Chapter 13
Day…
(lime-ish)
The party arrived in the seaside paradise a few days later. The morning air off the sea was fresh and inviting, warm, with fragrant tropical breezes. “Why don’t you three go ahead and check in?” Raine suggested. “Presea and I will see if the others are here.”
“Chance of success 70% and rising,” murmured the pink-haired girl, with just the beginnings of her smile.
“Sure thing, professor! Let’s go, girls!” Lloyd grabbed their luggage and lead the way up the entrance to the Hotel Lezareno. Behind them, however, Raine winked at Presea.
“Checking in, sir? What is your name?” asked the desk girl.
“Lloyd Irving.”
“Ah, Mr. Irving, we’ve been expecting you.”
“You have?” the boy replied cluelessly.
“Of course. And your companions Sheena Fujibayashi and Colette Brunel. Hmm, I see,” she said with a smirk. “It seems the three of you have been booked the Honeymoon Suite.”
“The WHAT?” the three teens said together.
“Raine,” Lloyd cringed.
“Zelos,” Sheena averred darkly.
“Regal?” Colette whimpered.
“Is there a problem?” the clerk asked.
“N-no! No problem at all,” Lloyd said, grabbing the hands of his girlfriends and squeezing. “Right, ladies?” With blushes, they both assured the girl that no, nothing was wrong.
“Very good, then. Mimir, take their bags, please. Have fun, you three!” she said, handing them their keys and calling the bellhop who dutifully loaded their luggage onto a cart and into the elevator to take them straight to the fifth floor.
“Oh, I guess we tip you,” Lloyd said as he reached into his pockets.
“No need, sir, the gratuity has already been taken care of by the paying party.”
“Yeah, and who would that be?” Sheena demanded, still in a slight huff.
“I can’t say just yet,” the man replied with a grin. “That would spoil the surprise. Here we are, top floor, the Honeymoon Suite.”
He unlocked the door and ushered them in to one of the most sumptuously furnished apartments they had ever seen, even better than the VIP suite across the hall that they had stayed in before; the drawing room nearly matched Zelos’s townhouse in Meltokio for elegance. A fully-stocked bar; a breakfast set out on the veranda with a lovely fruit basket on the table; a dumbwaiter that confounded Lloyd and Colette; a bathing room with towels so fluffy they looked like clouds; and, near large open windows and underneath a skylight, positioned to catch the evening ocean breezes, the furniture they all avoided looking at so intently it might as well have been on fire: the king-size four-poster bed with gauzy curtains and the turned-down sheets strewn with wildflower petals.
“If there is anything you require, do not hesitate to let any member of the staff know. Please enjoy your stay with us,” Mimir said as he left them to their room.
Sheena led them out to the breakfast area. Colette started slicing the pineapple as the ninja girl opened the two cards on the fruit basket. One was from the hotel staff. The other, though…
“‘Have fun and don’t worry about a thing; this vacation is our gift to you. Love and support always, Raine, Genis, Zelos, Presea, Regal, and Kratos’. In other words, we’ve been had.”
“Kratos? Dad? Oh man…” Lloyd murmured.
Colette just passed around the ripe juicy pineapple. “Oh well. They would have found out sooner or later, right?”
“I guess so,” Sheena replied. “Fine, whatever. After breakfast let’s just get out and enjoy the sun.”
Once they had sampled the fruit and cheese, they decided to put on their swimsuits and hit the beach. Lloyd was exiled to the bed area as the girls took the bathroom.
The two of them stripped, and Colette stood biting her lip and once again entranced by her girlfriend’s beautiful body. “Sh-Sh-Sheena?” the blonde squeaked.
“What’s wrong, hun?” the ninja girl asked. Her answer was a fierce hug.
“I think…it will be tonight,” Colette whispered.
Sheena’s heart immediately started pounding in her chest. Not only was this beautiful girl holding her tight while the two of them were completely bare, but now was telling her she was ready for more? “Are you SURE, honey?” she asked in the same hushed tones. Colette looked up at her and nodded. Sheena smiled and pulled her in for a slow kiss. Her hands drifted down Colette’s back, teasing her, squeezing her cute little bottom. “We both love you so much. Like we promised, nothing you aren’t ready for.”
“I know.” Colette turned her head and pressed her cheek to Sheena’s collarbone. “And I love you. Which is why tonight, I’m finally ready!”

They went down to the lobby carrying beach towels, Sheena also in her new sarong wrap since they planned on going to the theme park afterwards. For some reason the normally shy ninja girl seemed oblivious to the effect her swimsuit had on the entire male (and some of the female) population.
This was immediately proven. “Ah, Sheena! My beautiful bouncy beach bunny! How I have missed you!” Zelos enthused, sweeping her up into a hug. Sheena was surprised, but took it in stride, that is until his hands got adventurous.
SLAP!
“Idiot Chosen,” she muttered darkly, straightening her skirt. She somewhat spoiled the effect by sticking her tongue out at him, though, as she glomped onto Lloyd’s arm.
“And dearest angelic Colette, so good to see you as well,” the pink-haired knight said with a bow, taking her hand and kissing it. Colette blushed demurely and took Lloyd’s other arm.
“It’s nice to see you, too, Zelos,” the angel replied.
“You are one lucky guy,” Zelos told the boy with no small envy.
Lloyd smiled at each of the two beauties and said, “I am, aren’t I?”
Oh good, so he’s not completely oblivious. For a while I thought I was going to have to drag them all upstairs and demonstrate. Not that I’d mind that too much, the Chosen thought. “Well, let’s go! Plenty of chicks out there to impress!”
The rest of the morning was spent enjoying the sun and the waves and the company of friends who for too long had been scattered. They made sandcastles and split watermelons, swam, even tried surfing, although only Sheena and Regal seemed to get the hang of it. Colette and Sheena still remained blind to the attention they got, although when she took off her sarong, the black-haired girl did pummel Zelos again for whistling. And a third time for smacking her on the butt. Finally, after yet another lewd comment, she decided to turn the tables on him.
“Why, thank you, hunny. For such a compliment you deserve a reward.” And she kissed him on the cheek. The entire party was thus treated to a sight they had never seen: Zelos the ladykiller, looking dazed and blushing.
After a light lunch and some of those delicious umbrella drinks, the party separated. Lloyd, Sheena, and Colette boarded the Elemental Railway for the Amusement Park.
They played in the park for hours, doing all the rides several times and eating far too much junk food. Lloyd bought the girls balloon bouquets. They danced to a band from Meltokio playing oddly syncopated tunes on strange new magitechnology instruments, not caring in the least at the stares they got when the girls danced close and slow with one another.
The very best came last: as the sun started to go down into the waters, they climbed into the Ferris wheel for one last sweeping look at the whole resort. The three lovers kissed and held each other tenderly, suspended high in the sky, the magnificent sunset fueling the romantic mood.
