Tainted Eyes: part IV: Tears
Kairi couldn't sleep that night. She shifted in bed and stared at the unfamiliar ceiling. It was comfortable, but it was a prison. And everything in this prison of a room was deep red. It wasn't the bright, cheerful red of Sora's room... but a deeper red... a color that spoke more of passion than blood. She had lit some candles in the room before she got into the large bed. Otherwise, it would have been pitch black. Then again, there was a faint light coming from under the door that led to Selphie's room. The poor girl probably decided to sleep with her lights on.
Kairi let her mind drift, but soon she found that she couldn't get her mind off of Livion. Those dark eyes had burned through her with the coldest stare she'd ever seen. So cold... but it burned. And his words... they were still reaching into her heart. But what she really couldn't forget was his kiss... and his hands on her. Sometimes she felt as though she could still feel his cold hands and lips on her. And for an instant in her lonely state she wished that someone would touch her that way. Someone who wasn't so evil.... But then again, did it really matter in her fantasies? Hadn't she often wondered what it would be like to have thes ons on the island take her? Kairi knew that there were many times she wanted to be wanted. And now was one of them, because she wanted to know people were thinking about her. REALLY thinking about her.
Kairi.... came the whisper in her mind. Kairi....
She shut her eyes to block out the voice. She tried to convince herself that it was a dream. But she knew this was more. When she opened her eyes she could no longer see the light under the door to Selphie's room or the candle light in her own room. All she saw was darkness. She wanted to scream, but she found herself choked. It was as if the darkness itself was reaching down her throat.
Kairi, relax. Let me into your heart, came the voice from the darkness in her mind. It was familiar. Deep. Smooth. Eerie. It was Livion.
Give in to me Kairi, whispered Livion. But Kairi knew better. Did he honestly think she would go to him with just a call? Livion was holding them against their will! And he had Sora beat up and Riku tied up somewhere. Of course she wouldn't go! She lied there in the darkness that was clouding her, and laughed to herself. Livion was foolish indeed if he thought she would be so easily swayed.
She just kept still there. She knew it was all in her head, yet she couldn't think of a way out of it. She pondered why some people would love evil so much. But when she thought hard about it, she realized that she had wondered what it would be like to be a little darker. She wondered what it would be like to be a rebel, to have boys all over her, to drink or smoke, to do whatever she wanted... to fuck. Sex is one thing she thought about a lot lately, wasn't it? She imagined herself in all black, with tight clothes that showed off too much. Fishnet stockings... heels... she could go on and on. But wait...! Kairi shook her head gently. Livion wanted to bring out these feelings in her. These thoughts could be dangerous.

Sora woke up the next morning, not knowing the time of day or how long he slept. There was no way to keep track of time here, especially since there were no clocks or windows to judge how high the sun hovered in the sky. He was covered in sweat from chains of bad dreams, and although he didn't like this place, he was glad to see that the dreamworlds were falling away and being replaced with this reality. It was dismal and dark, but it was still reality. He slipped out of bed and walked into the bathroom. He wanted a shower... he needed a shower. He needed to wash off the dirt from the dungeon and the blood from his attack and the sweat from his dreams. He would take what he was given now... this so called "hospitality." But when everyone woke up, they would plan more ways to find Riku and escape.
When he walked into the bathroom he saw the sunlight pouring through the tall windows. It was probably around noon. He heard the water running in one of the fancy marble stalls and was more than happy to know that someone was in there. It was a life, a friend, company. He stood in front of the glass door that led to the shower stall. That door, and a curtain behind it stood between him and this person.
"Hello?" he spoke softly, so he didn't scare the person.
It was silent for a moment, but then Sora heard some movement. The curtain was pushed aside, but Sora couldn't quite see the person through the dense steam on the glass. But the person's hand lifted and brushed away the moisture on the fogged up window so that Sora could see a tired face. And before it fogged up again Sora saw the flash of sea-green that he had known since he was young.
"Riku?!" Sora exclaimed. "Is that you?!" But before he got an answerflunflung the glass door open and made his way into the shower stall. The older teen stood before him, an eyebrow raised. But that expression faded, and he turned away before Sora could focus through the steam.
"Ever heard of privacy?" Riku asked calmly... teasing in his own way. He stood with his back toward Sora, his head resting against the tile wall of the shower.
"Riku, I'm so glad you're okay!"
"How are you? And the others? I saw that you were hurt...."
"I'm fine! They sent someone to check on me last night. And the rooms are pretty comfortable. But, you know, it's still like a prison. Everyone is homesick."
"Yea, me too...."
"Riku... what's wrong? What did they do to you?" asked Sora, realizing that Riku wouldn't look at him. At first he thought it was because he had barged into the shower. But it was something else. Riku was hiding something.
