bewitched farmers back in the temple, but Ugluk in his rush to glory had just given Viconia a powerful weapon and spelled the doom of his entire tribe.
Leaving the encampment to their fate, Viconia walked into the direction of the Trade Way. Her entourage was dead and she knew whatever had happened today was bigger then some brigand raid. No, someone was after her and she needed to get to Neverwinter fast.

Shar Teel had searched a hundred times over, but couldn’t find Vicky’s corpse. That was either a good thing or a very bad thing. Worry began to wash over her, what would it look like if she let her charge die. Worry began to turn into an intense burning rage that boiled just beneath her skin.
The heat was almost entirely extinguished as she saw a lone silhouette on the road. At first she thought it was Viconia, or perhaps that mysterious dark elf, in which cause Shar Teel was thankful that for protective symbols were still intact and in effect. But as the lone drow came closer she saw that figure was to short to be either Vicky or the cowled drow.
“You protect Viconia of the house Valsun”, the figure said looking very battered up.
“Ya, I protect Vicky”, Shar Teel said as she crossed her arms, making sure she seemed her most intimidating.
Though she never had thought it possible the dark elf looked frightened, but not entirely by her show of dominance. The girl shifted slightly and looked behind her, then handed Shar Teel a brooch. Shar was going to ask what it was for, but the girl said something unintelligible and Shar Teel began to fall into blackness.
The dark elf girl took the fallen brooch and immediately placed it in Shar Teel’s hair. Casting another spell to make it invisible, the girl readied herself to depart, but paused a moment near Shar Teel, “I’m sorry I had to do this, but you need to protect Viconia in both realms”, the girl swooped down and began to caress Shar Teel’s exposed breasts, “You humans always had the finest breasts”, with that she was gone.
