Night City: Einar and Zephyr Romance Story
Zephyr runs into the room, trying to cover the bruises left by the mysterious Rhonda who threatened her life. Her screams still echoing in Zephyr’s mind, but those thoughts are dashed because she knows she needs to hurry. She knew that if Einar saw her in this state, he would be furious, but that would be an understatement. As she walks into the room, Band and Barash already start the questions. Zephyr tries to deter them from talking about what just happened, but they would not be silenced.
The door opens as she whips around to face Dante and Einar. Einar is apologizing for something that must have happened while the two of them were out. She walks away from them, still hoping to hide her shame of being taken down by the girl. Barash calls out after her, as she pops her collar, “What are you trying to hide?” Turning, Zephyr attempts to shush him, but it is too late, Einar sees the marks. Luckily, Einar pays no attention, but begins asking about the confrontation that was at the door, the fight that Zephyr lost.
Dante turns on Einar, “Are you telling me that you brought me up to my apartment when you knew that someone had breached security?” Quickly, Dante begins to dress in his metal gear, concern on his face. Zephyr attempts to ease his discontent by telling him that everything is fine, but she is a terrible liar and still too disturbed by the altercation to make him fall for it. Dante demands to discuss what has transpired, while he takes a shower.
Talking through the door, Dante tells Zephyr that the men will be attending a strip club, and she pays no attention to this, at first. She drops her collar and attempts to tell him about the attack that happened in the lobby. Dante chastises Zephyr for not pulling out a gun and killing the girl, but also mentions his distaste with the failure of his men. The two of them begin to argue and she warns him about Garret and the hit on
Einar is closeby, listening and at the mention of Zephyr’s attack, he roars at Dante and Zephyr “Lady Freyja WAIT!! WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!! Are you saying they both threatened Lord Helsin and physically harmed yourself?”
Everyone is silent for a moment, then she swings around to face Einar, “Yes! I was attacked” She pulls her shirt down, the tops of her breasts blossoming out, and revealing her neck and chest, once milky white, covered in scratches and dark bruising. “I was attacked, can you believe this!!”
Einar’s vision goes red and he leaves out the door to go to Band, demanding to see the demons that attacked his goddess. “Heimdall!!!!” Band finishes up a video he was working on, and turns to Einar. “Use your socery to look into the eather to find the beings that have attacked Lady Freyja.”
Band looks onto the cameras and is surprised to see the violence that occurred in the lobby. The footage is choppy, but the message is clear, Zephyr was violated by some unknown people. Einar demands a printout of the people, and Band attempts to get the best quality, but the pictures are terrible and it is too hard to see the people in the videos. He informs Einar that it will take some time to get a good picture he will need to jack into the net and find something better suitable.
Einar is just too impatient and begins to pack his things; guns, ammo, armor. He takes them to the van then back to his room.
Zephyr follows Einar into his room, closing the door behind her. Taking a breath and still trying to shake off the attack, she wants to stop Einar from taking anything else to the van.
“I need a favor from you,” Zephyr speaks to Einar, bluntly.
“Of course, Lady Freyja. I am already on course to avenge you,” Einar replies, fervently.
Zephyr presses back against the door, her hands behind her. She looks at the man who has protected her countless times, and who has always trusted his life to her when he needed to see the world beyond. Dante’s words ring in her ear, “If you want to sleep with Einar, wait until tomorrow night…” This cannot wait until tomorrow, she needs to stop Einar from going after these two tonight, and she wants comfort. A type of comfort that she knows only Einar can provide her.
“Einar, I have been defiled by the enemy, and I need to be purified, the only way you know how.” She pleads.
Einar stops his path of vengeance and slowly walks to Zephyr, looking down over her, a confused look on his face. He feels something that he cannot quite comprehend, but pushes forward to appease his mistress. “Of course my Lady,” and he produces a syringe with an ecstasy/LSD mix and injects her with it. Zephyr’s breath is taken away as the drugs course through her blood. She has never experienced anything like this before and panics. Grabbing onto Einar as the first wave of pleasure washes over her, she sees this man as the warrior that he is, and looks up into his eyes and the drugs take complete control.
Einar whispers to her, his voice hoarse, as her eyes dilate, “You are seeing beyond the veil.” He effortlessly lifts her from the ground, eyes locked on hers as he takes her to his bed. Zephyr claws at his armor, trying to get to his skin, the need for connection is too strong to deny. She makes small noises of protest when he finally sets her down on the mattress, and hesitates for a moment his hand on her shoulder, unsure of what to do next. Looking into her eyes, Zephyr picks up on his unease, leading him to take off piece by piece of his metal gear.
“The will of the Gods is mysterious,” is all Einar can speak before the two of them work together to remove the rest of the gear, joining her on the bed. He carefully places his hands on her, but Zephyr, consumed by the drugs leads his hands to touch her body, slowly guiding him to her most sacred of places. Zephyr looks into Einar’s eyes, placing her lips on his. He finally gives in to her pleas, leaning her back onto the bed, and centering between her legs. With incredible carefulness, he pushes into her, releasing a growl fused with some other unknown emotion.
Zephyr awakes to Einar sitting at the edge of the bed, her phone flashing with missed messages. The man, the Warrior, who was so gentle yet firm, quiet.
Einar does not retreat to the elixir that normally helps to center his thoughts, but instead suffers through the confusion and attempts to sort them out on his own. His face showing the struggle that he bears.
Zephyr does not disturb the man, but speaks from behind him “Of all the times that you’ve come to save me, to stop me from … no longer being on this mortal coil. I could not see this being any other perfect moment or exchange between us and I Thank You Einar. I Thank You for All Of This.”
Einar stands, looking down at Zephyr, “Lady Freyja I need time to consider what has passed.” He looks down at her in that moment, a realization passing over his gaze. A whisper, almost completely inaudible escapes from his mouth, Zephyr. He turns from her and walks out of the room, his clothes and armor forgotten somewhere on the floor.
