Lazlo's the man!

I told the two chicks I was going for a leak. I wasn't lying, I just didn't return afterwards. They were pretty damn clingy which annoyed the shit out of me. After the sex they were all mooshy-mooshy, and just couldn't shut-up about the future. They argued alot, but eventually they came to terms, and agreed that they both were going to be my wives, and planned to raise a big family with me. Explosions went off in my head, and they weren't the glorious kind. From there on I knew I had to get the hell away from those two.

When I was done pissing I quickly went to find Kika, and asked her to join me into the Obel Ruins. She questioned why it was just the two of us, and I told her that I wanted to focus on improving our dual attack. Also, to use it to defeat the Angel Hairball guarding that one chest there. She doubted that the two of us could take on that creature, because last time it beated our asses, and we were in a group of four. I explained that our skills have enhanced greatly since then, and that we were certain to defeat it now. She still proved quite hesitant as she gave it some more thought. To add a little cockiness I said, "Don't worry babe, I'll protect you," then gave her a roguish wink.

She became slightly amused, and finally peered at me from the corner of her pretty eyes. "Heh, I don't need your protection. But, you're certainly sure of yourself. Alright kid, I hope you know what you're doing. You better put your skills where your mouth is," she said, and then we setted off. We asked Vicky to send us off to Obel. Once there we headed towards the ruins. During our travel Kika was awfully quiet, and seemed quite distant even though I tried to start some small talk. I wasn't sure what was going on with her. Ever since we fucked, things were just not normal between us. I was receiving strange vibes from her. As much as I wanted to tell her about my seeds that were inside her I wasn't sure she even remembered the event. Because she was drunk at that time she acted like it never happen.

If I wanted something, and this was really important to me I had to push myself towards it. So, of its own accord my right hand shot up, and grabbed Kika's left arm. She eyed my hand with a "what the fuck?" expression on her pretty face. I was scared shitless, but I didn't dare show it. Certainly not infront of a woman I was sprung after. "Hey doll, you may be carrying my baby," the words just came out of my mouth without much thought. I wasn't sure what happen. I wanted to slap myself, but at the same time I was relieved I got it out.

"Excuse me?" she asked in her calm tone.

"That one time we had sex, and you were drunk... You rode me like a wildcat..."

"I know what we did, but what makes you think that I would be carrying a baby?"

"Because I spilled my seed in you," I said matter-of-factly.

"Yes, but don't you know there's a method to prevent childbirth?"

"Oh, really? Phew! So that means if we do it again, and I spill more seeds in you, you wouldn't mind going through that baby cleaning method again?"

"It's called abortion, and I never said I went through it. It could only be done if there's an embyro or fetus in the uterus, and it's still too early to detect that. And, you have to understand something kid, what we had was fun, but it shouldn't happen again."

"And why not?" I was offended.

"Look, it's rather complicated. Let's just go kill the Angel Hairball."

As she was about to move forward I yelled, "Kika! I deserve to know!"

She paused for a bit to study me as she pierced me with her eyes before she said, "Let me explain something. First, I was born under Tenko, the star of loneliness. Second, you bear the Rune of Punishment. Third, I have lost a lover. With these odds, it won't work for us."

"What are you implying? That I want to be your boyfriend?"

She just stared at me without blinking which made me felt uncomfortable, so I tried to laugh it off.

"Alright then, if that was not the case, then let us forget the whole thing, and move on." She turned to walk ahead, but I felt I just couldn't let her go, so I said, "Wait Kika... Are you telling me you don't think I can overcome the Rune of Punishment?"

"I wouldn't take you as my leader if I didn't believe in you."

"Then what's the problem?"

"I am still the Tenko star."

"That's bullshit! No one have to be alone! If you want a life long, and loyal companion I can make it happen for you!"

She was slightly taken aback by my sudden rise in anger. I never really showed it to anyone, but I've developed a strong passion for this damn woman. I wasn't going to deny it any longer. I loved her.

"I'm sorry, please let's just get this little quest over with," she said, and then turned her sadness away as she hurried on ahead.

"Kika..."

She ignored me, and continued further.

"Kika!!"

Still she went on.

"As your lord I command you to stay!"

She wouldn't stay. As I was about to chase after her, I felt something tug at me. It held me down like an invisible claw, and scratched at my heart. I abruptly fell to my knees, and cringed in pain. It wasn't physical, because tears begun to leak from my stung blue eyes. I don't remember ever hurting this much. Was this my punishment? Has the curse from the rune evolved, and claimed my heart?

I dwelled there in my pain for awhile until I remembered that Kika went to fight the Angel Hairball alone. In my worry I gathered my strenght, and broke through my paralyzed state. I immediately rushed through the Obel Ruins slashing ever so fiercely at all the creatures that came at me. At the same time I ran through the maze-like corridors, and yelled for Kika. It wasn't long before I found her fighting the Angel Hairball. Though I was pretty wounded through my recklessness in getting here I didn't hesitate to join her. We looked at each other, and without word we danced our blades beautifully as we combined our strikes against the unfortunate creature. Yet, it not die, and in it's rage it unleashed a lightning spell at us. The searing bolts tore along the ground, and pierced through the both of us. I was blasted against a wall, and my blades fell away from me. I instantly looked for Kika, and found her laying severely wounded next to the beast. It was about to release it's final attack against her, and my heart stopped momentarily. I stood up, and let loose Eternal Ordeal three times consecutively from the Rune of Punishment until the Angel Hairball died. I collasped afterward, but was still conscious. Though, I was ready to die.

A little later I was rolled over, and Kika's concerned face was above me. All my motivation, and will to live was instantly restored. I smiled at her. "Hey gorgeous..." She slapped me. "You idiot! You knew better then to cast that spell so many times in your state." She took me in her slim arms, and then kissed me never more passionately. It was deep, and told all that was left unsaid.
