Elevator Trouble
INTRODUCTION: For Suikoden pairings, this one is probably as far-fetched as you can get. I've wanted to write a Mio fanfic for a while, and this particular idea had been playing in my head. A warning: this story is shamelessly PWP, so if you're looking for great emotional development between Mio and Jeane...you're going to have to write that fanfic yourself.
DISCLAIMER: The rights to Suikoden, its characters, and its respective ideas are the property of Konami. I am in no way profiting from the online publication of this fanfiction. However, the ideas of this fanfiction are the workings of my own (twisted) imagination, and I ask that you do not reprint, copy, or in any way "steal" my work.
RATING: NC-17 (for explicit descriptions of sexual activity)

As her finger traced the leather spines, Mio's eyes darted over the title of each book, some etched in gold foil, others only the ink signature of the author. These particular shelves of the library offered writings on human anatomy, herbal remedies, and various diseases.
Rumors stirred in the area and the locals learned that Budehuc Castle had become home to the legendary doctor Tuta. Although their makeshift hospital served mainly soldiers, Tuta's compassion prevented him from turning away patients, regardless of their financial and social positions. A woman from Iksay Village had brought her sick child that day, begging for treatment. The child had been suffering from an uncommon illness that puzzled country medicine-men, requiring the attention of a doctor much more skilled and knowledgable.
Even Tuta lacked proper knowledge of the illness, and sent his nurse to fetch a book while he tended the child. The library housed a surprisingly extensive collection of medical texts--so extensive that Mio had difficulty finding the requested book. She paused, attention distracted by the summer sky outside, bright blue without the hindrance of clouds. The weather had grown increasingly warm, many of the rooms suffocating in heat. Aside from discomfort, the heat also agitated the castle residents, making everyone restless despite their assignments and chores. Recent rumors claimed that even their tactician Caesar refused to work on military strategy until he could do so in the soothing, cooler nights.
With a shake of her head, Mio returned to her task.
"Ah, this is the one, I think," she said, pulling roughly at a thick volume wedged between other books.
The dust stirred, tickling her nostrils until a sneeze broke the silence of the library. Clearing the tears at her eyes, she turned the first few pages of the book. The paper bore signs of frequent usage though the dust seemed to indicate otherwise, that it had been resting on its shelf long before she retrieved it. Writing initially difficult to decipher, she finally determined the title of the work with some effort: "'Diagnoses and Treatments for Grassland Diseases' by Huan of the Jowston City-States...This is the one Doctor Tuta wanted, I think."
Tucking the tome under one arm, she grimaced at the dust smearing her palms. She wiped them on her white apron and exited the library, reminding herself that she should wash them properly before making her rounds with the patients. As she arrived at the main stairway of the castle, however, she noticed a soldier and maid quarreling over a tray of food sprawled at their feet.
"What a mess," Mio mumbled, shaking her head. "With so many people moving into Budehuc, it's no wonder there are so many collisions these days." She sighed, turning for the elevator. Among the many admirable traits of Doctor Tuta, perhaps the greatest (and most troublesome) was his patience with even the most trivial complaints of bruises and aches. Caring for the injured was Mio's responsibility, but she thought their war-limited resources were better spent on wounded soldiers than clumsy servants.
When the bell chimed and the gates of the elevator slid open, Mio was greeted not by Shizu, the polite and dutiful operator of the machine, but--surprisingly--the most popular merchant at Budehuc Castle. The runemistress had never been admitted to their medical ward; and for good reason, as Mio noticed the woman's body exhibited a robust health and beauty that proceeded her reputation.
Caught off guard, Mio paused a little too long before being forced a step back as Jeanne approached. The black silk caressed Jeane in her movements, clinging tightly, yet shifting so fluidly that it complimented the seductive motion of her body. A slit cut the lower half of the dress, offering a glimpse of skin smooth and pale as porcelain. However, past gossip warned Mio that this women was certainly not as delicate as her features claimed. Her suspicions were confirmed by the dangerously cold steel of Jeane's eyes, eyes that seemed to contradict the intent of her lips, curved in erotic suggestion.
"Oh my, this doesn't seem to be the right place at all," Jeane remarked with a glance at the balcony. Returning to the elevator, she held the gate, her expectant look forcing a blush to Mio's cheeks. "Coming?"
"Where's Miss Shizu?" Mio asked hesitantly, though she joined the other woman.
"I'm afraid she wasn't in the elevator when I came to use it." Jeane punctuated her response with a short chuckle, the sound rolling off Mio's back and tickling a spot between her shoulders. The nurse clutched the medical text tightly to her chest, suddenly aware that the elevator did not allow for much room between the runemaster and herself.
