The Sting of a Scorpion

Even for a ninja spectre, the hellish place dubbed as the Netherrealm was just too fucking hot. Scorpion was sick and tired of being herded like an animal just to eventually be sent back to this wretched place over and over again. It seemed that once he had so much as tasted a lick of freedom, the Elder Gods would rush him back to the sorry excuse of a realm that he reluctantly called "home" the majority of the time. Scorpion loathed the Elder Gods. After promising him that they would resurrect his clan to its full, powerful, and healthy self again, the hellspawn felt the overwhelming bittersweetness of it all. Although they kept their promise and Scorpion had his clan again, they were weak and undead such as he. Would his constantly tormented soul ever find peace?

The ninja spectre snapped his head to the right suddenly as he was instantly on the alert: he was not alone here. Of course, Scorpion had always known that the realm was filled to the brim with evil sorcerers, powerful creatures, and mysterious Oni, but he couldn't help but be simply curious about the noise. He gripped the handle to his trusty sword instinctively as he cautiously moved across the molten earth, steam erupting through the cracks of the ground that he dared tread upon. His white eyes stared out at the scene that was taking place before him: Noob Saibot's younger brother, Sub-Zero, was intensely fighting with one of the most powerful of the Oni creatures, Moloch. The sight baffled the hellspawn. Why in the Elder Gods' name was the Lin Kuei grandmaster in the Netherrealm of all places? Obviously fascinated, Scorpion just hung back, watching the raging battle ensue. The ice master appeared to be doing quite well in kombat alone against the towering blue beast, until Moloch let out a blood-curdling howl. Caught off guard, Sub-Zero could feel razor sharp claws the size of bananas sink into his cool flesh as the Oni shoved him up against a rock wall. Moloch's chains and other broken confinements rattled loudly as he snapped his jaws ferociously, froth and foam oozing from the dry, cracked corners of his large mouth. Before Moloch could completely sink his claws into Sub-Zero's neck and rip out his spine and then feast upon the remains, the gigantic monster roared and stumbled away, suddenly realizing that a red-hot blade was shoved all the way through his massive neck. Moloch tried and tried again (rather fruitlessly) to wrench the cursed sword from him, but it would not budge. Sub-Zero stared in wonder as Scorpion himself jumped on the huge being, grabbing a hold of his blade as he furiously yanked it sideways as a loud cry of strain and satisfaction spilled out into the air. The end result caused the Oni's head to be half-severred as he fell, his dark red essence gushing from the massive wound in his throat as it seeped into the lava-filled crevaces below.

Sub-Zero swallowed rather loudly as he merely stared at his savior, dumbfounded. He was bleeding rather heavily from where those sharp nails had pierced his soft skin only moments ago, but he was certain that he would live. Things could have been far worse, as far as he was concerned.

"You saved my life," the pale fighter said slowly, awkwardly. "But why?" he inquired.

Scorpion slammed his bloodied weapon into its appropriate holder as his fierce eyes seemed to burn savage holes into the man before him. Just why exactly had he just saved his life? He could have just left him there to try and fend off the enraged Moloch, he could have allowed him to die. But he hadn't.

"It isn't you that I'm after. I vowed never to kill or harm you and I never want to see anyone die at the hands of the Oni, Moloch." This was the only answer he could come up with. However, even though Scorpion promised never to hurt Noob Saibot's younger brother, the two had treated each other like eternal enemies ever since, which, quite frankly, they were. If they ever saw each other, a fierce competition always seemed to follow, but this time was different. Nonetheless, the ninja spectre reckoned with himself that no one should deserve to die at the slobbering jaws of Moloch. (Well, except maybe the Elder Gods...) The Oni monster and he had remained enemies after Scorpion was trying to hunt down the evil sorcerer, Quan Chi. The sorcerer struck an alliance with Moloch just so he could leave the portal that Moloch was near to escape Scorpion's wrath. The same alliance was struck with the other Oni, Drahmin, who Scorpion thankfully hasn't encountered since.

