Chapter 1: Temptation's First Kiss

"Temptation is dangerous when I am near you."


Setting: 7 years after the defeat of Xemnas.

Riku watched his friends with sorrow in his soul. Sora, Kairi and the rest of the crew (Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, Donald, and Goofy) were hanging out together at Sora's house. They were laughing and enjoying each other's company. It seemed like no one noticed Riku's absence, nor cared that he was gone. He knew he was no longer apart of their lives and that he could not be their close friend anymore. He had to keep his distance. Riku loathed himself for what he became and hated his maker Dante for cursing him as a vampire, and yet had love for him. Dante treated Riku as a beloved child of his. Riku never knew the love of his own father. His father used to beat him when he was a child. He noticed the way Sora and Kairi looked at each other. Sora kissed Kairi softly before Riku's eyes. He then noticed the ring on their fingers. They were married... It tore his heart apart. His Kairi belonged to Sora. He knew Kairi was in love with Sora already so he shouldn't be surprised but it still came as a shock to him that they were married. Riku gave himself into the darkness for her..to save her. He even chose to live a cursed life of a vampire to protect her from Xemnas. A fragment of Xemnas' soul was saved in a lost world. Someone unknown had released it. Xemnas caught Riku off guard and attacked him and left him to die.
Dante then found him and asked him if he wanted to live. Riku remembered how beautiful Dante was when he first laid eyes on him. Dante's long pale blonde hair swaying with the cool breeze that night. His complexion that of a deathly white. His face carved with the perfection of an angel's. Riku accepted Dante's offer. He wanted to live and protect Kairi from any harm and warn his other friends of Xemnas' return before he caught them off guard also. Riku remembered the feeling of Dante draining him of the blood he had left. Dante then bit into his wrist and let the blood fall into Riku's mouth. He drank the the metallic taste of blood. His human body died and he became a strong vampire. Dante was a 1,000 year old vampire with extraordinary strength and powers. Some of his power and strength was passed into Riku. Riku was strong enough to defeat Xemnas before he got to his dear friends.
Riku couldn't bear to show his vampiric self to his loved ones. The shame rained over him. He felt the weight of the world crushing him. He couldn't bear to burden his friends. Now, he had to live with this vampiric curse.
He turned away from the window, in which he had watched his friends through. How could he ever think he had a chance with Kairi. He was a fool and now he was monster. Riku left to the beach. He stood on the dock, watching the ocean. The ocean, illuminated by the full moon. Riku sensed a human nearby, coming towards him. He didn't bother to turn. He read the human's thoughts and realized it was Kairi. Riku kept his back facing toward her. His long, platinum white hair swaying with the cool breeze. "Kairi," he finally spoke.
"Riku...? Is that really you?" Kairi asked with disbelief.
Riku nearly melted at the sound of his name. He finally turned to Kairi. Kairi stared in awe of Riku. He had always been attractive but he was more beautiful than the last time Kairi had seen him. His long black cloak constrasted well with his pale complexion. His aqua blue eyes seemed to glimmer more in the moonlight. Riku appeared as a dark angel standing before her.
"Yes..." Riku answered.
A frown curved at the edges of Kairi's lips. "What happened? Where did you go...?"
"Doesn't matter," Riku said coldly.
"Yes, it does Riku!" Kairi said angrily. "Why did you abandon us?" She questioned, with sorrow in her voice.
Riku looked away from Kairi. The shame washed through him. He couldn't tell her the truth. He remained silent for awhile then spoke. "I just needed to get away from the island, alright? Just for awhile."
Kairi sighed. She sensed that Riku was hiding something else but left it alone. Tears welled up in her eyes. It softened Riku's heart. He wanted nothing more than to hold Kairi and make her pain go away.
Before Riku could make a move, Kairi stepped closer and wrapped her slender arms around Riku tightly. Oh god...he shouldn't be this close to Kairi... Riku wrapped his strong arms around her. God, she smelled so good... He shivered. The scent of Kairi's blood drove him crazy. This is what Dante had warned him about. He knew the his blood lust would be too great to handle at times. Riku wanted to hold Kairi forever but he knew he couldn't. His hand gently stroked her back and traveled down south...No. Riku stopped himself and pulled away from her faster than a human could see with preternatural speed.
Kairi stared wide-eyed. "What's wrong, Riku?" She asked, startled. "Wait a minute... how did you move that fast..?" She asked curiously.
"What?" Riku played innocent.
"You know what, Riku." There was a sense of irritation in Kairi's tone.
Riku smirked. "You're imagining things, Kairi."
"Am I?" Kairi arched an eyebrow. Riku pushed passed her. Kairi grabbed his arm. "You're hiding something."
"Just..keep your distance. I'm dangerous." Riku warned her. If she kept getting close to him, he didn't know what he would do. He didn't know which craving was greater, the one for her blood or the one for that sexy body of hers.
"What if I like dangerous?" Kairi said without thinking.
Riku turned around to face her. The lust in his eyes shone. What was she doing? Inviting him to do the wicked things he wanted to do to her? She didn't know what she was doing to him with her words. The thought made him hard.
"I'm not a child anymore, Riku." She spoke again.
Riku slowly backed her into a nearby tree and pinned her against it. "You're playing with fire," he spoke into her ear. His voice was husky and seductive. He felt her heart pound hard against her chest.
Kairi was caught off guard. She was speechless at Riku's seductive behavior. He ran his hands down her sides, tracing every curve of her body. "You're right. I noticed you're not a child anymore. You're even more beautiful than the last time I saw you."
Kairi shivered under Riku's sensual touch.
"Its better for you to stay away, Kairi."
"Why? What are you going to do to me?" Kairi said, sarcastically. She probably shouldn't have said that.
Riku suddenly kissed her hard on the lips. She hesitated. He held her by her wrists and pulled them above her head against the tree with one of his hands. His other hand carressed her thigh and traveled up her skirt. Riku's touch sent shivers through out her body.His fingers slipped up her inner thigh as her skirt hiked up slowly. His fingers then slipped into her panties and dipped into her wetness. She moaned into the kiss. She wanted to push him away because she knew it was wrong but he was too strong for her. She couldn't break the grip Riku had on her wrists. Riku smirked as he pulled away from the kiss, reading her thoughts. She couldn't help but soak in the pleasure and moan. He thrust two fingers into her, deeper with every thrust.
"No, Riku..." She managed to say though she was very much enjoying herself Riku noticed.

