Tainted Eyes: part XII: Toys

Riku stared up at the ceiling, later that night. He remembered how relieved he was when Squall found him with Sora. Sora was cornering him in the bathroom with a look that was more than lustful in his eyes. Thankfully, Squall could only see Sora’s back as he approached.

“Are you two okay?” Squall asked.

“Y… Yeah,” Riku said, managing to sound calm.

Sora turned around, smiling innocently at Squall. “We’re okay. How is Cloud? What’s going on?”

“A good friend of Cloud was returned. It looks like Livion had more than a little fun. Aeris hasn’t come out to tell us how bad it is yet, but from what I saw in there….” Squall stopped, not wanting to trouble the boys. “Sora, are you alright? Do you need to be treated for anything?”

“I’m fine. Nothing was… forced on me or anything,” Sora said. “Thank you though.”

Squall nodded slightly. “You two should get some sleep. Sora, you’re sleeping in my room tonight. Don’t bother arguing.”

Riku took the chance to slip past Sora so that he could follow Squall to the bedrooms. He noticed how troubled Squall looked, probably from seeing Cloud’s friend.

“Squall,” he asked softly, “Shouldn’t I leave Cloud alone tonight?”

“He thought you might say that, so he asked me to come get you. We managed to calm him down.”

Sora followed Squall without arguing, much to Riku’s surprise. He guessed that Sora was probably tired. He entered Cloud’s room quietly. Vincent was already in his own room, so Riku couldn’t talk to him without going through Squall’s room. And he didn’t want to see Sora right now. Aeris was sitting on the floor next to Cloud, hugging him. Cloud’s back was to Riku, and Aeris slowly lifted her eyes to meet Riku’s gaze. She looked so tired and hurt.

“I… I’m sorry, Cloud,” she whispered. “I tried… but I can’t anymore…. I healed a lot of the wounds… but… there are so many….”

“It’s okay….” Cloud said, hugging her back. “I don’t want you to use your powers anymore. It could kill you….”

“But… there’s still so much blood,” she started to cry. “Still so much…. I want to keep healing but I can’t….”

“Don’t drain yourself, ever. Don’t ever let it get that far.”

Riku was about to leave the room, but Aeris stopped him. She and Cloud stood up and said goodnight to each other, and now everyone was in bed. Now Riku was free to stare up at the ceiling in peace.

He shifted this way and that, thinking of the cold, dark look in Sora’s eyes. He couldn’t figure out what could have possibly happened to Sora while he was gone. Innocent Sora couldn’t have fallen into the darkness this fast. It just wasn’t possible. Riku shifted again, unable to get comfortable. He tried to relax, drawing in his breath slowly, then releasing it through his mouth.

“You can’t sleep either?” he heard Cloud’s voice rise up from the floor.

“No,” Riku responded.

“How is Sora?”

“He’s… okay. But something is different about him.”

“Livion probably hurt him.”

“He seems alright… physically anyway.”

“At least he has that. Some people don’t fare so well….”

Riku was silent for a moment. “Did Aeris say how your friend was doing?”

“Not good. But Aeris said that I’m not wanted in there. My friend doesn’t want me to see how bad the wounds are. I promised Aeris that I’d stay in here tonight as long as she stops draining her energy with her healing powers.”

“Will she be okay?”

“She’s a strong girl.”

The two fell silent again, and soon they were asleep, overwhelmed with emotional exhaustion.

The next afternoon, everyone started to wake up. The side doors were all opened so that everyone was free to move from room to room. Vincent arrived in each room with sandwiches and fruit, and set them on etabltable.

“Eat young one,” Riku heard him say to Aeris. “Maintain your strength.”

Riku was glad to hear her giggle. It meant that she was feeling better. Vincent dropped off food for Riku and Cloud, and then opened the door to the white and silver room slowly, peeking inside. He stood in the doorway for a moment and then walked back into Cloud’s room. Riku couldn’t help but laugh as he walked over to Cloud, who was still half asleep on the floor, gently kicking him in the ribs.

“Get up,” Vincent said. “Someone is awake.”

“Hnnn?”

“Up,” Vincent said, kicking him again.

“Damnit… Once a Turk, always a Turk…. Pushing people around…. If I had my sword I‘d….” Cloud muttered, as he stood up in his gray sweatpants and walked into the next room.

