With Eyes Unblinking

“Looks like our luck isn’t going to change any time soon.” He spoke, his hand reaching down to scoop a handful of loose dirt. He brought it to his large, bulbous nose, nostrils flexing as he inhaled, his keen blue eyes staring off into space as he analyzed what he smelled. “Can’t find the slightest hint of deer in this area. Maybe they’re all scared of you!” He joked, chuckling heartily as he turned to his companion. “Aww, don’t take it personal Renee, I’m just teasing!”

Seamus was a most able hunter; his skills were the stuff of tavern folklore. It was told that he cleared the Algaz pass of an entire camp of Dragonmaw Orcs single handedly. Of course, such tales grew depending on the dwarf telling the tale, and how many brews they had imbibed before telling them. For Seamus was never truly alone, always by his side was the one being that he called ‘friend’, the only soul in all of Azeroth that he trusted, Renee.

Renee could always be depended on when things got heavy. Countless times she had saved Seamus’ hide from dangers untold. Murlocs, gnolls, orcs, even the demons of Outland, all had found that the stout dwarf’s companion was not to be trifled with. And though she made many uncomfortable with just her presence, she was just as welcome in any tavern as he was.

It was after one of their many adventures that they had decided to come back home for a little rest and recuperation. Today they hunted, not for fel orcs or naga, but simply deer, their skills and experience proving fruitless. “Come on hon time to move on! I’m thinking we’ll have better luck to the south.” He said, coming to notice the slight rustling of leaves from the thick brush behind him. Slowly he turned around, Renee nowhere to be seen. “Hon? That you?” He asked aloud, eyes going wide as a massive grizzly bear burst from the foliage, the heavily muscled bruin charged towards him, the distance between them closing much too quick for Seamus to sling his bow and notch an arrow. He braced for the bear’s impact, knocking him over and onto his back. The dwarf covered himself as the bear began raining down blows, his expertly crafted armor absorbing most of the damage. Seamus reached down towards his hip for his sword, the decision proving to be a mistake as he had left himself open, the bear’s gaping maw coming down towards his prone face.

The bite never came, instead the bear reared back, roaring in pain as something attacked him from behind. Seamus could only guess Renee had heard the ruckus and came to his aid. He wasted little time, quickly unsheathing his sword and slashing the bear deep across the chest. The bear went into a frenzy, flailing wildly, causing Renee to lose her perch on it’s back, momentum causing her to fly into the trunk of a nearby tree with a sickening thud. Seamus was now face to face with and injured furious predator. The bear took a heavy swipe, the nimble dwarf avoiding it with a practiced precision and grace, his blade flashing out to cut the vulnerable tendon of the bear’s arm as it passed. Immediately it recoiled, the lifeless limb hanging in front of it as it reared up on its hind legs, meaning to maul him. Seamus leapt forward as the bear came down, its own body weight causing it to impale itself on his twin blades. The wounds were precise and fatal, the last choked gasps leaving its body as Seamus whispered an apology for taking its life.

Crawling from underneath the limp corpse, Seamus moved to find Renee, his companion lying hurt near the tree she had struck, her limb held close to her abdomen. “Is it bad? Let me see.” He soothed, reaching out to take his friend’s leg, inspecting it. He reached into a pouch on his belt, withdrawing a small clay urn, scooping a dollop of dark blue balm from inside, applying it to her wound, hearing her hiss as it stung. “This’ll have to be bandaged.” He observed. “Hold still, it won’t hurt much more. I promise” he reassured, wrapping the leg in a cloth bandage.

“I had him right where I wanted him, until you interfered!” He smiled, happy to see his best friend. “That’s, what, twelve times this month? Thirteen maybe?” He asked, busily skinning and cutting away at the bear, harvesting its meat for supper that night. A sudden rumble overhead caught his attention, drops of rain falling onto his upturned face.

“Bah! Best to find some shelter!” He spoke the two running towards the nearby hills, finding refuge in a small cave. A tight entrance opened up into a somewhat spacious cavern, room enough to stand and lay down comfortably.
Seamus removed some flint and tinder from his pack, starting a small fire. The two huddled close by as they warmed themselves, the dwarf removing his wet clothing, hanging the damp articles near the fire to dry. “Are you hungry?” He asked Renee, placing some bear meat over the fire to cook the smell beginning to fill the small cave. She of course offered no reply, merely watching him as he worked the flicker of firelight reflecting in her eyes. Seamus finally removed a skin blanket from his backpack and sat down upon it, watching his food cook as he dried out.

