Dorm Life

This is a story about Mia and Lana in college. Lesbianism, ahoy! If you read my other fic then you realize a lot of this is very similar. This is the result of me going through it and completely editing it, because I didn't like where the story headed. So we have this instead. One Shot. Mia X Lana. Some Diego. Read and review please!

THE BEGINNING------

It was late. Mia rubbed her eyes tiredly and glanced at the clock on the computer. It was nearly midnight. She sighed -- she had less than ten hours to complete her essay.

“I could take a two-hour nap, five minute shower, and eat a quick meal,” she thought. “I still have a few hours to finish.”

As if reading her mind, the brunette next to her said, “C’mon, I’ll heat up the saimin.” Next to her was Lana Skye. They had been given a group project, which they had left to the last possible day to complete.

“Hmm,” Lana thought to herself. “Mia Fey and Lana Skye, top students of the class, procrastinating. What a great example we set.”

Mia saved the file, and they stood up. They stretched to ease the tension that had accumulated from sitting at the computer for so long.

“We started at 3:30 PM,” Mia said to Lana.

“Mmm,” was Lana’s reply.

They silently made their way to the nearby café, where Lana promptly deposited some coins into a vending machine. She returned with two Cup Noodles, filled them with water and put it into the microwave. Mia took the opportunity to complain about the project while waiting for the food.

“I don’t see why law students have to take Anthropology; it’s stupid,” she whined.

Lana nodded her head in agreement. “It makes no sense. What a waste of time. But, I think two more pages should be sufficient. Then we can call it quits.”

“Got it,” Mia replied. “I think I need a shower though, I smell worse than Diego’s blends.”

Her comment got a small laugh from Lana. “Possibly worse,” she said with a smile. “I need a bath too though. Are you finished eating?”

Mia finished her noodles and got up. The girls headed back to the dorms; Lana’s room was a few doors away from Mia’s.

“So how are you and Diego?” Lana questioned. Mia and Diego Armando were in a rocky three-month relationship. But Lana considered, if you take the time they
were off as opposed to on, she supposed it could be like a month-and-a-half.

Mia’s eyes shifted; she seemed to be pondering the question. “I don’t know,” she answered finally.

Lana’s eyebrows arched, but she said nothing.

“I thought he was special,” she continued, “like he cared about me, but I think he just wants...”

Mia trailed off and stopped talking.

“I think he assumes I’ll always be here to run to. But I’m not anyone’s option,” she said suddenly. Lana got the feeling Mia wasn’t really saying it to her, just to the general atmosphere.

“Oh,” was all she could say. Lana wasn’t that great with relationships either, considering her past.

They walked in silence the rest of the way.

“Meet you here in two minutes,” Lana said, and both girls went into their rooms. They returned with their toiletries and clothes.

As they made their way to the showers, Mia spoke. “I just don’t get him. He just takes me for granted, and he’s always flirting with that other girl. Then he turns around and tells me he needs me. But you can’t deny he’s goddamn sexy.” She sighed. “I just don’t know what to do.”

“You know what I think,” Lana said quietly. “Just have sex with him every night. Cause you’re always in a better mood the morning after you get laid!” She doubled
over with laughter. “I can’t believe you!” Mia shot back.

“We have this discussion every week! Just screw him and get it over with,” Lana added hysterically.

“What?!” was Mia’s only reply to her friend’s sudden change of character.

Yet Mia contemplated her answer as they stepped into the showers. She just wasn’t sure she loved Diego that much. And Lana was right; the sex was great. Would no commitments solve the problem? As she stepped out of the shower, she forced the issue into the back of her mind.

“I’ll think about him later,” Mia told herself.

They went back to Lana’s room, where Mia sat herself down on the familiar couch, and sighed. She felt better now, less stressed.

“Three-thirty good?” Lana asked as she set the alarm.

“Yeah, I think I’ll feel better then,” Mia replied and she lowered her head. “And maybe some brain cells will regenerate in those few hours so we can finish that stupid report.”

Lana snorted. “You need those five brain cells. You’re on a limited supply.”

“Whatever.”

As they trailed off into much needed sleep, Lana said something to Mia. “You deserve better.”

Mia considered her words as she closed her eyes. Maybe she was right. Lana usually was. But it was still…..

Lana slowly walked across the quad. “Thank God that paper is done,” she thought as she pressed her fingers to her temple. She had a throbbing headache from the lack of sleep, not to mention from staring at a computer screen all night.