Riku could see a faint smile on Vincent’s lips as Cloud went in to his hurt fris ros room. Both Riku and Vincent could tell that Cloud was more happy than he wanted to admit at knowing that his friend made it through the night and wanted to see him. Vincent followed him in to drop off the food, then came back out. Riku laughed again when a few grapes came flying at Vincent from Aeris’ room. Vincent blinked for a moment before grabbing a couple grapes from Riku’s plate and changing in. Soon Aeris’ laughs could be heard as they had a small food fight. Riku got out of bed to get a good look at the fun. Squall was standing in his doorway on the opposite side from Riku, smirking… which was the biggest display of emotion Riku had seen on his face. Sora was on the floor laughing as passing grapes to Vincent to help him in the attack. Both of the two attackers had resorted to squashing grapes in each other’s faces. It wasn’t a surprise to see Aeris like this, but everyone had to laugh at the normally stoic and upright Vincent, who seemed like he was still trying to maintain some of his dark, mysterious dignity.

How long had it been since this much innocent laughter had been heard?

Kairi walked into Livion’s room and found him staring out the window. She already knew that he was focused on the area where the crystal door was standing. It couldn’t be seen from the window, because the trees that surrounded it were in the way, but of course it was there.

“What are you thig ofg of with that solemn look?” she asked with a smile.

Livion grinned when he heard her and turned to face her. “A change of plans, my dear.”

“What change?”

“We aren’t going to kill Sora. I want him to join us.”

“That would just kill Riku,” she grinned.

“I know,” he smiled darkly.

“Will you visit his dreams?” Kairi asked with a delighted smile.

“Of course.”

“Will you bring him back here to play with us some more?”

“That would be the best part.”

“I guess I won’t have the pleasure of seeing him writhing in pain.”

“That’s what Riku is for. And I’ve been craving him. I must have him again.”

“Perhaps we should bring them together.”

“That is most certainly the plan,” Livion said, caressing Kairi’s cheek with his cold hand. “Riku will soon be broken, and the keyblade will be mine.”

Sora went to take a shower after helping to clean up the mess Vincent and Aeris made. He stepped into the marble bathroom and marv at at the fact that it was even bigger and more elaborate than the one he shared with his friends.

He stepped into the shower, closing the door and curtain behind him. It felt good when he turned the knob and the cold water poured over his body. He tilted his head up and closed his eyes.

You want to make her pay, don’t you?

Sora opened his eyes, but he saw nothing but darkness around him. The dim lights from the walls were gone… but then, so was everything else. It was just black. Sora could still feel the cold water hitting his skin, but only slightly.

You want to make her pay, don’t you? You enjoyed trying to hurt her, didn‘t you?Livion’s voice asked in it’s smooth tone.

“Yes,” Sora said softly, feeling oddly calm. “I want to make Kairi pay.”

You want to make her suffer.

“Just like I want you to suffer.”

Livion appeared in front of him, stepping through the dark haze. “You want to hurt me?” he asked, his voice growing deeper.

“Of course! You hurt Riku!”

“Is it because I hurt him, or because I took him for my own? Is it because I was the first to take his body? You wanted him for yourself, didn’t you?”

“Shut up!”

“It’s true, isn’t it?”

“So you think I’m okay with you torturing him?!”

“Perhaps not. But your envy is a part of why you hate me so much.”
vionvion approached Sora slowly.ou hou have so many urges, Sora. You hate Kairi and you want her to suffer. And your lust for Riku runs so deep. I can help you with both.”

“What the hell can you do? You just know how to make people suffer.”

“I didn’t seem to make you suffer.”

Sora swallowed hard. “You hurt Riku. I saw it through Kairi’s eyes. She showed it to me through the darkness in her heart. I saw what you did to him!”

“Kairi’s mind is turbulent. You felt her turbulent darkness when you kissed her… when you took her. Riku liked what we did to him. He is falling the same as Kairi.”

“Shut up! I saw him bleeding and crying the first time he came back. He told me what happened the second time you raped him also!”

“He was only ashamed that he enjoyed it so much! Many people cry and become ashamed at the end of their innocence. He was especially ashamed because he loved it. He likes it rough, and he wanted me to make him mine. It’s the same way Kairi enjoys it when I use her roughly. You saw how rough she liked it when you snuck a peek that night.”

“Why the hell should I believe you of all people?!”

Livion smirked and k dow down in front of Sora’s naked form. He held out his hand. “See for yourself.”