“Come here girl.” He spoke, beckoning her over; she rose from her location, huddled in the corner, to come near him. “Closer, I want to look at those wounds again.” He explained. She climbed up his chest, her bandaged leg presented for his inspection as she remained still. “Well, I’d say you’re gonna be fine. After all we’ve been through, some mangy bear isn’t going to kill my girl!” He soothed, stroking her head. “All these years you been taking beatings for me. I wish there was some way I could make it up to you, so you’d know how much ya mean to me girl. Just wish I could read your mind, or even tell what kind of mood you’re in!” He chuckled; his laughing face reflected back at him eight fold from her black, glassy eyes. He hugged Renee close, her soft hair tickling his face as he smiled, wishing she could understand the affection behind the gesture. Pulling back, he patted her head and reached for the spit of bear meat, withdrawing the cooked steak from the fire, cutting off a piece to offer Renee. She showed no interest, unmoving from her location at his side as she watched him eat. “Not hungry?” He asked. “You should eat something; you’ll need your strength if you’re to heal proper from those wounds missy!”

She rose slowly from her spot, walking past the chunk of meat he left for her, to begin crawling back up his chest again. “What?” He asked, looking into her eyes as she stared up at him from his belly. She moved closer, those lifeless eyes staring back at him, moving ever so slowly up his body at that maddeningly slow pace she used. Finally, she was face to face with him, the dwarf looking at her with uncertainty, again asking her what she desired, as if she would suddenly break her life long silence. She placed her front legs on his shoulders and moved in closer, Seamus placing his hand on her abdomen out of instinct, holding her back. She pulled back a bit, giving the impression of being emotionally hurt, if that were possible.

“Renee?” He asked, a hint of fear in his voice, the spider’s dripping fangs coming far too close to his face. “What do you wa.” The question was cut short, Renee plunging her fangs deep in his chest, the venom quickly going to work as the world began to grow dark, the last sensation he felt was her lifting his legs as they were wrapped in her silk.

Wearily, Seamus’ eyes fluttered open the venom still in his system, settling a gentle fog over his senses. “Wha.... where...” he groggily asked aloud, unsurprisingly nobody answered his eyes opened again and this time his gaze took notice of his surroundings. He was still in the cave, the once crackling fire had now dwindled to a small flame, barely illuminating the area around him. He couldn’t help but notice that he was covered from neck to toe in web, arms pinned behind him as he lay on the cool cave floor. His movement must have caught Renee’s attention, as a soft skittering could be heard in the cave moving towards him, fear rising in his body as his heart began to race. He gasped aloud when Renee’s massive form came into view, two of her eight legs coming to rest on either side of his head as her body moved over his. His head quickly turned away as those two sharp, hooked fangs that had just recently pierced his flesh, hovered over his face, moving closer, until they softly caressed his cheek, holding there for a moment as if to say “How could you think I’d hurt you?”

“Listen Renee, I dunno why you bit me, but please, don’t do this! Not after all we’ve been through!” He almost sobbed. A whimper escaped his lips as he felt her lift him from the ground with her strong legs; her four arms holding him aloft as the other four were planted on the cave floor.

“Don’t! Please don’t!” He cried, tears running down his cheeks as the bushy red hair on his upper lip quivered. “Ah loved you... you were my best friend...” he sobbed in his throaty dwarven accent. She offered no response, those lifeless eyes just staring back at him as he felt two of her legs beginning to work over his legs, pushing and tugging. He had assumed that she was adding more silk to immobilize him, when he felt the cool air of the cave on his thighs. She pulled him even tighter to her, the hairs of her underbelly tickling his own. Seamus felt her adjust him a bit and then press tighter, and this time, he felt a distinct heat on his manhood. Upon contact, the heat parted way into a soft, damp warmth, and the head of his member pulled inside by Renee’s inner muscles, working in a perfect concerto to draw him inside.

“Renee.... my gods gal... what are ye doin?!” He gasped aloud, a feeling of uneasiness mixing with the pleasure he suddenly felt as she held him in her most private of places. Though their species were completely different in every way, they shared a most primal desire, and Seamus had discovered quite painfully that she desired him. He realized the strength that she possessed when she cradled his head to her, completely supporting him and her own body on three of her eight legs. Small whines of pleasure began escaping Seamus as she worked him over, the muscles of her vessel doing all the work as neither body moved.

