Eternal Bond

The Sand Tower had once been alone on the outskirts of the desert town En, but now it was snug with the town's new district. An ancient road leading to the tower had been carved into the cliffside, the tiles now worn from countless years of use. An endless succession of people had gone to the Sand Tower, especially couples.
These days the site was quiet with the looming threat of the mechteria invasion, but locals still occasionally visited, and now Leo and Kina had also returned to the frontier town. They had spent the last light of dusk to climb the cliffside ancient road, and now a full moon illuminated the tower against a starry sky.
The shaft stood proudly up from a mound between the high cliffs, erected straight up into the heavens. The top of the Sand Tower was a curving bulge, like a bulbous mushroom head, standing out from the long and smooth tube.
A handsome black-haired young man, decorations on his white pants and sleeves and his vest open to show his bare chest, was standing outside. He took notice of Leo and Kina, especially Kina, and flashed her a smile. Leo gritted his teeth imperceptibly.
"Legend has it, any couple who climbs this tower, will be eternally bonded," the man said.
"We know! We've already been there!" she replied.
The man's eyes were all over Kina's beautiful features, her bare shoulders and chest, slight cleavage and the full swell of her dress over her breasts.
"So there you go!" started Leo with mock chirpiness. "Legend, eternal bond, still together!"
Kina looked at him happily, but the man glared at him.
"Hope you find yours someday too!" Leo snarked at the stupefied lothario, and dragged Kina by her hand into the Sand Tower.
Inside the tower, the round rooms of the staircase were simple and bare, kept clean from sand, dirt and unnecessary clutter. Leo walked up the round stairs behind Kina, taking the time to appreciate his surprising savior and her all-encompassing allure.
The beautiful brunette kept her hair shoulder length, some of it tied at the back, just enough to offer glimpses of her simple pendant and the black choker around her neck, even from the back and sides. Her shoulders and upper back were bare, and as she continued climbing, Leo forgot himself for a moment, just staring at the sexy slender lines of her naked skin leading into the red cloak.
His sudden stop under her spellbinding sensuality brought her into the side view on the round stairs, and he could see how her heavy breasts jiggled with each step under the red strapless cloak. Leo wondered if her magic included keeping the loose cloak on, as it seemed to float over her puffy white sleeves and simple white dress underneath, looking like it could come off her ample bosom at any moment if the magic was undone.
Coming back to his senses, Leo rushed up the stairs behind Kina, only to bump into her when she stopped at a landing.
"Aah!" she yelped, as Leo inadvertently pressed onto her, grabbing her bust and waist for improper impromptu support.
"Ooh, soft!" he blurted out.
"Oh, sorry, huff..." she panted an apology. "Whew... are there more stairs than last time?"
"I'm feeling more bumps, that's for sure," he said and groped her chest with both hands now.
"Hee hee... you can let go now," she giggled.
"Do I have to?" he asked and continued his caressing hug.
"No," she teased.
Leo knew she fully meant it, even on this spartan mid-landing. He let go, and she gave him a pleasant look, then continued up the next flight of stairs.
The black rim of her red cloak covered her butt, but Leo was happy to gaze at her long legs. Out of her black boots rose white stockings that ended with eye-captivating floral decorations just above her knees, leaving most of her milky thighs bare.
Finally, they were at the fifth floor, the top of the tower. Kina leaned on her knees to catch her breath, and the position pushed her butt up, the white dress and red cloak clinging to her behind in a round curve. Leo hugged her again, this time with a bump only in his pants.
"Huff... Remember when that guy in Vence thought we were applying for a marriage license?"
"I guess, why?" asked Leo, his hands wandering up and down her white dress.
"Oh, it just popped into my mind," she said with a bright smile and rose up.
The view from the Sand Tower was breathtaking, even without the climb. The full moon granted its silver radiance from the starry sky, and all around them the town of En and its surroundings spread, the frontier town settling down for the night. They could see beyond the mountains and desert, into the southern forest and even a glimpse of the beatiful sea around Vence, City of Water. The view was only spoiled by the alien apparitions of the mecha infestation.
Four sturdy pillars supported the dome covering the The observation deck, with lanterns hanging from the pillars. Thick metal rails were embedded into sturdy stone walls, with a similar metal rail lining the stairway. There was even a bench with a comfortable looking cushion and a pillow that looked like it was replaced as often as the tower was cleaned.
"Do people come to sleep here?" wondered Kina.
"Sleep together, maybe?" grinned Leo.
Kina's breathing quickened, she opened her mouth in excitement but said nothing, and glanced around the observation deck, the stairwell and the tower. Then she drew in air through her nose, making her bust swell and drawing Leo's attention to the beads of sweat on the bare upper curves of her ample breasts.
"It smells good here," she announced happily.
"Hey, don't look at me," Leo quipped.
But she did, and approached him, then put her arms around him and her nose close to his neck, to take in his scent.
"You smell a different kind of good," she said. "Now do me."
"Do you?"
"How do I smell?" she rephrased quickly, blushing.
"You... smell?" asked Leo, now genuinely perplexed.
"You know what I mean, dummy!" she fumed, looking very cute to Leo when she was annoyed. "My scent. How is it?"
Leo mimicked her embrace, placing his nose close to her neck and drawing a deep breath. Next, he detached and sniffed all around her beautiful body under the red cloak and white dress, making her giggle. But then he leveled with her and looked into her sparkling brown eyes. He wasn't going to make anything up.
"It's alright, I guess," he said honestly.
Kina looked slightly disappointed for a moment, but quickly got a sunny smile back up again.
"I know, I know. My sense of smell is better than most people's, better than anyone I know."
"There are other senses, you know," said Leo.
Then he kissed her.
He drew her in closer, wrapping his hands around her slender frame. It was a touch of the lips first, but they went in deeper, pressing tighter together. He caressed her brown bangs and held her tight, and she was elated to be in his hold, taking in his scent again. At the round observation deck of the tall Sand Tower, the moonlit world rested quiet around them, their senses filled with each other, and they kept kissing forever.
