He Just Needs You
She buried herself in him. In his arms, in his chest, while he held onto her like a desperate child. He was completely undignified now.
Dart. She let the name slide through her mind. Thinking over ever letter with care. The way it sounded, the way people used it. She thought about how he had looked seven years ago, young and handsome, powerful and graceful, ambitious and honorable.
She couldn’t see any of that in him now. Now that he was holding onto her for dear life.
She let out a soft whimper as he crushed her to him. His still strong arms picking her up off the bed slightly and forcing her halfway into his lap.
“Dart.” She said softly. She wanted him to let go so badly, but at the same time she didn’t. That dark sick side of her, the wicked thing the sea dragon loved was hungry. It wanted him. Just as it had wanted and used up thousands of men before. She had wanted the experience.
She hadn’t become a dancer for the money after all.
He released her and bowed his head. “I’m sorry Meru.” He voice was meek.
She shook her head and wrapped her arms around one of his. “Don’t be. I’m here, I understand.”
He let out a soft sigh, it sounded like all his life was going out of him. Worried, she leapt up and kissed him softly on the cheek.
“You loved her, what’s important now is that you move on.” Meru told him softly.
He was silent, dark looking in the night. A small breeze crept over her back making her shiver.
Then he was on her again, so suddenly she almost refused him again. He kissed her, hard. Forcing her face up against his.
Her fallen hero, hers at last.
He was pushing his fingers into her loose hair. He was snaking his tongue into her mouth. He was on top of her faster then she could ever have expected from the aging warrior.
The thrill of sex was boiling her blood. She didn’t want to betray her husband, that sweet man who waited endlessly for her, but he could never ever give her this. He could never make her thighs quake with need, or make her hips drip with passion. He could never be her handsome young forbidden hero. Dart could, and though she was wholly taking advantage of the situation, she wouldn’t dare stop.
Her fingers felt along the edge of his pants for the strings holding them up. She plucked them apart gracefully like she had on so many other men. Their faces blurred in the back of her mind, while Dart’s sharp angled jaw and blond mane kept her attention.
He was threading his hands down over the satin blue ribbons, pulling them out forcefully. The clasp at her back he undid relish and the little ties on her revealing skirt were nearly ripped away.
He felt his pants drop free as she undid them herself. Anxious to not waste another moment he pulled away the red shirt he wore and then dove back upon her.
She looked haunting in the silvery light of the single moon. Her red eyes some gloomy shade of gray and her skin like a skeleton’s. He closed his eyes and saw Shana beneath him. Still as young and beautiful as Meru looked. Not the sickly woman that had passed away weeks before.
He entered her slowly, cautiously, almost frightened. But soon he lost his way in the fantasy of his dead wife. Her chocolate eyes and hair that always warmed his heart. The caress of her fingers against his jaw. Her soft hands on his back or neck. Her voice, sweeter then all the heavens.
Meru looked away. She could not stand to see his eyes closed. So she looked away from them, not completely away. She admired the way his arms flexed over and over again as he forced his way into her. She admired his chest, battle worn but remarkably smooth. His hair as it flopped around untamed and unkempt.
Most of all she admired herself. The way she looked naked, with such soft curves to her body. Her lovely little breasts and long legs. The way her hips looked natural cradling his.
She felt her body tighten about him as she eyed every detail but his eyes. He forced himself hard into her, gripping her hips now with his hands, dragging her upon him. She bit her lip, and dug her nails into his skin, and admired how it turned white as her own beneath them.
He moaned, and she echoed him, but it was only an echo. Soon this would be over. Soon she would need another because Dart would not want her in the morning.
She felt him shudder and dig deep a final time and she tightened her body around him wishing she could feel what he felt.
He moaned and then pulled her completely into his arms. Gripping her with a need that extended beyond sex. Meru closed her eyes now too, feeling emptier then she had before. Slowly, they both drifted away, into some place where even dreams dare not go.
Meru awoke with the hot sun on her face. She started to pry herself from his tight embrace.
“Please don’t leave me.” His pure blue eyes were open now. She wondered how long he’d been awake, how long he’d been looking at her.
“Please.” He said again, softly. She realized with a start that he meant it, really meant it. Don’t just leave in a week, or a month, don’t leave ever.
Her cold heart softened, and she stared at him, completely surprised. “I wont.” As soon as she said it the emptiness floated away.