“Renee...” he whispered again, feeling his pleasure building, his hips making tiny thrusts upwards into her, a sticky fluid coming to cover their nethers as they bonded. He could only feel her; unable to move the tiniest bit from her firm grip, her fangs caressing him as she reflected his wantful gaze back at him.

Ever so gently, she lowered the bound dwarf to the ground, still holding his upper body as she released his legs, Seamus grunting as a few inches of his slick cock slid from her depths to meet the cool air, his buttocks coming to rest on the rocky floor. Renee moved to straddle him, beginning to move as a dwarf would upon him. Small movements at first, but then her back end began bobbing in larger strokes, Renee seeming to enjoy the act as much as he did. Her acute senses could detect the quickening heartbeat, the rise in body temperature, the increased flow of blood to his thick cock, and the release of pheromones that signified he would breed her soon. She moved with purpose, pushing his body to the peak of pleasure, the small dwarf could only grunt, teeth clinched, as this spider ravaged his body.

“Renee...nnn! You gotta stop! Mnnnf!” He grunted, trying to stave off the inevitable; the spider he had come to trust with his life now held it quite literally in her many hands. She showed no signs of easing her assault on his senses, driving herself down on him quicker and quicker, the wet sounds of their sex filling the small cave. With one final slam, Seamus came, his back arching as his heavy balls unloaded into her receptive sex. The massive spider clamped down on him, her legs wrapping about him tight as she held his throbbing cock inside her, the vessel milking him for all he was worth. His next cry was not one of passion, but one of pain; Renee striking again with her sharp fangs, catching him at the zenith of his orgasm. The combination of having just orgasmed and the fresh dose of venom proving too much for him, he again crashed into unconsciousness.

Seamus groaned once again, his head swimming as he came out of a deep slumber. He was lying by the charred embers of the previous night’s campfire, still nude, as his now dry clothing was still hanging nearby. He almost believed that the previous night’s activities were a dream, until he looked down his body. Four swollen red bumps dotted his chest, tender to the touch, further down, a sticky film covered his body, matting his body hair, and coating his tender cock. He suddenly checked his surroundings, looking for any sign of Renee, a discarded pile of webbing lay near the skin he sat upon. He peered into the darkness of the cave, hoping to catch any sign of her, becoming worried as she was missing.

“Renee?! Where are you?! Come out! I’m not mad!” He pleaded. His keen blue eyes caught the faintest glint of light in the far corner, staring for a while, his eyes adjusted until they made out the orange glow of fire embers reflecting off her eyes. He moved towards her, Renee’s dark brown form huddling in the corner, slowly retreating from him, her legs pulled in front of her in a defensive stance.

“Aw Renee... Don’t be scared! I ain’t mad... just flabbergasted...” He explained, watching her for any sign of hostility. Renee didn’t move, just stared back at him from her hiding place. “Come on... I won’t hurt you. C’mon!” He begged. Tentatively, she reached out a limb, Seamus taking it in his hand, stroking it softly with the other. Slowly she emerged from her defensive position, her limbs reaching out to touch and caress his face and shoulders, Seamus smiling and allowing her free reign. He smiled when she wrapped her arms about him and pulled him to her, hugging him as he had her the night before, his wish seemingly granted.

“If that’s what you wanted, why didn’t you just say so?” He chuckled in a hushed tone, stroking her head. She did as she always had before, staring back at him with that blank expression, her unblinking eyes only able to reflect the face of her best friend, caretaker, and now lover. “Just one thing Renee... No more bites... that really hurts...”

Several months later:

Seamus opened the door to his room. He’d been at the inn for a couple days now, the inn keeper had been uncomfortable at first when Renee was present, but was slowly coming around, greeting her as a normal guest when the two passed by. Seamus couldn't help but laugh at the memory of the poor blood elf trembling like a leaf in a gale as he handed the key to Seamus, Renee gazing at him with those eyes.

Seamus disrobed, crawling onto the bed for a restful night’s sleep. His eyes were closed when he felt a pressure on the bed near his body. “Can’t sleep?” He asked, knowing there would be no reply. Four limbs took turns caressing his thighs and stomach. “I guess not...” he chuckled, feeling his protector move over his body, reaching out to wrap his arms around her as she lowered herself onto him. And that was how the morning found them, the small dwarf wrapped in the arms of his lover, Renee watching over him with eyes unblinking.