Although men raved and complimented Jeane's remarkable appearance, women often participated in much nastier gossip. One particularly annoyed woman had told Mio that Jeane's influence over men was due to her use of a Charm rune, not any actual merits. Admittedly Mio lacked any real knowledge of runes and their workings, but she assured herself that Jeane controlled who could be affected by her Charm rune. And judging from her large crowd of male admirers, certainly she wouldn't use it on another woman...?
Jeane laughed again, unnerving the girl beside her. "My dear, you'll need to press a button before we can get going."
"Oh, right," Mio said, attempting the professional smile she often used on patients.
Leaning over the control panel, she examined the printing on each button, regretful that she did not observe Shizu more intently while she operated the elevator. Finally she decided that the button marked "G" must lead to the first floor, assuming the buttons conformed to a sequential order. She nodded in satisfaction as the elevator responded with a familiar bell chime and began moving.
"I need to visit storage on the second basement level."
A moment passed before Mio realized Jeane was addressing her.
"R-Right, just a moment," Mio replied.
Scrutinizing the buttons, she pressed another one. However, this time the elevator did not respond with the usual chime. Instead, metal groaned in disagreement, causing the small box to bounce violently for a brief moment before ceasing movement completely.
Both women gripped the paneling of the elevator, struggling to maintain balance until the world around them steadied once more. Mio held her head with one hand until the nausea passed. As she regained composure, she returned once more to the control panel, trying several buttons without success. No movement, no noise, nothing! They were stuck.
"Well, I'm sure Shizu won't be pleased with this," Mio sighed. "But she's sure to come back soon. Or Doctor Tuta will realize I've been gone too long."
"In other words, no need to worry, right?"
Mio suppressed a shudder as the breath tickled her ear, feeling Jeane examine the control panel over her shoulder. "Y-Yes. Someone's sure to find us before long."
As the heat at her back shifted away, Mio released her held breath, realizing also that her heart had increased its tempo dramatically. She closed her eyes, scolding herself. Why was she so concerned about being trapped in an elevator with a woman she hardly knew? True, Jeane held considerable sway over the men at Budehuc--but those were men. She was a woman, and Jeane would have little interest in her...right?
"My dear, you're sweating quite a bit."
The silk voice slid against Mio's skin like a serpent, setting the hairs of her neck at attention. She swallowed before finding her voice, "Yes, this summer heat...and being trapped in this little room, I guess it's no surprise I'd be sweating."
"Oh ho ho," Jeane chuckled, laying one hand against her own cheek. "It's all those dreadful clothes you're wearing! If you wore something a little more--ah--relaxing, you wouldn't have such problems."
Instinctively, Mio's eyes caught on Jeane's outfit, the neck of the dress racing dangerously along the curves of her breasts, threatening to expose nipples if the garment did not cooperate. Her own nurse's uniform was two layers in the summer, more in winter, and she never wore less. Mio's cheeks glowed fierce red as she turned her eyes away.
"Don't tell me you're shy, dear?" Jeane's voice purred with laughter and delight. She rested her hands on her hips, the movement giving her breasts some sway in the loose fabric. "Aren't you a doctor? And a woman no less! Why, you should be accustomed to women without their clothing."
"Not a doctor, a nurse," Mio corrected, though the blush in her cheeks persisted. "And it's different. I mean, when you look at a woman as a doctor, it's not the same as--"
In two swift strides, Jeane cornered the nurse, her body so close that Mio's senses drowned in the exotic perfume of her skin. One black, gloved finger traced Mio's quivering lips, Jeane's voice still teasing, but now with a darker undertone, "If it's too hot for you, I won't mind if you need to take off those clothes."
Before she could utter words, the groan of machinery started again and the elevator drove downwards. A moment later, the bell rang and the gates opened, sending in cool drafts of air from outside. The ceilings and walls of the outer chamber were made of brown brick, various servants hurried by carrying rations and crates.
"Second basement level? Ah, just what I needed." Jeane stepped out of the elevator, winking at Mio before the doors slammed close once more.
Dizzy, Mio pressed fingers to her brow again. The brief encounter with Jeanne mystified her, her racing heart did not slow. However, she convinced herself that she should get back to Doctor Tuta before her disappearance caused too much trouble. But how did she make the elevator doors open after they closed? Maybe it was best to test her luck again, at least she understood how to make the elevator travel to different floors... Turning to the control panel, she bit her lip hesitantly before selecting the "G" button once more. To her relief, the elevator gave its characteristic bell signal, then rose.
Unfortunately, her triumph did not last long before being interrupted by the sound of metal grating against itself, the elevator coming to a sudden halt again. Mio groaned, pressing frantically at the buttons of the elevator before sinking to the floor. Leaning her back against the wall of the small room, she, first, convinced herself to wait patiently for Shizu to repair the elevator, and then, second, resolved to never, never use the elevator again.
