The loud whistle of the freight train rumbled through the large station as the two humans lugged their bags. One was tall in stature compared to the other, his complexion rather dark as well. He gave the shorter girl a smug look as they boarded the large vehicle. “I can't believe we're finally moving out of our hometown. I didn't expect you would come along honestly.”

“Pfft. Please Derek. I'm just going to meet some new faces and make sure you don't get into trouble.” The blue haired lady placed her fists on her hips teasingly. The train started taking off not long after they took their seats. Time quickly passed as more people came off then that came on. Before long it was only the two.

“So I wonder what Thema will be like..” Derek leaned back in his chair before hearing the train stop once more as footsteps came their way.

“Excuse me, but do you have the time? You see, I just replaced the battery in my watch so I need to know what to set it to..” The cat smiled in a friendly manner as he took the seat across from the two.

“Yeah, it's 2:33pm right now--”the girl began then was quickly elbowed by Derek. “Hey! What was that for?!”

“Oh, okay thanks! I'm Rover. I don't think I've seen either of you around..” the dark colored feline mentioned.

“Look. Don't just go socializing with random strangers. They could be dangerous.” Derek whispered to her as she frowned and quickly recomposed herself to smile back at the cat before them.

“Heh, ignore him. He doesn't like strangers. I'm Becka and he's Derek. It's a pleasure to meet you Rover.” Becka stated, Derek merely rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, refusing to look at the two as he stared out of the window beside him. He sank in his seat and occasionally glanced back at them.

“So I bet I can guess where you're headed.” Rover smirked, pulling out his map.

“Oh?” Becka giggled and moved into the seat next to him.

“It's Thema isn't it?” He pointed to the most southeast corner. Becka's eyes lit up.

“Yeah! How did you know that?!”

“It's the second to last stop Becka, he just had a lucky guess...” The two looked up at Derek who continued to stare out of the glass pane, the trees and hills passing his vision quickly.

“Don't mind him, have you been to Thema before Rover?” Becka asked curiously.

“Actually, yes. I like the animals and the sweet smell of their sunflowers..” The feline smiled as he sighed contently, almost daydreaming it seemed.

“Sounds like a nice place..wait. Animals? You mean--?”Becka began to wonder but was quickly answered by her new aquaintance.

“Yup. Thema is a town full of animals, well... besides you two now.” Rover nodded.

“Whoa, you mean a town of only animals?! Wow, I had seen animals a bit in the city but a town mostly of or wholly consistent of animals?! That's amazing!” the blue haired girl felt her heart skip a beat.

“Mhm, which reminds me. You go there often?” He popped the question.

“That's secret.” The cat turned to Derek whom answered first.

“Haha, no it's not Derek. We've never been there before honestly. We just graduated college and want to start fresh.” Becka cut in, Derek rolled his eyes once more.

“I see, so you're both moving there then? You'll love it!” the cat retorted merely, his tail swaying back in forth.

“Whatever, it's supposed to be a secret Becka.” The tall green haired male sighed.

“I bet you guys haven't even seen your houses yet. Have ya?” Rover smirked.

“Pretty sharp.” Derek unfolded his arms as he stared closer at the window now. A small town coming into view.

“Yeah, were getting a place there when we pull up.” Becka giggled at Derek's remark. The train whistled once more signaling it's stop. The brakes squealed as it began to slow.

“Oh hey, looks like were stopping soon! Thanks for chatting with me guys. It was a real pleasure. It's been a while since I last road a train. Like... 2002?” Rover began to ramble and mutter to himself about where his next stop would be. “Maybe, I'll come visit you guys sometime. Who knows!” he waved as the train stopped and the two got up out of their seats and collected their bags.

“I'd love it if you did!” Becka smiled, waving goodbye as she grabbed Derek's hand and walked off the train.

The country air was crisp and clean. The flowers swayed in the breeze, Becka inhaled deeply as Derek just stood there blankly. It didn't take long before a group of animals came to greet them. One in particular, a golden dog. Here attire looked very official and the rest of the town gathered behind her curiously.

“Oh I'm so glad you're finally here!” she shouted in excitement. The two humans just raised brows and looked back at each other in question.

“So glad you could make it Mr. Mayor!” The female dog replied. “I didn't know you were bringing a friend too!” she gasped.

“H-huh? N-no, I think you have me confused...” Derek began, Becka's eyes lit up and a light bulb came above her head. “Oh no Becka. I know that look. No.. were not.”

“Oh, then Mrs. Mayor. My bad.” the dog sweat dropped in embarrassment. “Please, call me Isabelle. I'll be your new secretary.”

“Alright, we still need to get settled and move in. But I'd be glad to work with you Isa. You care if I call you that?” Becka raised a brow.

“Nope, whatever suits your fancy Mayor.” Isabelle smiled back, her tail wagging ferociously.

Derek sighed as they slowly began their walk around town to meet everyone and work out getting a house set up. Becka was all too excited to be running the town, literally. He didn't know who they had her confused with. But until they showed up he shrugged it off. Let her have her fun for now and the consequences would come back to bite her in the ass. He thought with a smirk. Yes, this would be an interesting turn of events.
