All The Single Ladies!
Author’s Note: Yayy another oneshot. This is based upon another video by RayWilliamJohnson called What The Fudge???
Epic clip of three kids and their father in a mini-van singing to Single Ladies.
It just screamed to be made into a parody.

“All the single ladies,”
“All the single ladies!”
“Now put your hands up!”
Sora and Roxas grinned at each other as they sang along to Beyonce’s , Single Ladies that was currently on the radio. They were on their way to their summer camp for two weeks of fun and adventure, both boys planning on making new friends and participating in all the different events that were shown in the brochure.
It was a long trip, and they had already been on the road for a couple of hours. The twins were never usually bothered by this since they had the other to keep them company or their iPods, but their little brother Ventus was just a toddler and since both their parents wanted to come along to wish their sons well at camp, they had to bring him along as well.
And needless to say, little Ven was enjoying the trip just as much as his big brothers. He wiggled and clapped his hands, happily singing his own version.
Cute, right?
Of course, it was, no doubt about it. Sora giggled and continued singing, while Roxas snickered under his breath, but didn’t say anything to ruin the little boy’s happiness.
Their father on the other hand, well, Cloud wasn’t exactly the most sensitive of fathers, and this time was no exception. He thought the whole thing was cute as well, Ventus at the age where he loved to talk and sing random things that only he knew the meaning to, but he couldn’t help voice his opinion on this one.
“Son, you’re not a single lady, buddy.” Ironic how he chose to say that to Ven and not Sora or Roxas.
But it was those words that happened to break the little boy’s happy spirit. Everything was silent, all for Beyonce’s voice in the background on the radio. Ven blinked a few times, and Sora and Roxas exchanged a horrified glance, having a feeling they knew what was coming.
“Ah..ahwaahaaaaa!” Ven wailed loudly, nearly bursting the ear drums of everyone present in the car. Their mother sighed softly and gave Cloud a look, while he paled, and tried to console the child.
“No, no, sorry, Ven, forget what I said. You’re a single lady, bud.”
“Yeah, Ven, you totally are. Don’t listen to dad. He’s a moron.” Roxas grinned, but Ven continued to cry.
“Come on, kiddo, I didn’t mean it.”
“Dad, it’s not working.”
“I can see that, Sora.”
All three males winced as the crying increased in volume and they desperately tried to think of something to say or do to calm Ven down.
But what they didn’t realize was they hadn’t given the child’s mother a chance.
Her soft voice seemed to drown out the singing on the radio and entranced everyone, including little Ventus.
“I’ll always remember it was late afternoon. It lasted forever and ended so soon.”
Sky blue eyes wide with intent concentration were fixed upon the young woman in the passenger seat. She smiled a little, knowing she had all of the male’s attention and vaguely realized Cloud had pulled over just so he could look over at her and listen to her sing.
“You were all by yourself staring up at the dark grey sky. I was changed.”
The song on the radio had ended, and the DJ was droning on about who had just been singing and announcing the next song. No one was listening though. Cloud smiled softly, remembering how they sung this very song as a duet at their wedding. Sora and Roxas sat quietly, smiling at their mother’s singing and both relieved their little brother had stopped crying.
The brunette finally finished her song and glanced back to see Ven awake, face tear streaked but smiling happily.
“Did you like that honey?” Ven nodded and she chuckled, facing the front again and looking to her husband who sighed with relief.
“Thanks Aerith.”
“You’re welcome, Cloud. But could you promise me one thing?”
Cloud started up the car and got back on the road. “What’s that?”
“Next time, try not to say anything.”
“Ha ha. Got it.”

Author’s Note: Yeah that’s right. I went there. I used Cry by Mandy Moore because it was Aerith who was singing it. And if I remember correctly, Mandy Moore was her voice actor in either Kingdom Hearts or Kingdom Hearts II.
