Working Out Problems

Sometimes, when times were really hard, Leon liked to go out to the Bailey and just look out at the view. He had lost a lot, but the deep wounds to his heart were slowly being healed. His friends were, however painstakingly slow, bringing him out of his shell. Sora and his friends, Riku and Kairi, were helping too. There was only one person who really slowed the process down.

Cloud Strife. He'd defeated his Darkness months ago, but he was still so dark, still so moody... The way he still brewed over every one of his mistakes and guilted himself over everything just brought Leon down, because their pasts, though extremely different, shared the same amount of pain and loss.

It pained him, knowing that everyone was focusing on him and getting him to open up, when really, Cloud was the one hurting and needing the attention. Cloud was the one needing extra care and consideration. Cloud was the one who needed his heart healed. Cloud, not him. He didn't deserve it.

Sighing, the brunet man rested his face in his hands. "I don't deserve this... I don't deserve any of this..."

"Don't deserve what?"

Leon turned his head sharply, nearly causing himself whiplash. Seeing a certain spiky-haired Keyblade wielder, he sighed again. "Hey, Sora."

"Hi! We went by Merlin's, but he said you weren't there, so I volunteered to come find you," Sora stated, walking up and hopping to sit on the ledge of the Bailey. "So!" His legs began to swing back and forth unconsciously, and Leon knew it was because the boy was open for any answer to any of his questions, even if the question was 'Do you hate me?' and his answer was 'Yes.' "What don't you deserve?"

Leon sighed a third time, closing his eyes, then opened them slowly, turning his gaze from the teenager to the view again. "The attention."

"Attention?" Sora asked, raising an eyebrow. "You mean you don't like us acknowledging your presence?"

"Cloud needs it more than I do," Leon stated softly, resting his chin on his clasped hands. "He's been in darkness. He needs the attention more. Besides, they've known him longer than they've known me; they should be spending the attention on their closer friend, right?"

"Well... Why don't you pay attention to him then?" Sora asked, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

Leon closed his eyes tightly, sighing yet again. "Cloud... doesn't like me."

Sora laughed and waved it away. "Oh, you've got to be kidding me! You're fighting Heartless and restoring Radiant Garden and you won't talk to Cloud because he doesn't like you?" Turning to smile at the older brunet, the teenager found himself being glared at. "...Oh, you're serious."

"Of course I'm serious!" Leon answered sharply, standing up straight. "That guy doesn't like me!"

"...What's your point?"

"My point-!" Leon began, before stiffening as he felt someone else's eyes on him.

Both brunets slowly turned their heads to see a certain spiky-haired blond glaring in their general direction, but most of the negative feelings were pointed to the older of the two. After a few more minutes of glaring at them, he crossed his arms and turned away, stalking toward the ravine trail.

Sora gulped softly, eyes wide. "Gee, Leon, maybe Cloud doesn't like you."

"Ya think?" Leon asked sharply, eyebrow twitching as he looked back at the teenager. Sora frowned, rubbing his chin in thought, before his eyes took on a hardened glint, a look of pure determination that, frankly, scared the older man. "Sora? Sora, what are you thinking?"

Sora sprang to his feet and ran after the blond. "I'm going to fix this!"

"What? Sora, NO!" Leon called desperately, but the teenager was already gone. He paused, wondering what had possessed him to tell the Keyblade wielder what was bothering him, then groaned and turned, smacking his forehead against the wall lightly. "Stupid, stupid, stupid...!"

xXxXx

Sora was not one to be deterred. Seeing the man he looked up to so deep in depression had made him determined to see him smile again, even if it meant a conversation with a blond man that, though he respected, he was very intimidated by. But he would get over that! He, Sora Hikari, had to make things right! ...Or at least find out why Cloud hated Leon so much.

It was like someone had replaced the Darkness with hatred for Leon. Cloud didn't act that way with anyone else. In fact, though he was socially very awkward, he was always polite to people (even the ones he didn't know), and he was even very kind sometimes. So why treat Leon so badly? It didn't make sense! ...Another reason why Sora wanted to fix things.

Spying the blond man walking ahead of him, Sora quickly cried out, "Hey! Hey, Cloud!"

Cloud turned, frowning, then growled when he saw Sora trailing after him. Turning back to where he'd been going before, his strides lengthened. He didn't want to talk to the ever-cheerful teen. It ruined his bad mood.