The Lin Kuei remained puzzled. This just didn't make sense... Even if Scorpion was after his older brother, they were still enemies, and why that still had to be that way, Sub-Zero would probably never know. It was quite possibly due to the fact that Scorpion had no allies and trusted no one after what the Elder Gods had done to him. But whatever the case, this still wasn't quite right.

"I appreciate your assistance with fending off Moloch, but I still don't understand why you have done what you did. I am grateful that you saved my life against that beast, but that isn't behavior I would be expecting from you. Where is the real Scorpion?" Sub-Zero questioned, stunned all over again that Scorpion had even bothered to save him.

"You're looking at him," the hellspawn growled. Why was this slightly younger warrior acting so ignorant? If he was so appreciative of his random help, why was he still bombarding him with all of these questions? Yet, Scorpion couldn't lie to himself forever. He could, in a way, understand what the ice god was getting at. Yes, this was considered unusual behavior from him, but this was just a one time thing. It wasn't like he was going to do it again. And besides, if it wasn't Moloch that he was so desperately fighting, he more than likely wouldn't have assisted him against the ravenous beast. "If you're satisfied, why don't you just leave?" Scorpion snapped, growing more flustered by the minute.

Sub-Zero sighed.

"Although we are technically sworn 'enemies', you did save my life. There must at least be something I could do to repay you?" There. He had said it. He was now in Scorpion's gratitude, much to his disliking... But, Sub-Zero was an honest man and it was the least he could offer after being spared from the Oni.

Thoughts began to swarm like angry bees in the ninja spectre's undead mind. If repaying him was truly what Sub-Zero wanted to do, then Scorpion would take full advantage of it.

"Find a portal and get me out of here, just somewhere, anywhere away from the Netherrealm," Scorpion ordered.

Sub-Zero watched him curiously for a moment, but then nodded his head, glad that he had said this. Although Sub-Zero's skin was cold by nature, he was clad in his usual heavy clothing and the heat and steam from this realm was actually starting to get to him. The cold-fleshed man rubbed his neck absent-mindedly, thankful that the spilling of his blood had at least slowed down quite considerably. He peered over his shoulder as he walked to make sure that the hellspawn was following him; he was. And then there, a few steps ahead of them, was the mysterious blue portal that Sub-Zero had entered through to get here.

"Hopefully this will lead straight back to where I came from. I was trying to get to Earthrealm on Raiden's orders, but I somehow ended up here instead. I'll have to contact Raiden later and let him know that I'm behind and that I'll have to catch up with him later..."

Scorpion was hardly paying any attention to what the warrior with the freezing abilites had said. All he was focused on was the portal and finally leaving this place. It just figured that he had to depend on another to find a portal to leave the Netherrealm. All the more to hate the Elder Gods...

Almost as soon as the pair had entered the swirling transporter, Scorpion felt bitterly cold air swim around him, indicating that the portal must have worked and that they were far to the north where the Lin Kuei was located. Sub-Zero seemed estatic to be back home. Scorpion just sulked and shivered. As Sub-Zero's ice palace loomed closer, the ice warrior turned to tell Scorpion that this was the end of the line, that he couldn't enter and he'd have to find a way back to Edenia or some other place, but he just could not bring himself to it. It was Scorpion, the tormented ninja spectre that had saved his very life and taking him into the shelter of his palace seemed like the right thing to do. That, and the hellspawn didn't seem all too content with the weather...

Sub-Zero pushed open the front doors effortlessly as he strode through them, reassuring the members of his clan that Scorpion was with him and to let their guard down a little. The ice clan seemed absolutely shocked that Scorpion of all people was inside of their protective palace walls, but no one dared question Sub-Zero, their one, true grandmaster.

