Belief versus Fact

Cloud thought a talking duck was weird. Before the heartless, the folks in Radiant Garden just didn't see anthropomorphic animals because those sorts of people didn't exist on that world. Not that Cloud knew about them being on other worlds either because he didn't know other worlds existed. But apparently they did and some of them had talking ducks and chipmunks who could fly ships and were reigned over by giant mice. It was just weird to Cloud but he accepted it all with good grace.

Then he saw Donald getting thoroughly smashed in Radiant Garden's best – and currently, the only still standing - drinking establishment and suddenly, 'weird' no longer seemed to be enough to describe a creature who, hard enough to understand at the best of times, was attempting to slur and quack his way threw a very lewd joke about a farmer, his pig and a case of mistaken identity. Painful seemed apt, though. Definitely painful.

Cloud thought Yuffie was annoying. Not to the point where he'd actually kill her although he did toy with that notion on occasion. He wondered if it was because of the heartless that she had become so annoying but then he remembered that time she'd managed to get honey in his hair and realised that no, Yuffie was always an annoyance.

Then he encountered Yuffie in the company of Sora; both of them hyped up on sugar, or rainbows or whatever the fuck it was that made them grin and giggle damned near incessantly, and Cloud found himself contemplating ending his own life instead of theirs. If he killed them, knowing his bad luck, they would haunt him forever more and that would defeat the purpose.

Cloud thought that nothing could possibly beat the feeling of a comfortable bed, a day off from hard labour and the familiarly of his hand. All too often, Cloud was so exhausted that he couldn't muster the energy to use his imagination let alone go as far as touching himself to completion so leisurely masturbation was a luxury he greatly enjoyed.

Then Cloud discovered that someone else's hand on his cock took away the need for both physical and mental effort. It helped, of course, that the subject of his fantasies was the very man bringing him to orgasm and Cloud silently thanked Leon for more than living up to those dreams. His lips were softer, his hands were coarser and his begging for Cloud to fuck him into the mattress was far sweeter than Cloud could ever have wished.

Cloud thought the hottest thing he'd ever seen was Leon, kneeling at Cloud's feet and greedily sucking him off. Both of them were fully clothed, as would be expected since they were en route to a Restoration Committee meeting when they dipped into an alley to relieve some pressure. The presence of clothes and the absence of true privacy gave the encounter that extra spark of forbidden lust and when Cloud emptied himself into Leon's mouth and throat, his knees almost buckled under the intensity of the orgasm.

Then Cloud found that watching Leon blow Riku was even better, especially since he did it with Cloud's cock in his ass. Bent over as Cloud screwed him gave Cloud the perfect view of Leon’s tongue, teasing and playing around Riku's erection. As for Riku, the boy made the most delicious noises as he bucked upwards, into the mouth that was so familiar to Cloud. Later, they would swap positions and Cloud would be in the middle, or maybe Riku. The three of them would fall into place somehow and continue to suck and fuck until exhaustion claimed them.

Cloud thought that he had been there, done that. That there was nothing he hadn't already done. He'd led a hard life; had fought and lost and continued to fight and lost again. Life went on around him and while he took small pleasures in the good things in life, more often than not he was bored. The heartless had come and gone. Sephiroth had come and gone, so what was left to do but muddle through the rest of his life and try to avoid being killed by the sheer monotony?

Then Leon and Riku showed him that there could be something new; something he hadn't experienced in too long a time. Unconventional as it might have been, it worked that the three of them got together and stayed together. Not because they had to, forced by circumstances to seek each other out because no-one else understood them, but because they wanted to.

Cloud thought that in his own, fucked up way, he might love them both.

Then, he discovered that they felt the same.

The end
