"I just think I need some time off,"
"And that's completely understandable, you've been working non-stop since they posted you here. How long do you think you'll be gone?"
"I don't know; long enough."

The Night Elf smiled, "I'll be back before you know it, Raul, you all need me here too much for me to be gone too long."
Raul, presumably the Human that the Night Elf was speaking to, grinned and patted his friend on the shoulder. "That's for sure, Kaele. We'll try and put Zae on some of your older projects, but he won't be able to handle a lot of the stuff you've been doing,"
Kaele merely nodded.

Kaele was a Druid, Raul was a Paladin. They had two very separate lifestyles, but came together for a common goal: the bettering of Azeroth. When it was discovered that the land in the Eastern Plaguelands could potentially be purified, Kaele was sent to work with the Paladins to find a way to make this possible, as well as get rid of the Scourge threat that still loomed, even with the disappearance of Naxxramas.

The two friends said their parting words, and Raul walked back in to Light's Hope Chapel. Kaele, on the other hand, rummaged through his bags to pull out a small device that had a single red button upon its surface. Kaele pressed a button, and a blue light emanated from the device. It soon began to encase his entire body, there was a flash, and he was gone.
Mere moments later Kaele appeared Gadgetzan, a small Goblin-run town in the middle of the Tanaris desert. He stepped out from the transporter pad, a quick gust of warm air rushing over his body. The Goblin that stood post next to the dock looked over to him, completely unphased. "Yo," He said, simply, and then returned to his post.

Kaele smiled at the Goblin and made his way to the bank. As he stepped inside, he felt the cool air of the inside rush over him. He went to the Banker, and pulled a bunch of data recording equipment from his bag, placing it upon the counter "I trust you to keep this safe, as well as have some of your engineers take a look at it." The Banker nodded in reply, took the equipment from the counter and disappeared into the vault to temporarily place it away. By the time the Banker returned, all that was left of Kaele was a flash of green light that slowly drifted to the floor in particles like snowflakes.

By this time, dusk had fallen, and Kaele was tired. As he appeared in the Stormwind Inn, he let out a loud, lengthy yawn. He said nothing to no one as he made his way up the stairs to his room. He pulled a flask from one of his smaller bags, and took a swig from it as he ascended the staircase. He placed the flask back in his bag and made for his key ring, grasping the one with Stormwind's insignia painted upon it, and a large number '7', indicating the room number. He placed the key in the keyhole and turned until he heard a loud 'click' as the lock opened. He pushed the door open, locking it again as he entered the room.

It was a basic Inn room, with a bed, nightstand, desk dresser, mirror, and many other necessities of living. Clothes and papers were messily scattered upon the floor and the desk, showing obvious lack of time for organization. Kaele unstrapped the large staff from his back that bore a cross in a circle as a head. He laid the stuff up in the corner by the door. He unlaced his belt and his bags, laying them upon the dresser, and took off the rest of his armor until he was left with nothing but his undergarments.

Kaele was tall and broad, even by Night Elf standards. He was rather muscular for one who spent most of his time in books, but he had seen his fair share of the battle field as well. He took a step forward to look upon himself in the mirror, his movements sluggish and slow. He yawned, and pushed his long green hair back over his shoulder. His face was young, and he had strong features and a defined jaw line. His body itself had little wear, despite a few scars here and there.

He ran a hand through his hair, shrugged, and made his way to the bed. As he came upon the bed, his vision went foggy, and his world began to slow down. His mind clouded, and his thoughts became scattered. He fell upon the bed almost lifelessly, and let sleep overtake him.

Kaele awoke with a start to a loud knocking at his door. "Mr. Kaele, are you awake?" He called, knocking again. Kaele groaned, considering more and more to turn into a bear to scare the human away. He felt like all of the strength had been sapped out of him, and he really didn't want to get up to answer the door. He sat up with some difficulty, finding an unnatural weight upon his chest. He threw aside his blanket nonchalantly, but then gasped in strange realization. Two objects adorned his chest that had been there prior to his sleeping. Rather, prior to her sleeping.

These couldn't be real, could they? It all had to be just some terrible dream. Kaele reached to pinch himself, but this only resulted in a stinging in his arm. He was . . a girl? The knocking on the door snapped him back to his senses, and he rushed to the door, but did not open it. "What--?" His voice, too . . . feminine, soft. He instantly coughed, attempting to deepen it, "What's the big fuss about?"
"There's a letter here for you, Sir, and you've been sleeping late past noon, they sent me to come check on you."
Kaele winced. Cripes. "Just leave the letter under the door, I'll get to it later."
"Yes sir!"

Kaele heard the man leave, sighed, and walked back over towards his bed, only pausing when he saw himself in the mirror. What had happened? His burly, wild features had been calmed, his forest green hair was now longer, draping down over her. His skin was now much softer looking, all of the faint cuts and scars had faded, leaving his skin perfect. Her once golden eyes had changed to a silver-like color, and green marking trailed down her face. And of course, the breasts, the large, obtrusive things that weighed him down. He ran a hand over his right breast, cupping it gently as he reached the bottom. This was real, nothing but real.

There was only one final touch to this, and he hoped it wasn't so. His hands slid down to the only piece of clothing he wore, his underwear. His hand breached the outer edge, and he reached for something that wasn't there. His pride was gone. It was official, he was a . . she. Distress quickly overcame 'her', what would she do? A million possible thoughts ran through her head, but she could find no explanation for this cruel fate. She looked up to the mirror again, and almost felt like crying. 'Great, even the emotions . . ' Despite this, she figured that, if she were still a man, she'd be quite attracted to the girl in the mirror.

Suddenly, an idea sprang into her head. She slowly began to tug at the underwear, shimmying them off of her hips, and kicked them away to the side. She made her way to the bed and sat down at its edge, legs spread just a little. She took her right hand, the nails of which were quite a bit longer than before, and traced the nail of her index finger around her nether regions, instant waves of pleasure flowing over her. She probed gently at her slit, finding rather easy entry for her one finger. She pushed slowly past the folds, until her whole finger was engulfed. Kaele let out a gentle groan as she began to pump in and out of herself, tilting her head back.

She soon began to quicken her pace, and added her middle finger. Fluids soon began to coat her fingers, making her job a lot easier. She soon reached her limit, and did everything she could to contain the scream that urged itself to make its way out, and she came. Beads of sweat glistened upon her body, and she used her free hand to wipe her face. She pulled the fingers of her right hand from inside of her, examining the fluids that covered them. Curious, she put both fingers in her mouth and sucked the fluids away, only moderately wincing at the bittersweet taste. She then stood, though her knees weak, and searched out for something to clean herself with, which happened to be a towel that had been laying down near the bed.

As shocking as the entire situation was, she had an odd sense of calm about her. As she was done cleaning herself up, she made her way to the door to find the letter that had so rudely disturbed her sleep. She knelt down to pick it up; it was addressed to her Male self, an all too familiar signature on the envelope.

She opened the letter and read it to herself:

"Kaele,

It has been a long time friend, I assure you the fight in Northrend goes well. I have finally managed to find time to come down to Stormwind again for a few weeks. I am also bringing down Alyssa with me, I am sure she will be pleased to see you.
We shall meet in The Park then, I hope to see you soon.

Cheers.
Yours truly, Kalvan."

Kaele placed her free hand upon her forehead, letting out an exasperated sigh. Things just went from bad to worse.

Cripes, indeed.

A/N: new! I'm totally revamping the entire story, and this is only phase one.

whew. really long first chapter, by my standards, but I needed to get all of the boring stuff out of the way.

as always, constructive criticism, pointers, or compliments are always welcome.