Sora rolled his eyes and took Livion’s hand, seeing no other option in this dark haze. In an instant he found himself in Livion’s room. It was the same scene he saw when Kairi showed it too him. Except….

Look at him,Livion’s voice sounded in Sora’s mind. Take a good look!

Sora watched with wide eyes as Riku kissed the white-haired man passionately. Sora then watched aku wku willingly got on his hands and knees and heard him groan with sheer pleasure as the man entered him from behind. Sora tried to shut his eyes, but the images were burning themselves into his head.

“He wouldn’t,” Sora murmured. “Riku would tell me if it happened like this.”

You don’t know him as well as you think,Livion responded.

Suddenly Sora found himself in Riku’s room. He watched as Kairi entered to ask about Riku’s condition the night after Livion’s men had raped him the first time. And then he watched as Riku grinned at her darkly.

“Livion showed me the darkness, Kairi” Riku said. “He freed me, and I loved it. Let me show you….”

Sora turned around after watching Riku grab Kairi and pin her to the bed. He heard her muffled cries and Riku hissing for her to shut up before he hurt someone else.

“Lies!” Sora cried out. “You’re a lying bastard, Livion!”

Am I?

Sora found himself in Livion’s room again, and he saw Livion cutting his name into Riku’s chest. But he also saw Riku cutting his name into Livion… and licking the blood away. Both of them were naked on the bed, breathing heavily and enjoying every second of this bloody erotic mess. There was red everywhere… staining everything….

“No….”

That’s not all, dear Sora.

Now Sora was in the black rose garden that Riku told him about. And he saw Riku backing Selphie up to the door, a murderous glint in his eyes. Kairi was screaming for him to stay away, and she stood between him and Selphie. But Riku pushed her aside effesslessly, and Sora watched in terror as he punched Selphie in the face, sending her spiraling through the door.

“NO!”

That was when Kairi fully gave her heart to the darkness. She was falling before… but once she saw Riku murder your friends, she was lost forever.

“Get out of my head! These are lies! You hurt Riku! You killed them! Why the hell should I believe anything you say?!”

Naïve words, young one. But trust me. He is after you next.

And Sora looked up with a start when he felt the cold water on him again. He was out of thack ack haze, and back in the shower room. He turned the water off and charged out of the shower, nearly bowling Riku over on the way out.

“Woah!” Riku said with a small smile. “Be careful, Sora. I got you back safety, so don’t hurt yourself for nothing.”

Sora looked his friend up and down. Riku was in a towel, and ready to enter the shower stall next to the one Sora had been in. Riku looked concerned when he saw how pissed off Sora was. But then surprise overtook concern when Sora shoved him into the shower and closed the door and curtain behind them.

“What are the others doing?!” Sora demanded.

“They’re talking about what Vincent saw in the castle when he escaped. Why? What‘s wrong?”

Sora growled and pushed Riku against a wall. Riku blinked calmly, not knowing what on earth was happening now.

“You let him do it!” Sora yelled.

“Let who do what?”

“You gave yourself to him!” Sora yelled again, his eyes growing dark menamenacing. He slid his hand between Riku’s legs, squeezing. Riku shifted uncomfortably under his hand, then gently put his hands on Sora’s shoulders.

“What are you talking about, Sora?”

Sora yanked Riku’s towel off and reached behind him and grabbed his butt and pulling Riku closer to him. He let out an inhuman growl and glared into Riku’s eyes. “You’re mine,” he growled, his crotch pressing against Riku’s. “If you let anyone else have you I’ll kill them… and you. No one else will touch you!”

Riku couldn’t bring himself to push Sora away. He knew that it was still Sora, and he didn’t want to hurt him. He still planned to free Kairi and Sora from the darkness somehow, and when they were free he wanted them to be happy. He wanted them to remember that he was always there for them, not that he pushed them away.

“Sora… I didn’t want what he did to me. You… were the first that I wanted.”

“I better be all you want,” hissed Sora before releasing Riku and storming out of the shower. He threw on his clothing and went to join the others, quickly putting on his innocent face.

Riku slumped down against the shower wall, a helpless feeling growing inside him. A weak, helpless feeling…. He hated it. He grabbed the soap and cloth and washed himself thoroughly, his mind wandering to Sora as he did so. He had to get him back somehow.