"Here," Sub-Zero announced as he ushered the now mildly satisfied Scorpion into a vast room with a high ceiling and a statue of Dahlia, the mother of Taven and Daegon and wife of a god of the Mortal Kombat world. Scorpion took in everything around him, content for a change, not wanting to ask why Sub-Zero had allowed him in his own palace when he never would have stood for it before. He didn't want to question a good thing, after all.

"Is there anything else I can get you?" Sub-Zero asked cautiously.

The invisible wheels in Scorpion's brain slowly started to creak and come to life as they turned. He was deeply pondering as all of his odd fantasies started to come flooding to him. Yes, he and Sub-Zero were enemies. Yes, it was his older brother that he was after. But, the ninja spectre had a surge of mixed feelings at the moment. In a way, he had always somewhat admired Sub-Zero for not being like his brother, whose soul was now corrupted and was freely walking around in the Netherrealm, much like Scorpion himself. And yet, this was just a small fraction of the mixed feelings he was having toward this younger fighter. Oddly, shockingly, Scorpion even liked Sub-Zero, but he would never dare to admit this. But, with his ponderings toying with his actions and the ice god offering him anything he wanted, it was almost too tempting to pass up.

Sub-Zero stood there, blinking slightly, waiting for a reply. He could read the expression on Scorpion's half-exposed face as one that he was simply up to no good, and the Lin Kuei didn't know if he should be alarmed or just let it pass. Much to his dismay, he found himself closely studying the spectre. Sub-Zero had never seen him without his mask, but at always assumed (from what he had heard about the hellspawn, anyway) that half of his face was flesh and the other, bottom-half (covered by the mask) was skull. His curiosity getting the better of him, Sub-Zero had to find out for himself.

"Take off your mask. I want to see you," he said suddenly, trying his best to keep his tone as polite as possible.

Scorpion quirked an eyebrow and wanted to protest, but he had to mentally remind himself that Sub-Zero had gotten him out of the Netherrealm and into his own palace. With a reluctant sigh, he gently removed the yellow mask that clad the lower half of his face and peeled off his stealth hood as well. Sub-Zero was more than expecting a horrid sight once Scorpion had done this, but he was greatly suprised, shocked even at what he saw. There, ten feet away from the cyromancer was the true Scorpion, slightly tanned, with an incredibly handsome face (all flesh, no skull showing or anything). Long, billowing curtains of black hair rippled down his fighting uniform, falling neatly in place at his waist. There was no denying it, even to Sub-Zero: Scorpion was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen.

"If you're done gawking, I'd like to have what you can give me," Scorpion said gruffly as he let his arms fold neatly across his chest for a moment or two.

"Er, yes, sure. I apologize... What do you want?" Sub-Zero asked, quite embarrassed.

"Take off your mask. I want to see you," he said with a smirk, mimicking the exact words that the pale man had just spoke to him.

Sub-Zero blinked once more, but obliged, nonetheless. Scorpion was assuming that Sub-Zero would be ancient, balding, disgusting. But, just like Sub-Zero had been assuming about the ninja spectre, he had it all wrong. A long, painful-looking scar covered Sub-Zero's right eye as his grayish-white hair was short and neatly spiked. Scorpion couldn't help but stare at him. He was (he hated to admit it) gorgeous. His feelings of utmost like for the grandmaster were greatly rekindled upon this glorious sight that he was enjoyably viewing.

As soon as Sub-Zero was starting to pick up his mask, Scorpion barked out at him, causing him to jump: "No! Leave it off. There's something else that I want."

The cyromancer eyed the hellspawn curiously as he felt him approach, not knowing what to feel or to expect. Sub-Zero's light blue eyes widened dramatically as he felt surprisingly soft and taut lips mold with his own and the master of the cold couldn't help but give in as he literally melted in Scorpion's touch. He instinctively reached for that long mane of raven hair, pulling him closer as their tongues met one another greedily as they danced, trying to memorize the taste of each other. Scorpion lifted a hand to the back of Sub-Zero's head as he kissed him deeper, more passionately. The ice god absent-mindedly whimpered as he felt the warmth of Scorpion momentarily leave him, though he instantly grinned as the spectre chewed on his ear instead.

