Doppleganger

Authors Note: I've been very pissed there are no stories I've come across with the dopplegang twins, so I decided to make one of my own. This story may or may not continue, it's all about how many reviews I get. I will consider requests and I will definately appreciate people telling me if I have errors, but beware, I don't edit before I write... Anyway, please review and most of all, please enjoy.

When Rayne awoke, she was unconscious on a rather comfortable surface. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around. When she realized she was no longer fighting the Nazi twins she felt a stab of dread shoot through her quickly.

The room was well lit; red drapes matched the blankets on top of the bed she way lying on. The walls were a nice cream colour and she could tell the room was very well kept from where she was laying. She looked down at herself, she was no longer wearing her twin blades, and all her weapons had been taken.

Had she lost? All she could remember was venturing around one side of the pillar and then a sharp pain on the back of her head. One of them had knocked her out cold while she searched for the other. She had no idea they were that intelligent.

Getting up she realized she was no longer wearing boots, only her pants and top. They were clearly holding her hostage, but she had no idea where. Brimstone would wonder where she was if they didn’t hear from her within fourty-eight hours. After that point, they would simply assume she died in amidst battle. She had to contact them, but she knew there was no easy way out.

Rayne stepped onto the black marble floor and walked over to the door on the far side of the room. It was wooden; she could break it if she tried. Tugging the door knob she realized she could open it easily. A little too easily she noted.

As Rayne stepped into the hallway, a familiar voice greeted her. “Hello Meine Liebe,”

The other voice completed the sentence, “We were wondering when you might awaken.”

She stared at the twins before her. Sigmund and Simon where out of there officer attire and were dressed rather casual with plain black slacks and white shirts with buttons up the middle. They looked better casual that was for sure, but she still couldn’t swallow back the guilt of losing.

Rayne held her confidence together. “Well, I see you pulled a fast one on me… Bet you can’t do it again.” Her tone was as sexy as always.

The brother laughed at her as she tried to remain calm. “Pretty one, we don’t want to hurt you,” Simon started.

“We simply want to keep you.” Sigmund finished.

“Keep me? Thanks, but no thanks.” Rayne scoffed.

“You don’t have a choice.” Sigmund drawled.

“We’ll see about that.” Rayne stepped forward ready to pummel them with her bare hands.

“You can’t win, join us!” Simon encouraged.

“Join you? I could never be a Nazi asshole like you.” Rayne had lost her flirtatious nature as she spoke words of venom.

“Ouch, that hurts, right brother?” Simon faked his emotions.

“We are willing to give you want you want, at a price of course.” Sigmund raised one brow as he made his proposition.

“You want what I want? You sure, because I’m pretty sure I want to rip both of your spines out.” She threatened.

“Wulf’s head.” A silence followed Sigmund’s statement.

Rayne stared at them. “You want his head? He’s your main man, he could bring you things Nazis dream of I thought.” Rayne’s disbelief echoed off the stone castle walls.

“No, he would simply kill us once he gets powerful enough, especially if he sees our distaste for him. We are willing to follow his orders but…” Sigmund started.

“We’d rather strike an opportune deal with you.” Simon smirked.

“You want to keep me if I agree?” She questioned not sure of the terms.

“No.” Simon shook his head.

“We will keep you anyway.” Sigmund answered her unasked question.

Rayne’s calm was faltering, but she tried her best to keep it from doing so, there had to be a way out, no matter how hard it seemed. It was clear what they wanted, but Rayne simply had to ask. “What is it you want?” She asked them.

The twins exchanged pleased looks. Clearly their plan was working. “We want to prevent your death at the castle,” Simon started.

“This can only occur of course if you ‘service’ us.” Sigmund looked Rayne up and down.

“Forever.” Simon smiled menacingly.

“Oh God…” Rayne aimed for disgust but it came out as dread.

“How about it… er… what is your name?” Simon asked.

“It’s Rayne...” She held an expression of annoyance.

“Rayne, such a pretty name,” Sigmund smiled pleased.

“For such a pretty girl.” Simon looked Rayne in the eyes.

Rayne silently decided which she faired better with, death or the possibility of freedom once more. Surely, this was a set up; she wanted more proof than this.

“Bring me Wulf’s head then I will agree to your terms.” She decided.

Sigmund stepped forward and bowed his head slightly. “As you wish… Rayne.” Smirking, he and Simon grabbed hold of Rayne, forcing her back inside the room and closed the door.

Rayne was about to rush through the door when she heard a loud clang on the other side. After a moment Rayne opened the door to see large metal bars that had been pulled from above the door frame.

Panicking, Rayne knew just how hard it would be to escape the castle; it would be even harder to reach Brimstone. Sitting down in a antique chair made of wood she sighed. She wasn’t entirely sure how she would service them, but what she guessed of it, she wouldn’t enjoy it at all.