"I'm fine, Sora. I'll be out in a minute. Could you wait outside?" Riku spoke calmly, the hot water running over his body. Sora couldn't help but watch the liquid slide over his friend's muscles... down his strong shoulders and back and....
"Sora, please?" Riku asked more sternly.
"Riku," Sora approached slowly, "Look at me for a minute." He placed a hand on Riku's shoulder and felt how tense his friend was as he slowly but firmly made him turn around.
"Pervert..." Riku muttered. But he allowed Sora to move him, and he turned to look at his worried friend. His eyes already showed concern for what Sorght ght see, and he saw Sora's eyes widen at the sight of him.
"Oh no. What did he do to you?!" Sora yelled in horror, staring at Riku's upper chest.
"He gets a kick out of blood, Sora. But don't worry... it doesn't hurt much now." Riku's eyes were softer now, and his voice was relaxing. He was angelic at this moment. Sora knew that many people didn't know what to make of Riku. He had the capacity to be both angel or demon. But Sora knew that Riku's heart was pure and strong... and Riku's words soothed him just a little.
"How long did this take?" Sora asked softly.
"About an hour, I'm guessing."
"You're so calm."
"Why wouldn't I be? You guys are okay."
Sora just shook his head, feeling far from okay. "Umm..." he said, backing away. "I'll... I'll wait for you outside. I need a shower too."
And so he left for another shower stall. No longer able to look at Riku's hurt body. No longer able to look at the word carved into Riku's chest...
...the name "Livion."
When Sora returned to his room, cleaner and a little calmer, he found both side doors open. Actually, all the side doors were open straight through to Kairi's room on the far end. But now the other door in his room was open... one of the mystery doors. And it led to a room decorated with white and silver. Riku sat on the bed wearing white kakhis and a white cotton shirt with the other four teens sitting around him.
"So this is your room, Riku?" Selphie asked. "It's pretty! It's too bad we can't have these rooms at home without the evil people around us. My room here is gold!"
"You're such a romantic, Selphie," teased Wakka. "We got betta things to worry about."
"Did you see how many guys they have here, Riku?" asked Tidus, as he ate a sandwich. "Well hey, the food here isn't poison."
"And did you see a way out?" asked Sora as he walked in to join them. "Hey, you only have one side door, and it leads to my room. Maybe this means that the mystery door in Kairi's room leads to another bedroom or something. See Kairi, it's nothing to be worried about." But when he turned to Kairi he found her caught in a distant gaze.
"Vi..." she muttered softly. "Io...."
"Kairi?" Riku asked as he knelt in front of her. "What's wrong?"
"Vi... ivi... li...."
"What's she sayin'?" asked Wakka.
"Li.. ivi.... Li... on...."
The others all felt dread inside as she sat there in stared into space. They knew what she was muttering now.
"Livion...." she whispered softly.
"No," Riku said as he shook her. "Kairi, look at me! Livion isn't here. You're safe with us."
And something seemed to stir in Kairi slowly. "Riku?" she asked. "Oh Riku... we were talking about escaping, weren't we?" Her blue eyes were normal once more. Not dark and distant.
"Yea. That's it," Riku replied witnod.nod. "Any ideas?" He was making sure she stayed connected with them.
"No, not yet," she said with a spunky smile. "But I'm thinking!"
"Good," Riku replied before sitting on the bed as if nothinppenppened. But he gave Selpie a split second glance that seemed to ask as if anything had happened to Kairi. Selpie's gaze replied that she hadn't seen anything. She even looked through the open doors and shrugged a little to indicate that she hadn't seen or heard anything strange coming from Kairi's room. Sora marveled at how he and his friends could commute wte with each other.
"And I didn't see anything that would help us get away. I didn't see a good way out," continued Riku, to mask his concern for Kairi.
"Then what do we do?" asked Tidus. "I mean, it's pretty obvious that we can't stay here. And I'm getting edgy, ya know?"
"Don't worry. We're all okay, and we'll keep an eye out. I'll take a look around next time I leave my room," replied Riku with a confident smile.
"Next time you leave?" asked Sora with questioning eyes. "You mean, next time they take you?"
They all sat in silence at Sora's remark, feeling uneasy at the realization that Riku had been gone the longest.
"You never told us where you were, Riku," remarked Selphie, trying to break the silence. "So, are they taking us in some kind of order? What did they show you?"
Sora could only swallow hard and lower his eyes. He couldn't get the images of Riku's bloody cuts out of his mind. None of the others knew about those cuts. They didn't know that Livion had carved his name into Riku. Then Sora lifted his eyes to look at the calm and collected Riku once more. The pain must still be unbearable. It had to hurt him now. How did he act so calm about it?
"There is no order," Riku stated plainly. "It's not like that. And... I didn't really see anything."