Sub-Zero watched Scorpion with utmost fascination as he pulled away again, curious as to what was about to happen. He couldn't help but moan as the slightly older male cupped the front of him through his pants, savoring his warm touch through the fabric of his pants. Seeming to sense what Sub-Zero was thinking, Scorpion growled as he ripped at those cursed pants as well as his coat, discarding them completely as the Lin Kuei was left completely and utterly naked in his throne room. Sub-Zero managed to hurredly pry off Scorpion's armor and shirt before the hellspawn went lower. Sub-Zero looked around, wondering what Scorpion was doing until he gasped loudly, instantly grabbing and pulling at the tempting black mane before him. A warm, wet mouth met Sub-Zero's engorged and stiffened member as Scorpion teasingly, yet gently, grazed his teeth against the organ, causing the pale warrior to hiss through his clenched, white teeth. The ninja spectre bobbed his head furiously, managing to take the entire length of the grandmaster into his mouth. Sub-Zero cried out loudly, pleasurably as he slowly thrusted forward, moving his hips gently forward and backward, in and out of that wonderfully talented mouth. Scorpion groaned against the hard cock in his throat as they both moved in perfect sync with one another: he bobbed along with Sub-Zero's gentle thrusts.

After orally pleasuring the Lin Kuei, Scorpion quickly removed his own pants as he forced Sub-Zero all the way onto the cold, stone floor, though turning him over onto his stomach in the process. Sub-Zero yelped as a long finger was inserted into his virgin hole as Scorpion just tried to soothe and coo at him as he munched gently on that oh-so tempting ear of his once more. Once Sub-Zero had finally grown accustomed to this new feeling, Scorpion inserted another finger and then gradually another one into him. Sub-Zero slammed down onto them, moaning, just wanting Scorpion to take him already. The spectre was more than happy to oblige.

Sub-Zero screamed as Scorpion's hard length penetrated deep inside of him. His inner walls were so incredibly tight that Scorpion thought he might scream as well, but he resisted as a warm, comforting wave of pleasure splashed over his already perspiring body. He moved in and out of him, going slowly at first and not daring to go any faster until he got Sub-Zero's consent. Scorpion was eventually pumping so hard and so fast that his long fingernails had pierced the skin on the cyromancer's shoulder blades, causing thin streaks of blood to flow down his back. Sub-Zero thought he was going to lose it. Not only was his rock-hard dick being painfully rubbed up against the stone floor with every thrust that Scorpion made, but the fresh wounds that the hellspawn had made on his back wasn't really helping his situation. He did his best to ignore it as Scorpion slammed up against his prostate repeatedly, causing Sub-Zero to see stars behind his eyes. When Scorpion hit that sweet spot a fifth time, however, Sub-Zero could not keep it in any longer as he moaned out loudly before releasing violently onto the floor and his sweaty chest. The feeling of the ice master contract on his cock drove Scorpion mad with pleasure as he came hard into him. Both men panted as Scorpion fell on top of him, waiting briefly for him to soften before he cautiously pulled out.

"Damn," was the only thing that could leave Sub-Zero's lips; he was purely awestruck.

Scorpion grinned as he gingerly rolled him over onto his back, lapping up the mess he had made on himself before roughly kissing him. The idea that Sub-Zero was tasting his own cum revolted him, but strangely satisfied him nonetheless as he enjoyed the kiss, even kissing Scorpion back wholeheartedly.

Scorpion slowly stood as he extended a hand to the Lin Kuei grandmaster, who gladly accepted it. Haphazardly tossing on his clothes, the hellspawn then handed over Sub-Zero his garments which he also gladly accepted.

"Is it alright if I stay here for the evening?" Scorpion inquired, his bright white eyes twinkling mischeviously.

All Sub-Zero could manage to do was grin in reply as he could hardly wait for the fun he was certain would ensue later on.