She started going over her mental checklist. “Report, done, class at ten, done, class at eleven, done, lunch…” she glanced at her watch, “now, dark laundry, after two o‘clock class, and start English essay tonight.” She had everything in order. Lana didn’t particularly pay attention to the people looking at her.

“It must be strange seeing me mumble to myself,” she supposed. But something caught her attention.

Mia was sitting under the oak tree off the sidewalk. Her head on her hands, and her bag tossed carelessly off to the side.

“Armando,” Lana mused to herself. To tell the truth, she kind of enjoyed listening to Mia whine about him. Listening to the way she talked about him, and watching them together, it was intriguing. They were a sexy pair, she thought. Everywhere they went together, people constantly did double takes. It was as if seeing them once wasn’t enough, they had to look again at the sex appeal oozing from the couple.

Some dirty thoughts penetrated her mind then, and a vision of a threesome of the pair made her face grow hot. After realizing what she was daydreaming about, Lana scolded herself and attempted to clear her expression before sitting down next to Mia.

“Mia?” Lana said quietly. Mia looked up at Lana. Her eyes were swollen, but she wasn’t sobbing. Lana sat next to Mia and opened her arms.

“We’re done,” Mia said softly as she leaned into Lana. There was no anger, no sadness. It was just a simple statement of facts.

“It’s okay,” Lana cooed. And that was all she said. That was all she had to say. They both knew what was needed and unneeded. Mia expected nothing more from her.

“It was because of tea,” Mia said. “I told him I wanted green tea, and he insisted coffee was better. He kept insisting, trying to keep controlling me, and I had had
it.”

Lana listened intently, giving patient nods as Mia explained her story.

“It’s kind of silly huh?” Mia questioned. She wore a look of confusion.

“Well, yeah,” Lana commented. “Men always make life more difficult. Don’t waste time on them.”

She smiled at Mia, whose mood shifted. Lana always did know how to get her out of a funk.

“Yeah! Men! Who needs them,” Mia cried out.

The girls spent the rest of the evening watching G.I. Jane and complaining about guys.

The next week, Lana and Mia gabbed as the walked through the university. As they made their way from English class to Forensics lab, a tall figure joined them.

“Mia, can I talk to you?” the dark figure asked. He was dark, slender and terribly handsome. His voice reminded Mia of the coffee he often drank, deep and rich. But at this moment, she didn’t care to hear his voice.

“Actually, no. I’m going to a lecture,” she said icily. Even if she didn’t say a thing, her eyes did most of the speaking; they would’ve made lava freeze. But Diego was unfazed.

“What about after?” he looked sincere, which was a difference, she noted mentally.

“I’m helping Lana with her essay tonight,” Mia added, as Lana’s eyebrows went up.

“After that?” he said smoothly.

Realizing he was not getting the point, Mia firmly said, “I have no desire to talk to you ever again, unless you are asking me if I want fries with that.”

His mouth opened to say something, but she cut him off.

“Or paper or plastic,” she added menacingly.

Lana suppressed a grin. “Catty today, aren’t we?” she thought.

Mia turned on her heel, looped her arm in Lana’s and they made their way to their next class.

“Helping me with my essay tonight?” Lana posed as the girls slipped on their lab coats.

Mia rolled her eyes. They both knew it was an excuse, but Lana couldn’t resist the opportunity to make fun of it.

“Can we just drop it?” Mia said as the professor strode in the room.

The day’s lab was about ballistics. The girls had to determine entry points and range of fire.

“Simple,” Lana thought. “An hour at the most.” Sure enough, Lana was finished with her experiment in forty short minutes. Mia, on the other hand, was having no such luck.

“This is ridiculous,” she cried in frustration. “I have followed the exact steps that were listed. Why is this not working?”

Still the epitome of calm and cool, Lana pulled her goggles over her face and explained the theory to Mia in a careless tone.

“If the density entered in the elemental analyzer is wrong, the metallurgical outputs will be erroneous. And keep the print from touching anything, or else it’ll give
you the barrel read out. “

Mia followed Lana’s instructions. The results returned as expected, and Mia was finally finished. Lana pulled her gloves off and stowed her safety goggles.

“Nice work. I found that lab to be quite satisfactory, although I do think the impure samples altered the results,” she added in a crisp manner. She turned to pack her things.

Mia wore a small smile as she cleaned up.