"So you don't know why we're here?" asked Wakka.
"Well..." they could all see Riku searching for an answer. "Well... I have an idea. It's complicated." He smirked. "That's not a very satisfying answer is it?"
And then his smile faded. But it didn't just fade... it disappeared so quickly that Sora knew he had to have been using it as a mask.
"Riku!" exclaimed Kairi, pointing to his shirt as she sat there hugging her knees. She looked at him with utter terror on her now pale face.
And they all looked down to see the blood seeping through his shirt. Livion's name was carved so deep into Riku's chest that the blood burst out in full force once more. Riku calmly stood up and walked to the large closet to look for another shirt.
"So all my clothes are white?" he muttered as he passed his hands through the fabric.
"Um... All... All the clothes in my closet are red. I'll get you something...." Sora replied, trying to sound calm. He walked into his room and found a red shirt and sweatshirt for Riku to wear, and returned with them in a flash. He tossed them over to his smiling friend.
"Hey, thanks," smiled Riku. "Red on red won't look as bad."
But he couldn't relax the others now. Especially Sora. Sora couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it was for Riku to have gone through that, only to return to try to cheer all of them uIt dIt didn't seem fair for Riku. And as he watched Riku slip the new shirt on he felt sick with new realizations. He turned to Kairi quickly, his eyes searching her.
Kairi only shook her head. "He didn't do anything like that to me."
"No, just me," Riku said softly.
"Why the hell did he do that?!" yelled Tidus. "Hey! Hey you!" Tidus yelled at the screen in the room, even though he assumed it didn't work that way.
"Will he do that to all of us?" asked Selphie. "You have to tell us SOMETHING, Riku."
"He wants... to corrupt...." Kairi whispered slowly. Her eyes were distant and dark again. It was so eerie that it silenced the others. But soon she was back again. "I must need sleep guys. I'm sorry." And so she ran back to her room and shut the door.
It was all happening so fast that Sora could hardly let anything sink in.
"I need to sleep also," Riku said, smiling slightly. "I'll talk to you guys more later. But I need a nap or something."
"A NAP?!" exclaimed Sora. "You don't nap!"
"I didn't get much sleep last night."
"But--" began Sora, but he was cut off when the door leading from his room to the hallway was flung open. Three extremely large men entered. Sora had never seen Riku move faster than at this very moment, for he was now standing in front of Sora. The men only stared at Riku.
"What's going on?!" yelled Sora.
And then Riku moved forward to join them. "I'll be back," he said, shooting a glance to Sora. "I promise."
"No!" cried the other teens as they lunged forward.
"STOP!" Riku yelled. "Just trust me! Or they'll kill us all one by one! Then they'll go back to the island and take someone else!"
The other teens stopped, not knowing what to do. Everyone was so conflicted, and then Riku was pulled away from them again to make things worse. And the door was once again locked.
"THAT'S IT!" cried Sora. "We'll make Riku tell us everything when he returns! And then, no mr whr what, we're going to try to make our escape! We'll do it together!"
~~~~~~~~~~
A few hours had passed, but Kairi hardly noticed. She just sat there in the darkness of her room. She didn't bother with the candles anymore, because Livion always replaced them with darkness in her mind. Selphie came to check on her from time to time, trying to engage her mind and talk like they always did. Kairi liked the company, but was afraid of showing the others this darkness she always saw now.
What frightened her even more was the fact that the darkness was getting comfortable for her. It was the same way people felt comfortable in their depressed states. It was because it allowed her to accept things around her in an odd way. She could accept the darkness and not be afraid because there was nothing she could do about it either way. She thought there was a sort of peace in that... or was she just telling herself that?
She could hear the others yelling and discussing their plans a few rooms down. Didn't they know that Livion could probably hear them? Livion could enter their minnd snd shroud them in darkness if he wanted. So why was he just clouding HER mind?
More hours passed, more visits from the others, more of her convincing them she was just uneasy and scared and homesick. But what really made her uneasy was the way that she was actually waiting for night to fall.
~~~~~~~~~~
Riku found himself in Livion's dimly lit room again.
"Did you enjoy your shower? I'm sorry I didn't give you much time to rest," grinned Livion. "I expected your brown-haired friend Sora to be here instead."
Riku rolled his eyes and sighed deeply. "Did you have more to carve into me? If so let's get on with it. You said that my friends didn't ever have to see you."
"Not for the time being," Livion smirked as he pointed to his bed. "Sit down there. And I said that they didn't have to see me as long as you stepped forward to take their places."
Riku walked over and sat down. This was the bed that Livion tied him too as he carved his name into Riku's chest.
"But you will provide me with some entertainment anyway," Livion said as he sat down in a chair and pushed a button on a nearby table.
