Chapter 15: Sweet Remorse


(30 minutes after Eggman’s Base Blew up)

“Why….why did he do it? That bastard…,” I smiled bitterly as I saw the smoke clear up from the explosion. I could see Tails crying in Shadow’s shoulder, who tried his best to comfort him. Espio and Knuckles are just standing their with their eyes toward the ground, murmuring curses. It happened so quickly…I could still see the look of anguish on Chaos’s face. It’s all my fault now that he’s…he’s….No! I refuse to accept it! He has to be alive! He must’ve escaped somehow! Without saying a word, I quietly left the guys to find Chaos.

I approached the gigantic smoldering crater which was Eggman’s base….The smell of burnt metal and oil caught my nose. I feared for the worse as I scanned the surroundings, hoping to find Chaos. Minutes turned to hours as I kept on looking for him. I heard the others call my name, telling me to stop. I ignored them and kept on.

It was night now. My whole body’s exhausted from looking, and finally decided that maybe Chaos….isn’t here anymore. “I hate you! Why did you have to die? Damn you Chaos! Why?!,” I screamed to no one as tears were streaming in tiny rivulets out of my eyes. I then felt a soft hand on my shoulder….I turned around and saw Knuckles and the others. “Sonic…I…I know it’s hard….please…please let it go….,” Knuckles choked, holding back tears. I cried on his chest…..

It’s been 2 weeks now…I finally accepted the fact that Chaos is gone. He may be a god…but even he was no match for the power of the Chaos Emeralds. Just thinking about him made me feel empty…I miss the way he feels...the way he touches me...the way he smells…his voice…his emerald green eyes. “That’s it! I can’t stand it anymore! I need to find something that reminds me of him!,” I shouted as I ran out the mall and headed towards Chaos’s building.

I arrived in his building, and was greeted warmly by the receptionist and the security guards. Chaos told them to welcome any of his friend’s who comes into his building. No one knows he’s gone except me and the others. I just told the rest of Chao’s staff that he went for a long vacation. After that quickly ran his office and into the kitchen. “Jackpot!,” I screamed happily as I grabbed a pink apron with the words “Adopt a chao” on it. I snuggled it up to my face and smelled it.

(Author’s note: Some people actually do this folks. They do this if they miss that particular person, be it in a girlfriend/boyfriend situation, or others. It’s a way to remember them by. ~_~)

Man, I miss him so much…If only I stayed to help him, he would still be alive today. I then went out of the kitchen when I tripped on something. “What the heck?,” I swore as I picked up a small brown envelope from the floor. I opened it and found a disc titled “Elevator action and The Cage.” I quickly ran to the dvd player and popped in the disc. As I’ve expected, I saw a scene of me, Knuckles and Shadow inside the cage in Eggman’s base….making out. “Who the hell took this video?!,” I thought shockingly. What’s even stranger was there the other video….of Espio and Chaos making out inside an elevator. “W…What the is this?!,” I said as I starred at the video. It wasn’t long before I found myself stroking my cock.

I looked at the video and I could see Espio’s cock go in and out of Chaos’s ass. “Oh how I wish I was the one doing the fucking….,” I moaned as I stroked myself harder. “Oooooh…Ahhhh…Chaosssss….,” I cried in ecstasy as I inserted a finger inside my ass and began a rhythm, imitating a piston. ( Dark clouds were gathering over the remnants over Eggman’s Base. Amongst the rubble, a faint light can be seen pulsating, like that of a tortured beast. A scream can be heard as lightning flashed as the remains of the base exploded in a red surge of energy. As the energy cleared up, a metallic looking form with a flaring cape can be seen holding a red Chaos Emerald…..It’s eyes glowed a bloody red as it walked up to a steep looking platform, and raised it’s eyes to the sky…..

It laughed bitterly…half of victory and half of horror as the clouds covered the sky and rain started to pour….

Metal Sonic Mk. II inserted the Chaos Emerald in his chest and started walking towards Station Square, with a look that could make Eggman run for his very life….)

(Author’s note: Metal Sonic Mk. II is Metal Sonic’s second form in Sonic Heroes! He’s the one you see all over the game impersonating Eggman.)

CC13: Hey Sonic!

Sonic: Hi! Chaos isn’t here because he’s currently locked himself up inside his office.

CC13: Why couldn’t you go inside and fetch him?

Sonic: He has the anti-paparazzi chain guns on….even I couldn‘t dodge that many chain-guns…-_-

CC13: Well don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll miss you in about an hour or two.

Sonic: Yeah…well see ya!

(Sonic walks off)