“Reminds me of the first time I met her…”

“What are you doing,” Lana asked as Mia wore a glazed expression. “You’ve been wiping that counter for a long time. What are you thinking about?”

Cocking her head to the right and wearing that same smile, Mia replied, “Nothing that concerns you…”

“416, 418, 420, 422….Where is 419?” Mia asked herself.

“Excuse me,” someone said, as they moved past Lana. “A girl, she looks about my age,” thought Mia. “Should I follow?”

Deciding she was out of other options, Mia followed the girl down the hallway and around the corner, where the girl pulled on a door handle and disappeared.

Mia spied the room tag, and sure enough, it was 419. She entered the room, and picked a seat away from everyone else, on the end of a row. She looked around and saw there were about forty other students in the class. In the second row, she spied a familiar back of the head. It was the girl she followed to class. As if feeling her eyes, the girl turned to look at her.

“Ack! Caught!” Mia snapped her eyes to the front. Luckily, the professor walked in at that moment, and class started.

Strangely though, Mia found her thoughts wandering back to this girl. She answered nearly all of the professor’s questions, and Mia became curious about this imperturbable figure. Mia was clearly intrigued by this woman.

She was a slender brunette, with smooth, shiny hair, and “dark brown eyes, if I remember correctly Mia noted. “Quite pretty too.” Other than that, Mia found it hard to describe this girl. From her first impression, she just seemed like the embodiment of poise. She had an air of confidence emanating around her, yet never seemed to come off as arrogant. And judging by the guys, and only guys, surrounding every single seat around her, she was quite popular.

“Who is she?” Mia wondered all class.

After the class ended, Mia politely asked one of the other students who the girl was.

“You mean the one that knows all the answers? She’s Lana Skye. She’s already been asked to help in the forensics department at the police station.”

“Wow,” Mia thought. “I should write down that name. Where’s my notebook?”

Mia whirled around to look for her portfolio.

“AHHH!” Papers went flying, and there was a mess of papers and skirts on the floor.

“I’m so, so sorry!” Mia cried frantically while trying to scoop up the papers.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about it,” said a familiar tone.

Mia looked up. To her horror, it was that very brunette she had been watching.

“Lana Skye?” she uttered before thinking.

“I’m sorry; have we met before?’ the girl asked quizzically.

“Oh – ah no—but I followed you to class today,” Mia tried to explain.

“I’m sorry?” the girl said with an even more puzzled expression.

“Great, now she thinks I’m a stalker,” Mia chided herself.

Tying to regroup, she explained, “I’m auditing the class, and I couldn’t find the room. Sorry.”

“I see,” the girl said, “But I don’t understand how you knew my name.”

“Oh well, I asked one of the guys in class, since you really know the subject material. What do you think of the class?”

“Well, I believe that class is satisfactory; however, this class is one of opinions and unproven sciences, therefore I believe the results we arrive at are impure and
have been impeded my human misunderstanding.”

Her response was exactly how Mia pictured its speaker as: cool, calm and collect.

“I see,” Mia answered. “All I wanted was to know if the class was easy or hard,” she thought to herself.

Lana straightened up and held her papers in her arms.

“Very well, it was nice meeting you Ms.----“

“Oh, ah—Fey,” Mia added hastily.

“Yes, goodbye.”

“Wow,” Mia whistled. “Is she flawless or what?”

Mia snapped back to the present. The event always made her blush; she still couldn’t forget the embarrassment she felt after almost admitting to stalking Lana. She couldn’t remember exactly how long ago that was, but she knew it was before she met Diego, and after her first semester. Ugh, Diego. It was going to take a lot for her to take him back. She decided it would just be better if she stopped thinking about him.

“…and the prosecution of perjury is of the utmost importance because it….” Lana read her paper back silently. “What next though,” she thought. Her essay was not done yet, despite the time and effort she put into it. She glanced at the clock, which read eight-thirty.

“Still early,” she said softly. If necessary, she could pull an all-nighter. She pushed her hair out of her face. She put her head on her hands, sighing softly.

“Maybe just five minutes,” she thought tiredly.

“Where’s your roommate?” Mia called from the couch. “Does she even live here anymore?”

Lana glanced up at Mia, who was chewing on something, watching House.

“Ah, I think she spends most of her time sleeping at her boyfriend’s place,” she replied. “And stop eating all my mochi!” she added after a second.

