A Fond Farewell
Cao Pi watched as his men fell. It was the battle of the Wu Jung Plains, and things weren't going in favor of Wei. He could see Sima Yi in the distance, and knew that without Yi's help, they would be powerless. Sima Yi was one of his father's most trusted officers, and Cao Pi knew that no matter what, Yi would be there.
As the sun set, Cao Pi set off to find Jiang Wei. He knew that if he could find Wei, the battle would be over within a matter of minutes. He ran up to one of the Wei soldiers, kicked him off his horse, and rode into the Plains. He saw Jiang Wei in the distance, and pushed the horse to go faster. As he approached Wei, he jumped off the horse and yelled, "You dare approach me alone. How foolish."
Jiang Wei took a couple steps toward Pi, and made a low yell. They fought for what seemed like forever. He thought that Wei would be easier than he was, but indeed, he was mistaken. Finally, Cao Pi was able to strike down Jiang Wei, and he knew instantly that the battle was over.
Later on that night, Cao Pi sat on his bed in his room and thought about the battle. He didnt' know why, but something about it bothered him terribly. He made the thought leave his mind and dressed for the victory celebration. He finished putting his robes on and headed for downstairs.
As he descended the stairs he saw many of his fellow officers, some that were in the battle, and others that weren't. Sima Yi stood in one corner trying to pursue a certain woman. And at the round table, Cao Ren sat among many soldiers and bragged about the men he had slain throughout the day. Cao Pi turned around a corner and spotted someone he hadn't seen in quite a long time.
Zhen Ji stood at the entrance of the castle and looked around. She saw Cao Pi staring at her and smiled. She started to walk across the room to say hi when out of no-where Zhang Liao took her by the hand in a welcoming shake.
"It is so nice to such a lovely face," he smiled.
"It's nice to see you again too, Liao," she replied.
"How have you been?"
"Ok. I guess," she replied trying to rap things up so she could go see Cao Pi.
"Well, that's wonderful." Zhen Ji just smiled. "Would you like me to get you a drink?"
"No. Thank you anyways. I was actually heading over to see my husband."
"Well, don't let me stop you," Liao replied moving out of the way and giving a small bow. Zhen Ji smiled at him as she walked away.
Cao Pi watched her elegant form move across the floor. Even though they hadn't seen eachother in weeks, it felt like eternities. Before he knew it she was in front of him.
"Hello my beautiful flower," he said running a finger down her cheek.
"Hello," she replied, looking up at him. They stared into eachother's eyes for a few minutes then headed for the tables. Cao Pi pulled a chair out for Zhen Ji, then sat himself down beside her.
As everyone settled into their chairs, they all awaited for Cao Pi to arise for the victory speech. When Cao Pi believed that everyone was settled in, he arose and started.
"To the People Wei, I would like to congratulate you on our victory! It has been hard since my father, Cao Cao has passed away, but we have managed to gain more land, and broaden our empire. I hope that in the future we will have more victories like the one today!" As Cao Pi finished his speech the people roared and clapped their hands.
Cao Pi sat down and ordered one of the servants to have dinner served. He watched as Zhen Ji talked to the person beside her. She looked so beautiful that he just wanted to throw her on the table and take her. He brought himself back to reality as she turned to him and smiled.
"Congratulations on your victory," she said taking her husband's hand.
"Thank-you. But it's not just my victory, it's everyone's." He smiled at her and kissed her cheek.
They ate dinner and drank wine into the night, but around 12:00pm, Zhen Ji got up and said her good-byes. Then she headed for her room. Cao Pi noticed this and followed her.
As Zhen Ji started to undress, she heard footsteps from behind her, and a second later, she felt Cao Pi's hands around her waist. She smiled and leaned her head back onto his shoulder. He ran a line of kisses up her neck until he reached her lips. She turned around to face him and continued to un-tie the ribbon which held her robes together.
Cao Pi moved closer as she removed her first robe. As she threw it to the ground, she reached over and undid Cao Pi's belt. And before they knew it they were on the bed kissing eachother.
Cao Pi then pulled off Zhen Ji's last robe, as she removed his. They kissed again while Cao Pi played with Zhen Ji's nipples. As they kissed Cao reached down and removed Zhen's panties to reveal her wet crevass. Zhen gasped as he slid a finger into her and moved it in and out. Zhen reached down and massaged Cao's already half hard member. After a couple minutes, Cao kissed Zhen, and pushed himself inside of her.
They moved simataniously. Cao Pi grunted as Zhen Ji bucked her hips against his. Cao Pi could feel himself getting close to his climax.
"Oh Zhen.... Zhen..... ohhh..." he mumbled as he came inside of her.
Zhen felt his liquids fill her up. She moaned as it turned her on even more and made her climax. Cao could feel her insides tighten, and pumped faster to reach a second climax. As Cao completely finished, he fell limp. He laid his head on her chest and breathed heavily. Zhen ran her fingers through his hair as she caught her own breath. They slept like that the whole night.
The next morning, Zhen awoke to her bed full of Hollyhocks and a note, she took a handful of the flowers before she read it:
"My beautiful flower. I have gone into battle. I didn't want to awaken you. You looked so peaceful. I hope to see you tonight. Take care my love.
Cao Pi"
Zhen Ji spent the day practicing new songs on her flute, and training. She couldn't wait for Cao Pi to return home.
She had been feeling kind of sick all day, and she couldn't figure out why. When she saw her dear friend Sima Yi, she told him how she had been feeling. He told her that it could be a little one growing inside of her, but she refused to listen. But as the day came to an end, she knew he was right.
Zhen Ji was in her room when the soldier came and told her what had happened. Cao Pi had been injured in battle, and would probably die soon. Zhen tried her hardest to hold her head high, but it didn't prevail. She curled up on her bed and cried. She didn't emerge until the next morning. She went down to the hospital wing of the palace and saw Cao Pi laying there... helpless. She stayed there, holding his hand. When he awoke she smiled. He could tell she was forcing it, but was at least glad to see her actually there.
"Hello," he whispered.
"Hi," she replied almost a whimper. She watched him lay there and just wanted to cry. "How are you holding up?"
"Ok... i guess..." he said. He looked up at her and noticed that she had tears in her eyes. He reaced up and put his palm to her cheek, "don't cry. Please don't cry."
"I can't help it," she said bending down so he could hold her. "I don't want to lose you. I can't lose you."
"If my destiny is to die, then I will die. Your destiny is to live, and protect."
"I must tell you something Cao Pi. I want you to know before you..." she stopped at the thought and held back a cry. "I'm with child."
Cao Pi sat in silence and just admired her. Finally he spoke. "Your... going to have a child?"
"Yes," she replied. Cao Pi reached up and moved a loft of hair from her face.
"Then why are you crying?"
"I don't know," she replied.
"Well... I am happy for us. I just ask one thing,"
"Anything."
"Name it after my father."
"I will."
Cao Pi could sense that his time was nearing an end, so he kissed Zhen Ji softly and sent her away. As Zhen Ji walked away, vowed that she would kill the man who had taken her child's father away.