Kairi watched him and realized he wasn't going to let her reach her orgasm. Why was she so disappointed? This was Riku. Not her husband, Sora. She shouldn't have wanted anything from Riku. "Why so disappointed, Kairi?" Riku smirked.
"Stop this Riku...just let me go." She looked down, ashamed.
"Why? You clearly enjoyed me having control over you." Riku said. He was having a little too much fun with this. He knew it was wrong but couldn't bring himself to stop from teasing her. He had her right where he wanted her, in the palm of his hand. Maybe he could enjoy himself while he lived in Destiny Islands again. No wonder, Dante had always played with his prey first. He wanted to savour his human side. He had said, "It makes me feel human again." Now, I knew what he had meant. Though Riku wanted to do the samething, he could never bring himself to kill Kairi or hurt her. He only wanted to keep her for himself even if it was for a moment. He was careful to read her thoughts. Had she protested in her heart and meant it, he would have stopped touching her but she clearly wanted it just as much as he did. He knew it was wrong, but she had invited herself into his fire and he wanted to give her taste of what she could have with him.
"I have a husband, Riku. You know this is wrong."
He knew he shouldn't have given in to his desires but he got lost in the sweet temptation that came his way. All these years, he had the desire to touch her soft skin and kiss those soft lips of hers. He released her wrists from his tight grasp. Her hands fell to her sides. Riku moved a few inches away from her to give her space to leave. "You're right. I shouldn't have done this but I also don't regret it." He didn't regret having the chance to kiss those soft lips that he had yearned to kiss for years and to touch her..and to hear her soft moans because of him. Though it was too short, he loved every moment of this night but if she had wished for nothing between them then he would stop.
Kairi passed him to leave. She walked away to her's and Sora's home.