“Oops,” said Mia, and she returned the mochi to the kitchen.

Mia looked down at Lana, whose eyes were closed and head on her hands. Looks like it was her turn to help out her friend.

“Get up,” Mia said as she shoved Lana awake. “You’re almost done. Just finish it already.”

“It’s no use, Mia,” Lana said, “I’m tired. A short rest might help.”

“Why? So you can regenerate your five brain cells,” Mia replied smartly.

“Ah ha,” Lana replied with a fake laugh. She put her head back on the counter. Mia shook her awake again.

“Come on, I’ll help.” She picked up Lana’s hands and put them on the keyboard. Lana became acutely aware of how warm Mia’s hands were as they rested on top
hers. Lana felt herself melt into Mia. After such a long day, the warmth from her body was mesmerizing. Until Lana realized what she was doing. She gave Mia a quick shove.

“I can’t concentrate if your boobs are in the way, Mia,” Lana smirked.

Mia stepped back slightly before grinning. “Oh, jealous are we?”

“No, because I can still run faster, and you’ll have back problems later,” Lana said, laying her head back down.

Mia gave a little chuckle.

“It looks like I wound up helping you with your essay after all.”

Lana smiled.

December rolled around, and so did the winter chill along with it. There was a light fall of snow outside, and the girls took every opportunity they had to play in it.
After being thoroughly soaked to the bone, the girls headed in.

“Damnit!” Mia cried. “I locked my key in my room!”

Lana sighed. “Follow me.”

By the time Mia got out of her wet clothes, she had developed a case of the shivers. Lana turned the heater on full blast, and wrapped Mia in a furry blanket.

Lana handed Mia a mug of hot chocolate, which she accepted gratefully. The girls sat in (mostly) silence, as Mia’s chattering teeth died away. Then she decided to pierce the quiet.

“Lana, how did we become friends? I mean, I thought you hated me after I nearly clotheslined you, and I don’t know, now that I think about it, I just think we’re so different.”

Lana sipped her cocoa as she pondered the question. “Well, I do remember you disorganizing my 10,000 word report…”

“Oops,” Mia apologized. Her face grew beet red. “I know. I’m a clod.”

“But I also remember you being a pretty attentive student,” Lana continued. “You know your stuff, and that’s how it should be.

“I’m not really sure how we became friends. I think I just had the misfortune of having you in several of my classes and even more bad luck of being partnered with you. It was class policy to attempt to pair younger with the more experienced.”

“Uh huh,” Mia replied.

“Typical Lana,” she thought, “Superfluous was never in her vocabulary. And neither was empathy.”

“Lana, I—“

Mia’s words were interrupted by a large snap from the heater. Lana kneeled at the contraption and attempted to figure out what was going on.

“Broken,” she finally concluded. “Some sort of short.”

“Well, that’s great. My roommate’s not coming home until three! We’re gonna freeze!” Mia whined.

“Oh, shut up,” Lana said, and in her usual clipped tone added,” We’ll be fine, body heat is one of the best ways to keep warm.”

Then she went over to the kitchen and started to boil some water. Lana then walked to her closet, pulled down some extra blankets, and even stole her roommate’s lambskin blanket, just for good measure. She used the boiling water to make hot water bottles, which she stuck at the foot of her bed. By the time she had finished getting everything ready, Mia was catatonic and had developed the shivers again.

Lana pulled her onto her bed and under all the covers she had made.

“So-o-o-o c-c-co-ooold-ld.” Mia uttered, as she was attempting to wrap blankets around her.

“Shhh,” Lana said, as she pulled Mia into her and started rubbing her back vigorously. Mia’s chatters slowly died down.

“Thanks,” Mia managed to purr as she nuzzled her face into Lana’s chest.

Lana, remembering the electrifying heat from Mia’s body, simply sighed and draped her leg around Mia’s as they drifted off to sleep.

Mia opened her eyes slowly. It was still dark.

“What time is it? There’s no clock anywhere. Where is the clock that I hung by the window? Oh, ack! I’m not even in my room, this is Lana’s….bed.” Mia looked at the brunette’s sleeping face. It was so peaceful. Mia felt Lana’s arms around her, and the heat from her legs.

“I don’t think there’s another place that I’d rather be right now,” Mia thought to herself. “But I’ll be damned it anyone else ever knows it.” She looked back up at Lana’s face again, only this time, her eyes were open.