When Riku returned to Cloud’s room he could hear the blonde speaking in the white and silver room next door. Cloud was talking to his friend softly, and Riku couldn’t help but overhear.

“…and then they got into a food fight! You should have seen Vincent when he…”

Riku didn’t want to continue listening without Cloud’s knowledge, but he was also curious. Cloud was puzzling to him. He seemed so hardened at times… but then at other times he seemed like a little boy in a hard shell. Riku slowly walked into the doorway of the room Cloud was speaking in.

“But I swear to you,” Cloud was saying, “I will see that he dies. After what he did to you… he will suffer slowly. I’ll slice off his--” Cloud looked up suddenly, seeing Riku. “Come in, Riku. Sora has already met my friend.”

Riku nodded and slowly approached the bed in the dimly lit room, but before he made it there a scream pierced the air. Cloud jumped up, assuring his friend they’d return. The door to Aeris’ room was now closed and locked, and Riku pounded on the door.

“No! Stop!” Aeris cried from inside the room.

The sound of something shattering could be heard, then more screams. Vincent ran into Cloud’s room from the bathroom.

“You can’t get in this way either?!” he asked. He immediately ran back from where he came, and they assumed from the banging sound that he was trying to break down the door that led from the bathroom to Aeris‘ room.

Aeris was crying like a frightening little girl now, and Cloud and Riku frantically kicked and punched the door. It wouldn’t budge, since it was designed so that no one could enter or leave if Livion’s people didn’t want them to.

“It hurts!!” she screamed. “What did I do…?!”

Suddenly the door flew open, and Sora was the one who unlocked it from inside. He had obviously unlocked Vincent’s door first, because now Vincent was trying to pry Squall away from Aeris. Aeris was on the floor, her pink dress shredded to pieces. Squall looked at her with wide eyes as Vincent held him back. Cloud ran to Aeris and picked her up, setting the crying girl on the bed and hugging her.

Riku looked to Sora, who stood watching all of them with dark, distant eyes.

“…Not his fault…” Aeris cried. “It’s not his fault….”

Squall stood there with a look of shock, and Riku immediately knew what happened.

“I couldn’t control myself,” Squall managed to say as he moved his brown hair from his sweat-covered forehead. “I’m… sorry. But… It wasn’t me….” He tried to move towards Aeris to help comfort her but Vincent held on to him.

“Both of you calm down first,” Vincent said softly.

“It was Livion and his men,” Riku said. “When they come together they have enough power to make a person into their puppet. I know because they did it to me.”

Vincent nodded and released Squall. “We know this is not your doing Squall. We simply want to be careful if they still have a presence among us.”

Squall walked over to the bed slowly, his eyes filled with a million apologies.

“D…don’t be mad…. He didn’t actually… Vincent… stopped… and Sora….” Aeris sobbed.

“Squall didn’t actually rape her. I stopped him and Sora before they could hurt her,” Vincent clarified. “Do not trouble yourself with defending them, Aeris. We are aware of their actual characters. Just rest yourself.”

Riku was staring at Sora now, anger growing inside of him.

“Sora…” he muttered. “Let’s go talk about what happened.”

Sora nodded and followed him into the bathroom.

“What was that?!” Riku yelled once they were alone by the sinks.

“What do you mean?”

“Do you mean to tell me that you were both being controlled by Livion’s men?!”

“That’s the story,” Sora smirked.

“I overhead them talking the night they took me. It takes all four of them to do something like that! It takes a lot of energy to overpower someone’s will over the body like that! They couldn’t have controlled both of you!”

“You’re right, but Aeris doesn’t know that.”

“You just watched while Squall was forced to hurt her!”

“No, I helped him hold her down, and I broke a vase and shredded her dress to pieces with it. It probably took some skin with it.”

“Sora! What the hell is wrong with you?! You know what Livion is trying to do!”

“She was getting too friendly with you. She was being way too nice.”

“She’s just a nice person!”

“That’s what we thought about Kairi.”

Riku sighed deeply in frustration and shook his head. Sora was a danger to them while he was around. He had to do something. He had to tell the others what was going on. He started to walk back to meet the others when Sora grabbed him and threw him against the sink. Riku’s head hit the mirror hard enough to break and distort it, but it didn’t shatter. Sora bent him over the sink so that he was facing the mirror and rammed his head against the glass again. Riku’s head was spinning as Sora pressed against him from behind, and blood started to streak his silver hair.

