Disclaimer:
I do not own Silent Hill, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Prologue
AN: This takes place more in the book story line than the game one. I don't own Rebecca or hell most of the characters that are in this. The idea came when I was chatting with some friends in an RP community that I belong to. We were having fun with the fact that my Becky Chambers was so popular with the guys (Hey she's like everyone's baby sister right? Okay… so maybe not Claire's….) anyway, that Community that I'm in is a mix of characters from both Silent Hill and Resident Evil. I've only played Silent Hill 3. So… if I mess up some of the details I'm sorry. I'm going with how the characters are on the forum. I’ve also put Becky at 18.
And yes… the main pairings are: Billy Coen/Rebecca Pyramid head/Rebecca May be more added later.
Man… writing it that way…. Becky's a slut! XD Anyway, Konami and Capcom own most of the characters. Those who aren't owned by them are either extras I made up, or other players in the game. (Most likely I made characters up!) And I'm fudging around with a few details for this so that it would work for a fic. After all I had to figure out someway that the two games would co-exist without being games…..
If the muses have their way… May be a few Yaoi pairings too. *Keeping the muses curbed really!* *Yelps as one of the muses throws something at her.* Okay… I’ll have to slip in a few scenes… *Shudders* I should get tamer muses. Or take away the key to the liquor cabinet…
People, grab your brain bleach, you're going to need it.

Two Paths that should never cross
Prologue
He had been gone too long. She knew she should have stayed at the inn, but she was scared and wanted someone, even if the man was her father. Wondering the streets she tried to remember the layout of the town, which was an amazing fete in it’s self for the six-year-old brown haired girl.
It was hard to see through the fog, she held her stuffed animal close to her wondering again, why her daddy wouldn’t take her home.
/ Daddy hadn’t wanted to leave. / The voice in the back of her mind reminded her as she hugged the bunny closer. She wanted to scream, hoping that would make people come, but she also remembered the scary people that her father had talked to. / I find the police, or the hos’i’al people will be there. / She thought remembering when her daddy had burned her he had taken her to the second place to have it tended to. She remembered someone yelling at him, telling him it wasn’t time.
A man ran past after stomping on something. She had fallen back muffling a yelp, scared that the man would hurt her if he had seen her. He seemed too busy with what he was doing to look back.
Carefully moving up to what he had stomped on she saw the creature, as large as her hand, with a human like face. It snapped at her, trying to scurry away, but one of it’s legs was broken off. She frowned.
“It’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you.” She held out her hands to show she was unarmed. It seemed to calm allowing her to pick it up. “We find the hospital, I can see if a doctor there can make you all better.” She smiled cradling the small monster in her arms, careful to let it move if it wanted to.
It seemed okay with letting her carry it.
An hour later, and a few bumps and scratches on her knees, the little girl had found what she was looking for. Nurses were milling around in the reception area, but something seemed wrong with their appearance. Their faces weren’t there. She couldn’t explain what it was, but she couldn’t make out lips, or eyes on the figures that seemed to ignore her anyway. Being scared she hugged the bug closer to her moving deeper into the hospital hoping to find someone who looked normal. She didn’t want to say anything and have the nurses move towards her.
“This way…” A dark haired girl waved to her and turned running down a hall. She was dressed in a dress that looked a little funny to the younger girl, but at least the other one had a face.
“Wait!” She cried out following the girl to an elevator. She stepped in as one of the nurses moved towards her. Facing the door as it closed the smaller girl sank to her knees crying. She wanted her mommy; to top it off she wanted to go home, away from the fog, and the scary people.
The bug in her arms scurried awkwardly into her arms as if scared. She looked at it. “It’s okay, maybe she knows where the do’tors are.” She gave a weak grin. “They’ll fix you up and we can go…” She was about to say ‘find Daddy’, but she knew she didn’t want to find him. He’d hurt her again for running off. Hugging the creature in her arms she bit her lip. “Maybe we can find someone who will take me home…” It didn’t dawn on her that she was in the elevator with the bug alone. “I miss Mommy, and Wex…” She blinked when the elevator doors opened.
A girl that could have been the one from upstairs was waiting for her. She stood stepping out of the elevator. “You… you were upstai’s right?” She asked. “A do’tor, you know where one is? He was hurt. I want to make sure he okay.” She lifted the bug and the girl stepped back slightly.
“I’m sorry, I was curious about you. You don’t feel like the others.”
The younger girl blinked a moment; the older girl seemed to be hurt, her skin blackened for a moment, before it reverted to a pale girl. “You… you’re skin’s crinkly…” She saw sadness in the girl’s eyes as she returned to normal. “I… sowwy, your daddy hurt you didn’t he? Mine… says we’ll go home, I miss Mommy…” She hugged the bug closer. “I don’t have friends here, Daddy won’t let me leave… I had to sneak out…”
The older girl frowned and touched the younger’s shoulder. “I’ll be your friend. You shouldn’t be here though.” The older girl smiled softly, kneeling so that she was eye level with the younger. “You’ll be okay. I promise, he won’t hurt you again.” She moved carefully, brushing the hair from the girl’s dirty face.
“Pwomise?” The child bit her lip. She was starting to feel tired. When the older girl sat down on the floor she motioned for the other girl to join her.
The small girl curled up next to her, lulled to sleep as the older stroked her hair, still hugging the bug close. The older girl’s face showed concern though it softened when the girl had faded off.
A nurse in red looked at the two.
“Let her sleep. They’ll come to get her soon. I want no one to touch her.”

“Found her!” A man called as he found the small girl curled up on the floor of the burned out hospital. Her clothing was scuffed, though there was no trail on how the six year old had gotten there. She had a few bandages on her arms showing that she had been cared for.
The man’s call had seemed to woken, blinking when the light was shined on her face. Sitting up she rubbed at her eyes.
“Rebecca…” A woman brushed past the man, scooping up the small girl hugging her tightly. “Baby, I’ve been so worried about you.” The woman stayed kneeling on the ground holding the sleepy child.
“M..mommy?” She hugged the woman crying. “Mommy… I want to go home, please… like it was before… You and me and Daddy and Wex…. But Don’t want daddy mean…” She felt the woman tense a little and looked around. She saw her mom’s friend. The man moved closer to them. “He’s not going to hurt you anymore Rebecca. I won’t let him hurt you again.” He touched her cheek lightly. “You and your mom are going to come live with me. Rex too, and we’ll get a kitty, how’s that sound?”
The little girl thought a moment and nodded turning in her mom’s arms to hug him. “Can we get the swing you promised?” She let him take her from her mom and clung to him.
“Janice, it’s okay, we found her, we can get her home.” He wrapped a free arm around her mom moving to escort them out. “We’ll figure out the rest later, right now we need to get her to a hospital, make sure she’s okay.” He smiled at the little girl. “We won’t leave you alone okay Becky. I just want to make sure you’re not going to get sick.”
She nodded hugging his neck as she watched behind them. She waved at something she saw. “I’ll come play again later. Gonna go get a bandaid then I’ll be all better and we can play.”
“Who you talking to honey?”
She looked at her mother. “My friend. She said Daddy wouldn’t hurt me again, then you and Mike found me.” She reached over hugging her mom again.
