The Original Ion

“Ion!” Arietta called. She ordered her wolf companion to attack a monster that was quickly closing in on Ion. It tore it to shreds in seconds. Arietta ran to his side. “Are you okay?”

“Yes, thank you Arietta. You saved me again,” Ion laughed. His laughed turned to a cough and Arietta tensed up. Ion coughed in his hand.

“Ion?!” she asked, concerned.

“Just a cold, don’t worry so much, Arietta,” he smiled. She blushed every time he smiled at her. Ion hid his hand behind his back. Ion knew it wasn’t a cold; he coughed up some blood into his hand. He’s been doing that for the last few days and hasn’t told anyone yet. Especially Arietta, she’d lose sleep over something like this.

“Well still,” she turned so Ion wouldn’t notice she was blushing. “If you’re sick, you should see a doctor.”

“Yes, I was actually planning on it.” Ion said. It was the truth; Ion had an unhealthy body. In fact, Ion feared that he might die soon. Coughing up blood is always a bad sign.

Later…

“You have less than a week,” the doctor said. Ion had told him to be blunt and just say how he was doing, but the doctor still could have beat around the bush a little bit. The doctor rubbed the back of his head and sighed; he knew that this day would come.

“Just as I feared…” Ion said. Ion was a selfless and caring person, but he could often be stern and demanding. (Unlike the Ion you see in the game. Keep in mind that the original Ion is a different person than Ion the replica, like Luke and Ache.)

“You could stay in the hospital, we can extend your life a few days, after all.” the doctor suggested.

“I suppose that’s best, but before I do, I want to do something before I die. It won’t too long,” Ion said. The doctor nodded and Ion left for the Cathedral. He asked Arietta to accompany him to his room and she followed him. Ion would need to lie to her; he hated doing that. He lied to keep his secret a secret, but it hurt every time he did so.

When they got to the bedroom, Ion asked Arietta to sit on the bed. Ion sat next to her; Arietta blushed a bit, but shoved her thoughts aside and knew that this was serious. “Did you see the doctor?” she asked. Ion nodded; a shiver ran down Arietta’s back. Arietta knew that when Ion nods and doesn’t respond with words, something bad was going to happen. “What did he say?” Arietta’s voice was a bit shaky. She didn’t really want to know, but she asked anyway.

Ion had his usual stare on; he always had a serious look on his face that made it difficult to tell what he was thinking. His eyes sometimes gave him away, though. Another way Arietta could tell that something was wrong. “He says I’ll need to come back tomorrow, I may need to stay a few days.”

“Is it serious?” she asked. Ion hesitated before saying that he could die. He knew he would die, but didn’t have the heart to tell Arietta. Arietta’s voice got caught in her throat and her face went white.

“It’s some…complicated medical condition. My body’s trying to give out,” he smiled.

“How can you smile after saying that?” she asked. The silence that followed proved to Arietta that he was done talking about it. Arietta didn’t want to be left in the dark; she had a feeling that she would never see him after this. She could almost feel him drift away. Arietta was about to say something else, but Ion suddenly spoke.

“Don’t worry…”

“How can I not worry?!” Arietta stood up. Ion was surprised by the sudden outburst; Arietta usually doesn’t get this worked up. “You could die and you tell me not to worry?!” she yelled.

Ion stood up and looked into her eyes, she saw the serious expression in his eyes and calmed down. The expression in his eyes then turned form serious to sad. “Arietta…don’t worry,” Ion raised his hand and stroked her cheek. “It makes me sad every time I see you worry.”

Arietta took a step back, swatted his hand away and blushed. “Wh-what’re you saying?” she asked, flustered.

“I’m just saying don’t worry. I’ll be fine,” there was a pause, “Well, I need to get some rest, so you may go now.” Ion sat back down on his bed. Arietta nodded and took a step for the door; when she did a cold chill ran down her back. She shook her head and took a few more steps and she felt cold. She turned and saw him and then a feeling came over her that she’d never see him again. She felt alone, like she was in a dark room and her light was sitting behind her. Every step away from Ion was another step away from her light. A tear rolled down her cheek.

“Arietta? Is something wrong?” Ion asked seeing her just standing and staring at the door. She turned and he saw tears streaking down her face, she didn’t say a word. Ion stood up, “Arietta, what’s wrong?”

‘I can’t stand it…’ she thought to herself. Without a word she ran forward and threw her arms around Ion. The force of this caused Ion to fall backwards onto the bed. She cried, her face buried in his chest; Ion’s brain was still processing what just happened. He slowly returned the hug and they stayed like that for a while. Ion’s rational mind was short-circuited and he didn’t know what to say. Arietta broke the silence, “Don’t leave me…”

“Arietta…I…” Ion couldn’t find the words to finish his sentence.

“Why won’t you say something?” she asked. Ion didn’t respond. Arietta got off him and turned to the door. She stayed standing there for a while. “Won’t you stop me?” she asked. Ion still didn’t do anything. She turned her head around and she had an incredibly hurt expression in her eyes; tears were streaming down her face. Her expression then became angry. “Fine! Be that way!” she said. She turned her face back around and walked to the door.