“AIYEE!!” Mia screamed, and jumped off the mattress.

Lana bolted upright.

“What?! What?!” she cried.

“I’m sorry,” Mia apologized, “but your eyes were open and you scared me!”

“Okay, just come back to bed before you get sick,” Lana scolded. Then she added, “And I’m sorry for scaring you, but you kept moving, and you woke me up.” She held
the blanket up so Mia could crawl back in.

She rolled into bed and until she was face to face with Lana.

“Lana? Can I ask you something?”

Lana, already drifting back off to sleep, only nodded.

“Can you do something for me? Anything?”

Again, Lana responded with a nod.

“Anything, Lana? Are you sure?” Mia’s voice quavered a little.

This time, Lana responded with a small, “What is it?”

“You’ll know, and if you don’t want to, you’ll know how to say no too.”

“Ok,” Lana again replied in a small voice; her eyes still closed.

Mia leaned over to the sleeping body, and slowly pressed her lips into Lana’s. Mia stayed still for a little while, halfway between thinking she never wants to move and thinking that she should stop this right now. Before she did either though, Lana kissed back, only this kiss was more passionate.

That warmth that Lana knew only came from Mia was now filling her up, and whatever tiredness she felt was pushed out of her body. All she knew was Mia’s lips.

Mia pushed back. She tilted her head a little and thrust her tongue into Lana’s mouth. She probed in Lana’s mouth, until finding her tongue and the two intertwined and danced. Never, Mia noted mentally, had she ever shared a kiss like this with Diego. One that made her feel complete, and that she had never belonged anywhere else.

She pushed Lana onto her back, pulling the many blankets over her head at the same time. Not once did their lip lock break. Then, Mia’s hands began to explore Lana’s body. Her lips finally broke free of the kiss and she pressed them into the soft underside of Lana’s chin. She slowly worked her way down, to her collarbone, but Lana’s shirt was an obstacle.

Feeling Mia’s lips leave her skin, Lana gave a small moan and opened her eyes. Mia was pulling off her pajamas and undoing her underwear. After she was naked, she proceeded to remove any piece of clothing Lana was wearing.

Resuming the kisses, Mia picked up where she left off, and because clothes were no longer obstructing her, her left hand found Lana’s nipple. Slowly, she twisted it and pulled until it became hard, at which point Mia’s hand moved down between Lana’s legs.

Mia stroked Lana’s labia a few times, spreading the wetness already present. Mia’s kisses slowly worked their way down. Mia licked Lana’s clit, making it even wetter, before thrusting her tongue into Lana two quick times. Lana’s legs bucked from the pleasure, and a small groan escaped her lips. Mia replaced her tongue with her left hand, and her kisses slowly began working their way back up.

Lana grasped Mia’s chin and pulled her face towards her where the two girls shared another kiss. Mia’s hand was working wonders. Her middle finger was up Lana’s vagina, and her thumb was fondling Lana’s clitoris.

Lana groaned from the intense pleasure. If they didn’t stop soon, she was going to cum already. So Lana pushed Mia and rolled over on top.

Lana removed Mia’s hand and then straddled her hips. Slowly, arching her back and then thrusting her hips, Lana built a rhythym. She had a slow grind, and reaching behind her, she started fingering Mia’s cunt. Mia’s eyes shut and she was uttering low moans that made Lana pick up her tempo. In equal timing, Lana pleasured Mia and kept her clit grinding over Mia’s flat stomach.

The groans gradually got louder and faster until their orgasms washed out of them. Riding out the cascade, Lana collapsed onto Mia, and the two lay there panting.

But Mia wasn’t done. She rolled over onto Lana again, and this time intertwined their legs so their pussies met. Lana, still sensitive from her orgasm, bucked from the sudden touch. Mia still lusted for more though, and she slowly built a rhythm similar to Lana’s previous one. It didn’t take long for their next orgasm, Mia kept grinding her hips into Lana and the pleasure only built and built. The two couldn’t stop. Their groans filled and room and anyone could’ve heard them, but they didn’t care.

The climax crashed down like a tidal wave, and like a shore, the waves kept breaking and breaking. The pleasure was so intense and so tiring that the girls couldn’t move after.

Mia, still panting heavily from her multiple, turned to Lana, “Thank you. I needed that.”

“You’re welcome. But this isn’t permanent. You know that, right?”

“I know, but still thank you. No one will know.” Mia closed her eyes and nodded off.
