~flashback~
Link and Zelda stood facing one another surrounded by the light of time. Zelda smiled sadly at him knowing that they would be returning to the correct time and space. Meaning they would be children once again and neither would be able to be together.
Link handed her the Ocarina of Time smiling sadly himself when she placed her hand over it and stepped closer to him.
"Thank you. . . Link, but now its time that I sent you home to your proper time and place." She said softly as a small tear escaped and slid down her cheek. Link moved his free hand to gently brush it away, he was taller than her with this older body of himself. He leaned down and kissed her cheek his deep saphire eyes met her paler icy ones.
"Don't think that means this is the last you have seen of me princess," he replied. His warm breath brushed across her ear and he stepped back as she removed the instument from his hands.
~End Flashback~
It hadn't occured to anyone at that time that something else had been present when Zelda had been in the process of fixing time. A more apropriate term would be someone else or to make it more specific two someones.

Cupidia stormed back and forth looking through her liquid mirror. She was the goddess of love and as such it was her duty to insure that love would be present in the world often taking it upon herself to try to solve many of this worlds problems.
"Mistress?" came a somewhat timmid voice from behind her. It was one of her 'employees' or servant for lack of a better word.
"Yes, what is it?" Cupidia questioned the young girl. It could be said that Cupidia rarely entered a bad mood. Being that love was her element she was graced with an amazingly large amount of patience. Right now however it was very apparent that she was not happy at all.
"I hope that I am not being to nosy but what exactly was it that you were doing when Lady Zelda was trying to fix time?" The girl asked. Cupidia paused in her storming to look at her briefly.
"I will admit that I was meddeling a little. . ." she replied looking back at the mirror which allowed her to see things happening in the world below her. The girls eyes widened a little at what she heard.
"Mistress?" she asked, Cupidia sighed she really didn't feel like explaining herself to the girl but knew that she would anyway. It wasn't her fault the girl was simply too cute to deny her knowledge.
"I tweaked with their ages a little bit, so that he would be around her own age." Cupidia answered the girl gasped a little bit.
"Mistress. . . you aren't the ruler of time. . . what if he were to catch
you?" the girl demanded. Cupidia simply sniffed at the thought of what the old blow hard would do. He never really scared her that much since most of the other gods and goddesses tended to stay out of her buisness. Not really bothering to question what she did considering it didn't really do anything to harm things.
"Oh I'm sure that Koroma is already aware of what has happened, I'm not really worried about him. . ." Cupidia answered looking a little more worried as she looked into her mirror once again to see that it had started to cloud over and ripple violently. The girl gasped when the body of a bearded man emerged from the depths and towered over them.
"Speak of the devil and next thing you know he rises to greet you. . . " Cupidia chuckled dryly. Koroma didn't return a comment but simply glared at her.
"The others are not happy with you right now Cupidia. . ." He started saying but was silenced by the sold form of cloud that wizzed past his head. Looking at her with wide eyes he found that he was facing a very formidable challenge. Even if she did rarely get angry Cupidia was not someone to cross in her anger.
"Damn you don't you think I know that!?" She shouted at him. She was holding onto another piece of solidified cloud. It was the type she had used to build her palace. She however found it with in her to not throw that one too.
"It isn't really my actions that you should be worried about and you know it. . . even you should have realized at this point that I wasn't the only one present at that particular moment." Cupidia continued as she moved closer to him. She would admit that even if she was angry the god of time did scare her. He was after all older, wiser as well as stronger than she was.
"That stupid witch of a sister of mine was there too. . ." Koroma looked down his nose at the young pink haired goddess. It was no secret amongst the others how much she despised Arieties the goddess of chaos and a never ending nightmare to Cupidia.
"I should have known that she would be involved in this as well as you," Koroma said. Cupidia looked away from him and sighed it was always tiring and troublesome to deal with this man. He was her uncle after all.
"I will try my best to correct the mess that she has caused in my little plan. . . why she insists on messing with all my huge projects is completely beyond me. . . and I only made him a few years older than he was originally so they were better suited for one another. . ." Muttered the love goddess as she started to walk away from the man.
"What ever the reasons Arieties has she has gone to far this time, and I couldn't care less about you changing his age. . . love is your department not mine." Koroma said and dissapeared from sight leaving the liquid mirror as calm as it always was. Once again Cupidia had managed to get away with her ideas of bringing love to people who were definately deserving of it.
........................................................................................................................
Arieties sat in her dark palace and looked into her own liquid mirror. She was watching her dear sisters face as she shouted curses at her. Laughter echoed through the dark cold halls as she thought about what she had done.
"Oh come now my sister dear. . . where would the fun be if they could just be together after that?" She said to herself. Standing Arieties allowed her long beautiful black hair fall down around her feet. She went to her mirror to stare at her beauty.
"I really do amaze my self some times when it comes to my brilliance," she continued as her giant snake slithered across the surface of the vanity. She held out her hands to her pet it made its way up and around her neck where it loosly hung from her shoulders.
*But you do realize missssstresssss that it is a rather risky thing that you have done.* Came the snakes calm reply, its voice as cold and smooth as its skin.
"I simply unleashed a demon capable of destroying the entire world. . . placing in his head the thought that the young princess of Hyrule would make a very suitable queen at his side." She told the snake inocently and if the snake had eye lids it would have simply blinked at her.
*You only did sssuch thingssss to spite your sissster. . . but do you really need to place the world in jepordy every time she doesss sssomething of thisss magnatude?* was the snakes answer which was met by a small chuckle.
"It adds drama. . . besides those pathetic Hyrulians could use a little excitement after 7 properly passing years," Arieties said walking to her wardrobe. She threw it open taking from it a beautiful red silk dress that reveiled a lot of cleavage. Laughing as she dressed herself in it she was going to enjoy this bit of chaos which she created.
........................................................................................................................
Ok so..... my characters have only been introduced to the plot for a little while and already Arieties has decided to cause a bunch of mayham...
fun!
I wouldnt mind some reviews by the way. . .