“Why won’t you fight back?” Sora growled in his ear. “Remember how you’d always win every match on the island? Fight me now.”

Riku felt one of his arms pulled behind him and twisted against his back.

“Fight back, like you did when those men took you,” Sora whispered. “You looked so good spread open like that. I wanted to take their places, one by one…. I wanted you thrashing against me….”

Riku couldn’t stand to hear anymore. He tried to pull his arm away, but found that he couldn’t move it. For some reason he just couldn’t break away from Sora’s grasp. His head started to throb and pound, but he refused to pass out. He knew…. He knew that Sora’s new power was from Livion, just as Kairi’s had been.

“I want you to writhe and cry and thrash against me,” Sora whispered harshly in his ear. “I want you sweating while I open you wide and stretch you out. I want you to beg me to stop… and then go again….”

“That… isn’t love… Sora.”

“Love?! What do I need love for?! Your just a fucktoy, Riku. A tight hole with a hot body. You’re my possession… for my use only…. Unless I feel like watching while someone else fucks you just so I can punish you for it later!”

A single tear ran down Riku’s cheek, but his face held no emotion. He stood there and took in Sora’s harsh words… Sora’s abuse… Sora’s hatred. Finally, fed up with his little game, Sora stalked off to meet the others. Probably to put on his fake innocence and charm them into thinking he really wouldn’t hurt a soul.

Riku leaned there against the sink, his blood flowing down his silver strands. He was dizzy and aching now, and he had no one to turn to. But the feeling passed in an instant. The blood ceased to flow. Riku stood up straight, thinking he had just n nun numb to it. He went to another mirror and looked at the spot the blood flowed from. It was closed and healed.

This was no blessing….

He quickly ran to the others, knowing that Livion was coming for at least one of them. And as soon as he reached the room he found the door to the hallway open, with Livion standing in the doorway. Sora was standing next to him, smiling darkly. Kairi stood on the other side of Livion. Everyone looked at the three in shock, not wantin mov move in case Livion wanted to hurt Sora… who they assumed was on their side until now. And it didn’t help matters that Aeris was hurt badly.

Livion raised a gloved hand slowly, and pointed to Riku. “Come, or watch them suffer.”

Squall stood in front of Riku before he could take a step forward. “Then we will suffer,” Squall said. “But we will not be separated.”

Livion smirked, then snapped his fingers. He moved out of the way with Sora and Kairi while dozens of men flooded the rooms. Cloud dashed off to this friend’s room, but he was jumped by a group of large men. Another group rushed past him to see that his friend was taken as well. Vincent tried to concentrate on transforming, but fell silent when Kairi ran at him, sticking a drugged needle into his arm. Vincent soon fell to the floor, only to be picked up by a couple of large men. Aeris screamed as the men pulled her hurt body from the bed roughly. Squall and Riku were pulled away from each other, and the whole group was dragged from the rooms.

“Now you will all suffer together,” Livion laughed as Squall was pulled out first.

Riku could hear Cloud yelling and trying to fight. His heart ached for Cloud’s friend, and he prayed that they wouldn’t kill the person with whatever torture they had planned. He turned and caught glimpses of Cloud’s fierce blue eyes, which were glowing brightly with his anger.

Sora walked next to Riku as he was pulled along. “Ready to be my fucktoy?” he grinned evilly.

“Is that all I ever was?” Riku asked softly.

“Of course. Who could love you?”

Riku met Sora’s gaze with his aching sea-green eyes. He couldn’t believe how fast the darkness claimed people… especially Sora. It all happened so fast. It was as if it found it’s opening, and then gave you no chance afterwards.

Sora glared as Riku gazed into his eyes, then growled and turned to Livion.

“You’re right,” Sortterttered. “His eyes are disgusting….”

Riku looked down, feeling without worth as he and his new friends were pulled through the dark castle.

(Thank you so much for your reviews! They mean a lot to me and they push me to keep writing. In response to a couple notes: I honestly wasn‘t aware that the cliffhangers at the ends of the chapters were that huge! =) Apparently it drives people bonkers! Also, I do proofread a couple times, but since I know what it‘s supposed to say already, I don‘t catch everything. But you should see the things I do catch! I mismatch names a lot… which makes for a funny mistake! *Dodges the Sora fangirl arrows* O_o *Runs away to start the next chapter*)
