Lighthouse

I had not been to this area of the continent before, though honestly there is no surprise in that as this was far off the "beaten path" or any other path for that matter. We went to the northern shore of Tristfall and then swam up the coast for what seemed to be hours, taking short stops on land periodically and even running along land when we could.

When I say "We" I refer to the small party I was in. We had wanted to find a base of sorts for the umbrella organization that had just been formed and a lady, who was an elf like myself, mentioned an old tower she knew of. Curious as to which one I followed along, more so that I could put my friend's mind at ease as the tower sounded like one of the old ones her family used to own. Thankfully this wasn't the case.

Back to the party though. It was myself, an elf Rogue, a elf huntress and an orc warrior (I'm wondering how much of their society is war based since all I seem to see for orcs are warlocks, hunters and warriors...who patches all these nut jobs up?)

Anyway the huntress, who was a member of the Farstriders, took us to a abandoned lighthouse that I silently dubbed "Lone Star". It is a very high tower with the entrances sealed up. If it houses any secrets we may well never know. The orc looked at it and wasn't to impressed (I shouldn't have been surprised, he IS an orc after all) and said he would think it over before using his home stone to port back leaving me and the Farstrider alone with her pet lynx.

I never did get her pets name which is funny, I guess I never thought to ask. She had just called for it (I don't know the gender, I'm not going to peek) and was getting ready to portal back herself when she saw me still gazing at the tower. Smiling she sat down and we formally introduced ourselves. Her pet went off to a ruined area to curl up for a nap.

As we talked I could catch her looking over me. This may sound suck up but this wasn't anything new as I AM an elf and compared to the other races in the Horde we are gods in beauty compared to the rest. Still having one of my own race looking at me like that made me a bit nervous.

I'm not stranger to being with someone, just...that I don't usually feel anything when I am. I'm a rogue, I get information and help keep the masses on their toes. If I'm in bed with someone its almost always to get some information, either on them or someone else. I try never to get involved as that could mean trouble if I started thinking about anything but my work.

I hadn't been paying much attention when the Farstrider stood up and stripped off her clothes playfully only keeping her guild tabard on, though not to long later that came off too. I will give her credit she has a wonderful body. I won't lie and say I didn't find myself wondering things about it. Her curves, her eyes, how she walked... she had a good affect on me.

She went skinny dipping for a bit and I took off my gloves and bracers, which is my way of relaxing. I don't like being fully undressed much as you never now what might happen. In a short time she came out of the water, naked and shivering. I moved over and wrapped my cloak around her shoulders and she looked at me with a grin.

I have seen that grin before. Its the one that says "You look delicious and I want to know how you taste." Yes I'm crude get over it. She asked me if I was into girls and I will admit I was nervous. I told her I wasn't interested in either gender much but that doesn't mean I don't like either of them. I just am very skiddish about being close to someone. She smiled and got herself dressed , calling over her pet again to prepare to go. As I leaned over to hug her she stopped and moved closer. I looked at her a bit bewildered, then she kissed me.

I've not kissed someone fully before. Not with something behind it. Kissing is part of mating and so I have done it, with both men and women. Though it is either to get information or to have a one night stand with some bar patron. I've never sat under the stars alone with someone and kissed them.

To say it threw me off guard is an understatement. I leaned to meet her kiss and her hands went around my back. I whimpered as she held me to her, her hands moving downward. I broke away and let her know I needed to go. I don't thin k she heard me as she stepped back and undid my belt a bit sliding her hands down between my legs, just for a moment.

I gasped in surprise and then I think she remembered what I said and grinned wickedly moving close to promise me that sometime, soon, she would want to finish what she started. I could only nod and hug her gasping a moment as her ear brushed against mine. With a whistle she smiled at me and winked as her lynx awoke from its nap and trotted to its mistress. She ported out, leaving me a moment with my thoughts quite a mess. I then headed back to the lands of the undead to rest and try to think of work. That brings us up to date. I'm in the dilapidated inn, writing this by candle light and looking out the broken window.

I wonder if she is doing the same. Does she treasure the time like I did? Will we go back again someday, just her and I? I want to say yes, and my heart does too. But this heart has been broken before and so the guards will stay up...for now.
