Chapter Three
Kingdom Hearts
Playing by the Rules
Note: Due to some confusion and in my opinion complete idiocy, I would like to make it clear that the OC in this fic is NOT ME. She's a fictional character; if you don't like the idea of an original character not based in reality at all; then I'd suggest you leave now.
Second Note: I’ve decided to continue posting for various reasons, partly because I’m still playing around with an odd relationship two of my characters have. Sorry that stream of consciousness is so hard to read, but it was the only way to write the story in a way that makes sense, in a sense of style. It’s also probably one of the reasons Analiese’s actions are so confusing (which they’re supposed to be; she’s not quite right in the head. I need to work on characterizing that aspect, I suppose.)
Pairings: Ansem/OC
Disclaimer: The cast of Kingdom Hearts belongs to Square-Enix/Disney, not me. I only exhibit them for non-profit entertainment.
Chapter Three
He had gone again, despite those sarcastically tender moments they shared. There was nothing sexual in nature about them, at least that was what she told herself. She found herself wondering if the boy that she had helped escape was safe, or if perhaps he was somewhere here as well. Though she doubted it, she could sense Ansem's presence, and they were alone together in this dreary world. He had called it the end of the world, which was a good name for it. It was the end of the world for them, their last sanctuary.
If she hadn’t been so fucking confused about the man, wondering why he didn’t tear off her clothes and rape her; and wondering why she wanted him to do just that. She wouldn’t admit, couldn’t admit that she wanted him to fuck her.
Ansem came up behind her, putting a hand to her shoulder. He had changed in the time she had known him. He had been rather scary, but no more. His personality had changed when their Hearts had intertwined without sex. He was gentle now, no longer that fiend that desired power. Or control. Or sex. He held her like a child with a small animal. He cradled her now; she hated to respond to him, so she often said nothing to him, which in most cases was answer enough.
"Analiese," he said, "this world... do you detest it? I can always let you go," he whispered. He had been thinking again, he usually became sullen after they spent time apart, thinking of how to left her go, what to do when she left his formless spirit. He had had form with the cloak. It was not the form he needed to live; it was just a way to punish the girl. He didn’t know if he loved her or not, didn’t know what sex had to do with anything anymore. The physical attraction may just have been their connection, “I can always let you go,” he repeated.
She was silent for a moment and then said slowly, “Is there any place else in the ‘end of the world?’ Or is it simply this room?” She put her own hand to his, tugging it in such a way as to urge him to lean over. They kissed, anxious and prolonged,
“There are other places to go,” Ansem said after a while. “I could take you wherever you wish. You can do as you wish.”
Those words proved to be too much. She gripped him by the shoulders, pulling him over her and onto the bed. “Analiese!” Ansem made to get off of her, but she quickly pushed him back onto her. She pulled her shirt off, tearing off his clothes so their skin touched. “Can’t… stand it…” he murmured.
Analiese was tired of the pain they had in their hearts; this ache was becoming agony. They pulled the rest of their clothes off, briefly pulling off each other, then latching back together. “Are you sure?” Ansem asked. She pulled him closer in response. He lay a hand on her breast, massaging it as a slight blush crossed his face. “Why do you do this?” he said suddenly, lying next to her heavily.
“Why do you?” said Analiese. “Why don’t you fuck me?”
At that, Ansem swiftly got from the bed, staring down at her, his eyes narrowed. He didn’t reply to her, at least in words. Not right away. He gave her a calculating look, something masking the concern that he must have had. “Do you really want me to?” he said. The harsh timbre of his voice made the girl jump. With a sudden cruel strength, he shoved her into the bed, digging into her soft flesh. “Do you want me to take you like that, cruel and without pleasure? Oh, I could do so much to that body of yours. Rip apart that fucking womb, would you enjoy that?” His orange eyes were a fiery hue.
Analiese eyes widened in terror. Some scattered cracks of a shriek got lodged in her throat, causing her to gasp for breath. He had been so placid before. All she could do was stare. She got enough strength back to pull herself into a ball, scratching into her skull. “No, no, no,” she murmured vaguely. “He said this was my destiny. Stop it. No, no,” she chattered. “Stop it.” After a moment, the young woman became aware of what she was saying, and swiftly sat up, her chest still naked, even as she tried her best to cove up.
“You’re as mad as I am,” said Ansem. There was no humor in his voice, on an aghast horror. “Is this the ‘darkness of our hearts?’” he said hoarsely. “I’ve made you like me,” he said softly.
Like she had brought forth something that had not previously existed before, so had he. “I’m not crazy. Just go ahead and fuck me. I’m mad,” Analiese mumbled, rubbing her face with a fist. Both of them were quite naked; that was one thing that she knew. It was reason enough to try and convince this man to sleep with her. Why hadn’t he already? Thoughts swam through her mind that she had never before been aware of. When she regained her composure, she launched herself at Ansem.
“What will this prove?” the man shouted at her.
“What does it matter?” she replied, jerking her hips so they barely touched. Ansem suddenly latched on to her arms, pushing her onto the bed again, and jerked himself inside of her, letting out a noise halfway between and moan and a howl. He began to move, somewhat rhythmically,
Again, Analiese tried to pull away from him, alarmed by the sound. “No!” Ansem growled, pushing inside of her with twitchy thrusts; rather unorganized and inexperienced. In spite of herself, she moaned, wrapping her arms around the other’s shoulders. She let herself melt, barely aware at the sounds they were both making.
“Ahh… Analiese…”
Those words of the sage echoed back to her, almost mockingly. “Your destiny will be revealed,” they said. Was she really destined to become this? She gripped the man’s shoulders in pain, moaning out her lover’s name.
Both let out a low cry, unheard by anyone, themselves included. For a long time, both were silent except for the quick panting breaths they each took.
“Is this… the darkness of our hearts?” Ansem said finally.
“Doesn’t matter,” said Analiese. “Do you think it matters? No, no,” she muttered. She looked like she was going to start to cry again. She touched at her chest, and then to her head, massaging it as though she had a headache. She muttered something that neither of them quite caught, but the statement hung in the air for a moment, awkwardly as if some insightful premonition had just been made.
As if reading from a story, the young woman began to murmur to herself, keeping the meaning of her words vague. “When the Heartless came, everything changed,” she said quietly, “I was alone. And then there was you. Now I am not alone, but I am still alone.”
“I’m not following you.”
“If we share a body and our Hearts, why does this place feel so dreary?” some sense had returned to the girl because she had stopped speaking in the demented rant she had a few minutes prior. “It feels more like a parasite feeding off the host’s body, but we are both the parasites.”
Save the boy and your destiny will be revealed.
