This is chapter 2... the first fight

My team was anxious to fight. I could see that the fire in their eyes made them stronger... and yet even with how confident they are I still couldn't take my mind of the suprize fighter. Raiden has changed and he has set out to kill us all. This tourniment was just a trap, and I was the only one that knew it. When the sun rized we all got ready. I noticed Li Mei was acting very weird, she had the same expression she had when Onaga was defeated.

We all walked into the temple of Liu Kang. I was willing to fight Raiden myself and end this quickly, but the new thunder god showed no mercy... by killing his friend Bo Ria Cho he insured that he wasn't playing around anymore and that he was sick of humans fuckin up earth realm. When we finally arrived we set out in a line. I told Sub-Zero and Kenshi to look behind us because we don't know what Raiden could do.

Just then we heard a loud crackle of thunder and there he stood. Raiden the god of thunder with his 8 other warriors all behind him. Raiden then pointed to the courtyard and we all walked over to it. "This is the spot we will fight at. The fight is to the death so dont even think of letting your opponite walk away... oh and if you even think of trying to run, don't" Raiden then zapped the border of the courtyard and formed lightning coated spikes. " The rules are simple... there are none. You fight untill you die. Today there are 4 rounds so 6 fighters from each team has to sit out. "

Then Ashra came up beside me and whispered something in my ear. "I think Li Mei should sit this one out... she is alittle off." I smiled at the thought but I wanted to pay attention to Raiden ramble on. " Also for each fight you pick the warrior Shujinko. Lets hurry up I wanna start." Raiden laughed. He then went behind the line of his fighters. I looked at my warriors and they all seemed ready. " All of you come here we need to talk. " They all formed around me. " Ok guys... I need to know now. We do not know who his first fighter is, so we don't know who we are up agains't. But knowing how much pride we all have..." they all smiled. " I need to know who wants to fight first and who wants to sit out? "

Automatically Sub-Zero, Jax, Sonya, Scorpion and Kitana all said they would. Then Ashra spoke out. " I will go first. I want to repay to debt to Shujinko for helping me get to Earthrealm. I also say that since Shujinko beat Onaga that he gets to sit this out and fight later. " I looked at her with a smile. Everyone agreed and we broke apart. Ashra then walked into the middle of the courtyard declairing she was first. Then Raiden reapeared. " Good the first person to die. PRODUCE MY FIGHTER!!! " he yelled. His warriors moved slowly out of the way and someone dressed in a black and red robe was presented. The fighter moved to the middle and showed his eyes. They were as white as a zombie and he had greenish flesh.

"Fight 1 begins now!" Raiden said as he walked back to his warriors and sat next to Kabal. Ashra quickly got into her fighting stance and waited for the man to take off his robe. I put 2 and 2 together and quickly figured out who Ashra was about to fight... and who she was about to die to. The man took his robe off the reveil himself... Liu Kang himself. Champion Of Mortal Kombat and Defender of EarthRealm revived. And just as fast as a bolt of lightning he attacked Ashra. He punched and kicked at her but she managed to block it all. She jumped up and tried her torpedo spin but Liu moved, and just when he did he punched Ashra in her stomic, sending her landing to the ground. Liu Kang didn't waste time. He moved with a demonic speed as he charged to Ashra and he kicked her. She flipped into the air and landed on her knees behind him. She started her offence as soon as she landed. She punch comboed while his back was still turned. Things seemed to be going Ashra's way untill she made her mistake. She stopped punching and jumped into the air and tried to kick Liu's head... but seeing as how he was faster then a normal person he quickly grabbed her leg and slammed her to the ground infront of him. Blood slowly started to come out of Ashra's mouth and nose as soon as she hit the ground, and yet she still tried to get up. Liu kicked her head and forced her to get back down. I tried my best not to interfer... or else if I did who knows what Raiden would do. Ashra jumped back up to her feet and tried once again to mount some offence by trying to kick Liu. Liu dodged them all. He then punched her in the face and backed away alittle. It was then I knew that Ashra was going to die... to repay me. Liu jumped into the air and made high pitched screaming sounds. I knew the move he was about to do... he after all taught it to me. " Bicycle kick..." I muttered. And when I said that Liu rapidly kicked at Ashra no stop. All I could see was Ashra in a bloody heap. Finally Liu stopped kicking and he landed back on the ground. Ashra was dazed, She was out of the fight... and she was about to lose her life. Liu formed fireballs at his hand and flipped away from Ashra. Then in one swift motion he sent the fire at her and it scortched her immediatly. When the fire stopped and Ashra let out a shreak of pain as she blew to pieces. Over in the other side of the court yard I heard Raiden say the words with great pleasure.

Yeah so I like Chapter 2 more then chapter 1. It will get better. Alot more fighting I forsee. And wtf is up with Li Mei?... We will find out soon.