"Cloud! Wait! I want to talk to you!"

'And ruin my bad mood. Go away. I just want to be mad at something right now,' the blond answered in his head, eyes narrowing.

Of course, this was Sora he was dealing with. With something akin to a battle-cry, the brunet tackled him to the ground. "YAAAAAH!"

Cloud grunted as he hit the ground. Ouch was an understatement. Sora must have weighed as much as an elephant. "Get off me!"

"Not until you tell me why you don't like Leon!" Sora countered stubbornly, never one to give up.

"I said get off of me, Sora!" Cloud shouted warningly, scowling.

"And said that I won't get off of you until you tell me why you don't like Leon!" Sora scowled as well, and it was a look that didn't seem to fit his usually smiling face. Inwardly, Cloud whimpered. The Keyblade wielder was pissed. "Why do you have to make Leon feel so bad? You defeated Sephiroth! You should be happy and opening up! You're nice to everyone except him! Why? Why do you hate him so much?"

If Cloud didn't know better, he would have thought that the brunet would have hit him then. But no, this was Sora. He wouldn't hit him. He was too damn good. Turning his head away, the blond set his jaw.

Sora's eyes narrowed. "You know me, Cloud. I will sit on you until you tell me. I don't care how long it takes."

And he did know. ...Damn.

"Fine!" Cloud shouted, as he wasn't very patient when he was in awkward or humiliating positions with someone. "I hate Leon because he's so fucking light! He's always been light! He's never had the Darkness threatening him like its threatened me and everyone's so focused on getting him to open up! They don't care about me as much as they care about him!"

Sora frowned and crossed his arms, anger fading immediately. "That's not true, Cloud. We care about you just the same. It's just that you opened up by yourself after you defeated Sephiroth. We actually have to pry Leon out of his shell." Mild annoyance flared across his face. "And you're not helping. Leon thinks you hate him, and he's blaming himself, when really it's everyone else's fault if what you're saying is true, so he's just pulling himself shut even more. It's annoying."

Cloud crossed his arms and looked to the side. "...I don't mean for him to feel guilty. I just get so angry sometimes..."

"You're jealous, aren't you?" Sora asked, frowning again. "You're jealous that we pay more attention to Leon than you. You have to admit, though, that when you start brooding, everyone drops what they're doing and tries to figure out what's wrong with you. ...Have you ever noticed that when everyone drops everything, it includes Leon? He always looks so hurt, and left out, and it's because not only is he being ignored, but he can't help you, either, because you're always so hostile toward him that he doesn't want to take the chance of making everyone mad at him by agitating you. You're not just making him feel bad, Cloud; you're hurting him."

Cloud frowned, brows furrowing together. "I... I never meant to hurt him. I just... wanted him to stay away..."

"Well, you are, so congratulations for making an innocent man feel like scum!" Sora stated cheerfully, knowing it would just make the blond feel worse, before getting to his feet and walking back the way they'd come. "I'm gonna go find Kairi and Riku. If you see Leon, don't say hi to him. He might have a heart-attack."

Cloud sat up and watched the teenager walk away, frowning again. He'd never thought he could make Leon, so stoic and aloof, feel badly about himself. It was... sort of exhilarating, really. In a sick, twisted sort of way. Sighing, he stood up and dusted himself off. Well, there was only one way to get the Keyblade wielder off of his back now; find Leon and apologize. He should be back at the Bailey, right?

xXxXx

Crap. He wasn't at the Bailey. Where else did that socially inept go! Today really wasn't Cloud's day. First, he sees Leon at the Bailey, where he'd been planning to train; then, he gets tackled to the ground by a teenager who's three times as heavy as he looks; now, he was looking for Leon to possibly apologize, and he was nowhere to be seen.

Life sucked.

As if some god somewhere decided he'd suffered enough, Cloud heard a familiar voice behind him. Turning quickly, he found the brunet he'd been searching for paying Scrooge McDuck for some sea-salt ice-cream and beginning to walk away. Now was his chance!

"Hey, Leon," he called carefully, making sure his voice was devoid of any malice.

Leon turned, ice-cream sticking out of his mouth and eyes questioning. Cloud couldn't ignore the thought that that innocent look Leon had just accidentally shown off could rival Sora's. However, as soon as the brunet had realized that it was Cloud who'd called him, he turned back to where he was going and began walking again, strides lengthening noticeably.