Time passed, though without sunlight, Mio could not determine how long she had been trapped in the machine. She turned her attention to the book for Doctor Tuta, certain that it could provide some amusement while she waited. After several pages, however, Mio put the book aside in frustration, realizing that she lacked proper training to understand much of the medical terminology. The heat of the room did not help with her lack of concentration.
Next, she decided a nap might be a reasonable way to endure the wait. As she settled on the hardwood floor of the elevator, trying to find a comfortable position, she realized her clothing stuck to her in many places, absorbing sweat. She made a face as she sat up. The temperature in the elevator was truly maddening, and the more she dwelled on it, the more intense the heat seemed to be. Listening for a moment, she noticed that her surroundings were void of any sound.
"Miss Shizu probably isn't working on the elevator yet," Mio said quietly, persuading herself that she was safe in this isolated box.
Slowly, she slid out of her nurse's dress, thinking to leave the underdress in place, just in case the elevator began moving unexpectedly. However, as she felt the great weight lifted from her, a rush of cool air greeting her body, she eagerly threw off the underdress as well, leaving only undergarments. Sweat formed a glistening coat on her chest, shimmering in the artificial light of the elevator. Freed from her clothing, Mio stretched out on her back, enjoying the colder feel of hardwood floor against her skin.
"Better. I can probably get a quick nap before they find me," she mumbled.
As her eyes sealed shut, her mind played back images from the earlier meeting, a soft groan issuing from her lips as she returned to the scent of Jeane's body near her own, the breath teasing her skin. The pace of her heart accelerated, the first itch of excitement crawling between her legs.
"No, no... I came here with Doctor Tuta." Mio bit her lip, a stab of guilt causing the sweat to form even more quickly on her body. When her husband died, she relied on Doctor Tuta to comfort her, support her while she recovered from the loss. She admired so much of him, yet their relationship was almost purely formal and platonic, denying her the intimacy she yearned. Her body ached for the days when her husband still lived, when she could still enjoy another person's touch. Doctor Tuta must have feelings for her, certainly, but he kept to himself, absorbed in his work, never sparing a thought or moment to satisfy the desires of his body, though she'd offer her's willingly if he asked...
Jeane provided her the first opportunity for sexual pleasure in years, and she hungered for it. What if she had drawn Jeane back into the elevator, forbid the woman from leaving? Would she receive the pleasure that so many sought and so few attained?
The flesh between her legs cried out, stirring in heat and passion. Mio slid one hand beneath the elastic of her underwear, parting her legs as she rubbed the folds with her fingers, finding moisture mixed from sweat and her own excitement. She allowed one finger in, wincing from the brief pain; it had been a long time since anything had been inside her. Under Doctor Tuta's teaching, she had become a proper nurse, thinking only of the patients' welfare. But as her thoughts drifted to Jeane once more, she remembered the smells and tastes of sex, the wild emotions, the blinding ecstacy. With small cries punctuating the rhythm of her pumping fingers, Mio slipped another hand under the cloth of her bra, squeezing the silken flesh of her breast.
She imagined Jeane giving her pleasure, that the fingers inside of her were Jeane's, the nails scraping gently as they brushed her walls with each stroke. She fantasized having Jeane's breath on her again, the hot air caressing her before the lips met skin, a strong, wet tongue sliding over her body, teeth biting softly where the mouth found delicate flesh. She wanted her hands entwined in the sea of silver hair, so thick and beautiful in the light, smooth to touch, matted to her body from their mingling sweat.
Stripping the panties from her legs, Mio grabbed the thick, leather-bound text from the library. Propping it on its spine, she rose to her knees, then sank until the edge of the book made contact with the eager mound between her thighs. With long grinding motions, she rubbed herself along the surface of the book, the rough-cut pages tearing at the flesh as it passed with each thrust. She held the book in place with some effort, her back bowing in raw delight as her juices drenched the paper.
Collapsing to her side, she grabbed the end not yet worn and soaked by her excitement, took the corner of the book and rammed it between her legs, screaming as it found her clitoris. Its awkward shape prevented it from burying too deep within her, but she used the hard edge to stimulate her center of sensitivty until it burned, sending electric waves through her body.
She wanted her hands to be on Jeane's white, perfect flesh, claiming the beauty for herself. She could feel her mouth applying pressure to Jeane's womanhood, the rich, complex tastes of female lust on her lips and tongue. She imagined Jeane's great breasts bouncing violently as her body rocked in pleasure, the muscles in her back straining against the force of the approaching orgasm.
As Jeane cried out in her mind, Mio felt her body spasm, the thick juice of her desire spilling out, saturating the book between her legs. White dots blurred her vision, senses muted by the deafening work of her own mouth gasping for air. With shaky hands, she managed to slip into her underdress...
...Just as the elevator bell chimed and the gates slid open.

It's hard to say, but who do you think will be more upset about the state of the book--Tuta or Eike? ;)