Acting on sudden impulse, Ion jumped up and ran forward. He grabbed her hand and stopped her from opening the door. Time stood still and Ion wondered what to do. ‘What if I let go? Will it be easier if she hated me when I die? Will she hate me if I let go?’ he thought. His grip loosened a bit, then it tightened, almost to the point where it hurt a bit. ‘But I…’ Ion turned her around and hugged her, ‘…don’t want to let go.’ Ion kissed her.

Arietta returned his embrace; her crying didn’t stop, but it wasn’t tears of sadness. Instinct took over and Ion eased her on her back. Arietta’s hair was sprawled on the ground around her head in a messy style. They broke the kiss for air and looked into each other’s eyes. Arietta’s hat had fallen off, but neither paid any mind to it.

“Ion I…” she began.

“Shhhhh…” Ion hushed her. Arietta smiled and waited for him to do something. Ion, now moving purely by instinct, slipped her pants and panties off. Arietta blushed and closed her eyes slightly, as if afraid that Ion wouldn’t like what he saw. Those ridiculous thoughts were soon forgotten when something touched her pussy, something moist and rough. She sat up and squealed; it was his tongue. Arietta’s breathing became labored as Ion licked around her entrance, toying with her.

Ion slipped his tongue in, making a slurping sound as he did. The waves of pleasure washed over Arietta, she grabbed Ion’s hair and pulled him slightly. Ion continued, making loud slurping sounds as he licked her. Arietta was loudly moaning, she was kind of loud but Ion didn’t care. They were in a pretty secluded area so they didn’t need to worry about being caught.

Ion ran his tongue over a certain spot and Arietta squealed, pulling his face tightly against her pussy. This made it difficult to breathe for Ion, but he didn’t slow down. He continued licking around that same spot, loud screams came from his partner as he did. She kept pulling him tighter and tighter against her lap, and more and more fluid came out. Ion’s air was almost completely cut off, but he really wasn’t thinking about that right now.

Arietta was shouting illegible words between heavy breaths. Finally, a warm gush of fluid hit Ion in the face. Arietta screamed and Ion pulled away in surprise. His face and the floor were soaked; Arietta was sweating bullets and lying on her back. She was gasping for air, but looked very happy.

Ion wiped the fluid from his face; it stung his eyes. He felt like he almost drowned on it. “Ion…?” he was snapped from his thoughts by Arietta’s voice; her voice and eyes filled with lust. Ion was wondering if he should stop. It would be a big mistake if they continued, but when he saw the look in her eyes, that eagerness and lust, he couldn’t help himself.

‘Too late to turn back now.’ he thought as he fumbled with his belt. A smile crossed Arietta’s face, she wanted to sit up and help him, but she wanted him to be dominant. It would ruin it if she did anything without permission, all she needed to do right now was sit back and enjoy the ride.

Ion finally got his pants off and took a moment to enjoy the moment. Arietta’s eyes were glued to his cock; she whined in anticipation; she wanted it so badly it actually hurt. Ion positioned himself, holding on to her thighs; Arietta’s eyes begged him to continue. Ion slid in, meeting her resistance. Arietta was a bit scared, but Ion’s smile reassured her. Ion broke her hymn; Arietta clenched her teeth and shut her eyes and a tear streaked down her cheek.

Ion waited for her to get used to the pain, then the fun began. He slid back and forth, Arietta sat back up a bit, clenching her fists shut. She needed to grab hold of something, but there wasn’t anything on the floor to grab hold of. She grabbed Ion’s shoulders. Her legs felt quivers and she needed to hold something with them as well, so she wrapped them around Ion’s waist.

Regardless of the fact that they were in a place where nobody could catch them, Ion fought against the urge to make noise. Arietta, on the other hand, was yelling his name. Every time she did Ion couldn’t help but quicken the pace. He started slow, but now he was moving at a decent pace. Arietta was screaming her head off, her throat was getting raw, but she didn’t care. Ion’s resistance to yell was quickly fading; he moaned Arietta’s name and that enhanced the pleasure for her. Ion’s pace was quickening and Arietta loved every moment of it. Arietta’s screams now consisted of only Ion’s name and the word: faster.

Arietta’s pussy clenched around Ion’s cock and another warm gush of fluid came out. Ion used all of his restraint to not reach his own peak at the risk of making her pregnant. Her orgasm lasted a few seconds, then she let go of him and fell back; she was exhausted. Ion pulled out of her, he never had his sexual release and he felt very sad as he felt the pressure in his balls fade away. It didn’t matter, though; Arietta was happy right now.

“Ion…” she breathed. Ion hushed her again.

“Sleep here tonight, okay?” Ion smiled. They laid down next to each other and fell asleep right there on the floor by the door.

The next morning Arietta woke up alone. She looked around and found a not on the ground; she picked it up:

Dear Arietta
Last night was the greatest night of my life. I’m sorry if it seemed as if I was taking advantage of you; I promise you I wasn’t. I’m going to the doctor’s for a few days. I’m sorry I couldn’t have woken up with you. Remember, I promised I’d see you again, so there is no need to worry about me.
Fon Master Ion

Arietta felt that chill she had from yesterday. It was a cold feeling; she felt like she’d never see him again. She told herself she had to be strong and put her pants back on. As she left Ion’s room she cried, no matter how hard she tried she couldn’t shake the feeling from her. The worst part was that there was nothing she could do.

Ion knew he couldn’t keep his promise and he’d really never see her again. He died feeling like a monster, not for what he did, but for what he couldn’t do for Arietta.