Cloud scowled. Leon was pulling a... pulling a... Well, pulling a Cloud! How dare he copy him! The audacity! ...Though it was rather flattering.

Crap! He was getting away!

Running after the brunet, Cloud began cursing in his head. Leon was power-walking, and he had to run to catch up? ...His ego hurt. He would not forget this humiliation.Ever.

Leon didn't even stop to throw the stick of his ice-cream in the trash; just a casual toss. It was like he wasn't even running away, even though it was obvious to Cloud that he was. Humph. Stupid, long-legged brunet.

As Leon turned down onto the ravine trail, seemingly getting further and further away, Cloud's eyebrow twitched. It looked like it was time for him to pull a Sora. Speeding up into a full-out sprint, he tackled the brunet to the ground with a snarl. "I called you so you'd stop!"

"Get off of me!" Leon snapped, obviously agitated now that he was face down in the dirt. "Get off!"

Cloud lifted his weight momentarily, flipping the brunet onto his back, and scowled. "I wanted to talk to you."

Leon struggled a little, growling. "You're hurting me!"

"Yeah, and I'm gonna hurt you a lot more if you don't shut up and listen to me!" Cloud snarled, balling Leon's shirt in his hands. When the brunet flinched, he couldn't help but feel a slight sense of dark delight. "Now, are you going to listen to me?"

Leon mumbled an incoherent assent and looked away, his face staining a light red. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been in such an awkward position. ...It annoyed him, but he was mostly humiliated, because he was in such an awkward position with Cloud. Insert the ground swallowing him here.

Cloud loosened his grip on the brunet's shirt slightly, face relaxing a little. "Okay. What I wanted to say was... Um..." This was the part that made him falter. "I, uh..." He looked away, a dusting of pink across his face. "I'm... sorry."

"For what? Smashing me face first into the ground? Yeah, I would hope so!" Leon exclaimed angrily.

"No!" Cloud retorted indignantly, then realized that it had been the wrong answer. "I mean, yeah, I'm sorry about that too, but that's not what I was apologizing for!"

The man below him blinked slowly. "...Not apologizing for that...?"

"Well, kinda. ...I guess, apologizing for two things at once," the blond murmured, eyes traveling over Leon's features carefully.

It was then he noticed how soft, though still very masculine, the brunet's features were. The scar most people thought made him look menacing or intimidating seemed to just split his features, causing his pretty face to have a strangely exotic look. He looked extremely cute with his brows furrowed together in confusion and his lower lip jutting out in a small pout as he tried to figure out what was going on.

Cute? Yes, Cloud had known he was gay for quite a while now. Not to say he hadn't tried dating women. There was Aerith (that was a mutual break up. They decided they were more like brother and sister.), Tifa (she'd broken up with him and told him to go find someone more his type. He hadn't realized she meant a guy. Did girls really know everything?), and even Yuffie (that was another mutual breakup. She said he was no fun; he said she was too energetic.).

"What else... could you... be apologizing for?" Leon asked finally, utterly confused by what was going on.

Cloud frowned. "For making you feel bad. I never meant to hurt you." When the man beneath him merely blinked, his frown faded into a scowl. "You could at least say something!"

"...You're still hurting me," Leon finally answered, looking away from him.

Whatever the blond had been expecting, that had not been it. "Oh. ...Sorry." He sighed and got to his feet.

The brunet stood as well, dusting himself off. Not once did he lift his eyes to meet Cloud's. "Well... I guess... I'll see you at dinner then..."

Cloud watched him start to walk away, eyes sliding down to his leather-clad ass. With each step, the leather seemed to strain against the brunet's muscular cheeks. The blond squeaked, trying to gulp over the lump in his throat as he felt heat pooling in his groin.

Ravish him!

Oh, yeah, and he'd totally forgive you for that!

He'd forgive me after I give him the best fuck of his freakin' life!

He's probably not even gay! Did you ever think of that one!

A straight man at least glances at women. Have you ever seen Leon glance a girl's way?

He's never glanced anyone's way.

...Good point.

So you're going to just stay put like you should?

Hell no. Look at that ass.

I see it, and you still shouldn't!

This conversation is so over.

