Chapter Eleven
The horrible day wore on. The rain pourown own with unending force, almost in a solid sheet. And it did not stop. Even as Florice took shelter in a small house on the edge of town with her eggs, Link sat in deep talk with Sahasrahla the elder...
Slowly, Link made his way back home..his heart was heavy, and a cloud of doubt covered his mind. It couldn't be true. None of those things could be true...
He trudged on wearily, not knowing wether the rain or his heart made him sluggish. At that point, he didn't even care.
Link saw a tiny figure sprawled in the street, and he ran to it...
"Florice...?"
She wasn't moving. Her dress was torn, a large bruise visible on her face...Link shook her violently, flying into a panic.
"Florice! Wake up! By Farore, wake up! Please...!"
Slowly her eyes flitted open, but all that came from her mouth was a ragged moan. Kneeling quickly, Link took her inside.
He quickly stripped her, lying her on the bed. By the Goddesses, her breasts were covered in scratches. Her eyes had lost thier fierce light...and Links heart became ever more fearful, a deep tightness in every inch of his body.
"Florice..Florice, my sweet, who did this? What happened? Tell me..please.."
"Link...it was raining...and..." she coughed and curled into a ball. Where was his head, she had to be freezing! He got her a blanket and took her hand...
"I went to the closest house..it was Toreador...that man who ran from you..he invited me in..."
Link's heart fell, and his breath stopped in his throat. His hands clutched into tight fists and his body shook...all thought had left him. All thought, all desire.
Link turned and bolted out the door, everything he saw colored a deep, bloody red...his mind, the village, the rain...
And the rain did not stop him...his pain did not stop him...he simply drew the Master Sword, and the Hero ran forward, no longer noticing the evil thoughts in his mind...

I'll give you a teaser of the next chappie, even though I haven't wrote in a while and feel these to be subpar. The little bastard is in for it. Oh, yes.Check back in 3!
