After the death of Ashra by the hands of the shoalin monk Liu Kang, members of my team felt alittle uneasy. They had fought beside Liu and now they need to fight one of the most powerful people in all the realms. Raiden was enjoying his first victory. I saw him sitting next to Kabal and Kobra laughing and snickering as Liu made his way back to their fighting line. I thought to myself that this was alittle un nerving myself. I looked over my shoulder again and saw Li Mei with her eyes wide opened and her hands grasped together tightly against her chest. I couldn't put it off anymore. Li Mei was so full of spirit, and now she is acting so weird... I know that her soul was transfered into Onaga's dragon army and it took alot out of her... but this is to weird. She was a spit fire in reality that actually took on the Deadly Alliance alone... such as Raiden did.

I walked over to her and tapped her on her shoulder. She immediatly looked up into my old eyes and she tried her best to smile. Little by little I sensed Onaga's presence within her. " Li... are you gonna be ok? If not you can stay out of this fight. " I asked very concerned. Li looked back at what remained of Ashra and sighed. I didn't need to know the answer to that question. "Ok then. I will fight in your place. You don't need to fight until tomorrow. " I said. Li put her head down in shame as I walked away and stood next to Scorpion. Me and Scorpion never really got along but the one thing we had in common was the fact that we respected Liu Kang and Raiden. And when Raiden went along and ressurected the Shoalin Monk to Kombat us we felt a furry burn inside us. " Scorpion. Would you be willing to go next? " I asked. Before he could answer I felt something that resembled a steel fan. I knew immediatly it was Kitana. " No. I will go next. Scorpion you can wait. " Kitana said rather pissed off. I knew all to well what happends when you piss off a princess... even one as kind as Kitana... you will go through hell.

I nodded my head and turned to her. " I hope you know that this is for keeps...? You might die. " I tried to warn her but to no avail. She ran into the middle of the courtyard and got her steel fans expanded out. She stood ready, eager to fight even Raiden himself. As quickly as she came in Gogo decided to step in. He had unfinished business with the princess of Edenia. Kitana knew she would fight Goro. I knew that she figured if Goro was taken out then our problems would be cut by a 4th, leaving Raiden and Liu as our only problem. Goro stretched his arms out and towered over Kitana. She looked so helpless compaired to him, but don't let her size fool you... she is quiet deadly. Raiden laughed and yelled out the word that we all love to hear. " Fight! "

With that Kitana slashed her fans all over Goro. I watched with a smile as she made large slashes and deep cuts all throughout his muscular dragon like skin. Goro tried to punch her or atleast stop the fans but Kitana was to quick. Raiden started to realize that Kitana might actually beat Goro, so he smirked as he summoned another lightning bolt to hit Kitana's steel fans out of her hand. " Raiden what the hell? You can't do that you bastard! " Sonya and Jax yelled. Raiden got mad real fast as more lightning bolts hit around them. " I warned you all. There are no rules. " he said. Kitana was still battleing on however. She kept punching and kicking and dodging. She kept beating Goro back and back. It looked liked she was actually going to win. Every time Goro tried to grab her or punch her it always missed, she was just to damn fast for him. When I looked over at Raiden the look on his face was priceless. He looked as though he had long his favorite toy.

Kitana battled hard untill they finally got to the edge of the courtyard. The lightning spikes still stood tall and ready to pierce anyone who would dare fall on them. It didn't take long for Goro to realize that he was in deep trouble. Just when Kitana was about to kick his face, he managed to finally grab her. Everyone one of the faces on my team when from happy to horror as soon as her foot was caught. Kitana tried to side kick his head but Goro caught her again. He lifted both her legs up and she hit her head hard on the stone floor. Goro laughed as he lifted her all the way up so that her face was square with his, while she was still upside down. Then Goro attacked. He used his other two arms the keep punching Kitana while he held on to her. I watched as Kitana's chance of winning deminsh with each blow she took. Kitana managed to block a punch and found and opening and hit him square in the face. Goro stumbled alittle and threw Kitana back to the middle of the courtyard. She hit with a thud and we all heard a loud snap come from where she landed. She landed wrong and he arm from what I could tell was broken. " Shit, thats her striking arm isn't it?" I asked as I walked over to Sub-Zero. He nodded.

Goro walked mythotically to Kitana. She was still on the ground holding her broken arm. I noticed that Sub-Zero was getting angry I could see a weird blue light glowing from him too. The others didn't notice. Kitana somehow managed to get to her feet by the time Goro made it to her. Even with a broken arm she got into her fighting stance. Goro just laughed at her febel attempt to still want to fight. She is not a quiter... she will not go down without a fight. Kitana struck Goro in his face but her other arm was to weak. She then tried to kick his face but he was to tall, but she managed to kick his chest. Goro's eyes went wide with pain as she kicked an open wound on his chest from her steel fans. She kept kicking and kicking with combos all over him. Goro fell down to a knee which gave Kitana acsess to kick his face. She connected and Goro fell down.

Kitana knew full well the only way to win was to kill your enemy. She walked to where her steel fans laid and she picked one up. When she turned around Goro was already standing up. " Looks like your time is up " Kitana said as she threw the fan. It hit Goro... or so she thought. Goro laughed when he revieled that he caught the blade before it hit. " You were saying my dear dead princess? " He threw it back at her and it sliced her good arm alittle. Now both of her arms are virtually useless. Goro walked over to Kitana who was now on the ground in pain. Kitana knew that she could no longer fight anymore so she laid there helpless and just wanting it all to end. Goro pulled the steel fan out of Kitana's arm and she let out a shreak of pain.

Goro marvaled the blood covered fan for a while and then smiled. " This is the end! " he yelled and lefted the blade up. Right when he was about to slash her Goro felt a stining cold sensation just rip into him. He looked at the fan and saw that it was turned to ice. He then looked over at Sub-Zero, so did everyone else. When we all looked at Goro again he was completly covered in ice. Kitana slowly got back up and looked at Goro. She then backed off alittle and kicked him with all of her might. The ice covered Goro slowly broke into pieces and melted on the courtyard floor. Kitana looked at me and smiled then fell to the ground in pain again. Kenshi used his telekentic powers to levitate her over to us. Sub-Zero froze the cut on her arm to stop the bleeding. Kitana looked up at Sub-Zero as he knelt over her tending to her wounds. I smiled and figured out that Sub-Zero had a thing for her. And maybe it will help us win. I knelt down over Kitana and congradulated her. She really didn't even seem to care that she won. She was happy to be alive.

Sub-Zero looked at me and I saw he was blushing. Kitana saw it too. She used what was left in her cut arm to take off Sub-Zero's mask. She sat up and kissed him. He gladly kissed her back as Sonya, Li Mei, Jax, Kenshi, and Myself just clapped for her victory. It was a big win and we hurt Raiden's team real bad. The loss of Goro has gotten us a big advantage. Scorpion came over to me and tapped me on the shoulder. " I have got next fight. " I agreed and Scorpion walked onto the stone courtyard. With scorpion up next we can't loose. I hope.