You can't just-

Can't talk; must ravish!

Leon gasped as he was shoved up against the rock wall, squirming wildly. When he saw it was Cloud holding him captive, however, he froze. Something about the smirk twisted on his lips and the dark glint in his eyes was unnerving him. He was ashamed that he was afraid of a man three years his junior, but considering it was Cloud, he thought himself clearly justified. After all, the guy had a physical manifestation of his Darkness and had to physically defeat it.

Cloud licked his lips, tightening his grip on the brunet's arms. He knew it was taking all of the man's control to keep from shaking. It turned him on more than watching the leather of the other's pants flaunt his firm ass.

Leon gulped, blood rushing to his cheeks. "C-Cloud?"

The blond leaned forward so that his breath brushed against Leon's ear as he spoke. "I'm going to fuck you so hard you won't be able to walk tomorrow."

Leon squeaked as Cloud suddenly latched onto his wrist, dragging him toward the hotel he was currently residing in so he didn't have to live with Merlin, like everyone else. "C-Cloud! Cloud!"

xXxXx

Leon sighed softly as his bed-partner slowly stroked his hair. Opening his eyes, he looked up and bit his bottom lip. Maybe he shouldn't have given in so easily. But then again, it felt so good...

Cloud smirked, sliding his other hand down the brunet's side. Not only had that been the best fuck of his life, but he'd never had such a good partner. He'd loved the way Leon had withered and writhed beneath him. And the sounds he'd made; sweet Shiva, those whimpers and gasps were so sweet to his ears! He needed to hear them again!

Placing a few soft kisses on his new lover's forehead, he murmured, "You're so beautiful..."

Leon closed his eyes again and smiled a little in content. His eyes shot open again and he yelped, however, as Cloud gave him a sharp smack on the ass. "Ow!" He reached back and touched the tender flesh timidly, then whimpered a little. "That hurt, you asshole!"

"You weren't complaining earlier when I spanked you for being a naughty boy," the blond retorted, smirk widening.

Leon blushed and sat up a little, scowling. "Yeah, well that was different! You're not fucking me senseless like you were earlier!"

Cloud raised an eyebrow, smiling wickedly. "I wasn't fucking you senseless when I was spanking you, either."

The brunet looked away from him quickly, grunting in annoyance. "Yeah, well, I knew you were going to, so I just put up with it."

"Who said I'm not going to fuck you again?" Cloud gripped each of the brunet's cheeks tightly, causing him to gasp in surprise. "Because I am. I told you that I was going to fuck you so hard you can't walk tomorrow. And I still have..." He glanced at his alarm clock. "...Two and a half more hours."

Leon blinked, turning his head sharply to see if it was, indeed, half past nine, then gasped as Cloud rolled on top of him. "Cloud, wait! I have to get up tomorrow and-Aaaahhhhh!" He began to squirm a little as the blond began to stretch him again. "W-work tomorrow! Need to walk-"

"I'm afraid you're just going to have to take a day off, love," Cloud stated softly in mock concern. "...Two days, if you let me have my way with you. And you will."

"And just how do you know that-?" Leon sputtered indignantly, eyebrows furrowing together.

The sinister smirk that slid onto the blond's face made him shiver. "Why, Leon, I thought you'd never ask." Positioning himself to plunge into the older man, he jerked his head at his bedside table. "You see, I've got handcuffs, and dominating you would bring so much more pleasure than I've gotten so far."

"Wait! Cloud, wait!" Leon exclaimed frantically.

Of course, Cloud would do no such thing.

xXxXx

"You know, I haven't seen Leon and Cloud since noon today," Sora stated softly, leading the way back to the hotel.

"Well, maybe they've been working out their problems," Kairi suggested, shrugging.

As they walked inside, Riku smirked. "Oh, they're working out their problems alright."

The younger two looked up at him in confusion, frowning, before a loud shout echoed through the thin walls of one of the rooms. "Harder! Shiva, Cloud! I said fuck me harder!"

"Come on, baby! Come on!"

"Ah...! AH!"

"Shiva, Leon!"

"...I so did not need that mental image," Sora stated, turning and walking back out of the building.

Kairi squealed happily as she ran after him, clasping her hands together. "Wait until I tell Yuffie and Tifa!"

Riku rolled his eyes. "You fan girls are so weird..."