Two large men walked in, botry try tall and muscular. Riku blinked and watched them with calm, but cautious eyes. He half wondered if they would cut their names into him as they approached him and stood next to him, towering over him. They looked to Livion for a brief moment.
Livion only smirked, and then let his empty gaze meet Riku's calm, determined eyes. "I want screaming... and blood," he said to the other men, not moving his gaze from Riku's.
Riku opened his mouth to question Livion when he was suddenly punched in the stomach. He doubled over, trying to catch his breath, but soon one of the men grabbed him by his silver hair and forced him upright again. These men had unbelievable strength... but how? It was TOO much... it wasn't human. But he had no time to question things further as he was thrown to the floor. The men fell upon him like hungry rats, ripping and tearing at his clothes. They were too strong for him, and his struggles were futile as he tried to fight them. One of the men punched him to weaken his attack. His body went limp for a moment as they stripped off his clothes, but he soon got his second wind and was attempting to throw punches of his own. He landed many of them, but the men seemed as though they were made of steel.
Livion slid a small jar over to the men as he smirked mockingly at Riku. "Let's just take his pride, shall we? Those clean, determined eyes are getting bothersome. Besides, if we hurt him too much we won't be able to play again later."
One of the men obeyed and took the jar. Riku's angry attack turned into pure, fiery rage as he watched the men take off their own clothes one at a time. One held him firm, and the other undressed, and then they switched. They opened the jar and smoothed the clear slippery liquid over their mammoth cocks, which were now exposed, and were already erect and threatening.
"NO!" yelled Riku as he tried to lift his arms to throw what he could at them. "Is this what you do, Livion?! Is this all we're here for?! ANSWER ME!"
Livion only smiled as one of the men kneeled down and pulled Riku closer to him, causing the teen's back to rub cruelly against the hard floor as he was made to straddle the large man. In a fury Riku tried to rise again, his whole body aching from trying to leave a dent in these men. But the second man sat behind his head and held his arms immobile. The first man rubbed more of the liquid into himself, smiling like a madman to his prey. Riku was still struggling, and he turned his head to shoot a still-determined, very pissed glare at Livion.
And then he felt the man at his entrance, rubbing a thick, menacing member against it. And he looked up at the man in complete disbelief, as if he couldn't even comprehend what was happening. Against his will, his sea-green eyes held the innocence he was trying to hide from them all this time. But the man only smiled insanely as he thrust forward, causing Riku's whole body to jolt and weaken as the head of the large man's cock entered his anus. Riku only had enough strength to hold in a scream that ran through his entire body, and his back arched off the ground. The man tried to push himself inside, grabbing Riku's waist and forcing the teen onto his cock. Riku inhaled sharply, almost forgetting how to breathe as he was impaled. Tears started to run down the sides of his face and every muscle in his body tensed harder than they ever had before. And when the man found that his pushing and pulling made little progress, he thrust hard and fast into the teen.
And now, Riku was bleeding. And now, Riku's screams filled the air.
"Let us remind Riku that fighting us is not allowed," laughed Livion. "If he fights us his friends suffer as well!"
And as if that were the signal, the second man who was still sitting behind Riku's head placed his knees on the teen's wrists to hold him immobile. He sat facing the other man, watching the merciless rape. The rapist slowed his thrusts just enough to allow the second man to force his cock into Riku's open mouth as he screamed. The teen gagged and chocked, crying more tears than he knew he could hold.
And then he passed out. Spared from watching the men as they continued to use his body until they burst inside of him. Spared from hearing Livion say that this was still only the beginning. Spared from hearing him joke about how it would take hours next time.
And when he woke up again, he would find himself in his room that very night while the others were asleep. And he cried. He had never cried so hard before. But he cried alone, because he had to be strong for his friends. He would cry all the tears now so they would never know.

A few hours had passed, but Kairi hardly noticed. She just sat there in the darkness of her room. She didn't bother with the candles anymore, because Livion always replaced them with darkness in her mind. Selphie came to check on her from time to time, trying to engage her mind and talk like they always did. Kairi liked the company, but was afraid of showing the others this darkness she always saw now.
What frightened her even more was the fact that the darkness was getting comfortable for her. It was the same way people felt comfortable in their depressed states. It was because it allowed her to accept things around her in an odd way. She could accept the darkness and not be afraid because there was nothing she could do about it either way. She thought there was a sort of peace in that... or was she just telling herself that?
She could hear the others yelling and discussing their plans a few rooms down. Didn't they know that Livion could probably hear them? Livion could enter their minnd snd shroud them in darkness if he wanted. So why was he just clouding HER mind?
More hours passed, more visits from the others, more of her convincing them she was just uneasy and scared and homesick. But what really made her uneasy was the way that she was actually waiting for night to fall.
