Then I was called Radiant Jen Zi. I arrived in the Imperial City with the help of Kang the Mad and his Marvelous Dragonfly. The Black Whirlwind and I met Silk Fox in the Scholars' Garden. I had met her before in Tien's Landing, but then she was just Silk Fox, now she turned out to be Princess Lian Hai and is also my lover. We approached her and she said,

"Hello, to find your master I suggest you either seek out Scholar Dongow or gain the Lotus Executioner's attention in the arena."

"I guess I'll go with the latter."

I looked behind me, "Whirlwind do you still want to go."

"Sure I'll join ya."

Now, Black Whirlwind was an interesting guy. He was a big, brutish, drunk, killing obsessed madman with dual axes, but I liked him. Funny as hell too, I recall one such experience when Kang, Silk Fox, Zu, Whirlwind, Sky, Dawn Star, Chai Ka, and I were sitting by the campfire. It was before the fight with Grand Inquisitor Jia. I walked up to Whirlwind and asked,

"How's it going?"

"The boredom is always greatest before the storm. Could we poke a stick in the eye of this squall and get moving."

"Don't worry the battle will come soon enough. Ready yourself."

"I always have my fists, so I'm always ready. If I lose those I'll have bigger problems. In fact, hey Kang make me a wine bowl I can hold with stumps."

"Yours or someone else's?" Kang asked.

"Now that's an idea I can get behind."

I just laughed.

Anyways, we made our way to the arena and to Qui the Promoter.

"I'd like to join the arena."

"Okay what's your name."

"Radiant Jen Zi."

"Okay, that will do for now, your first opponent is Hapless Han."

"Well, I'm ready now."

I stood in the ring and conjured a fireball and set Han aflame then pulled out my swords and shredded him.

I had decimated every one in the Bronze and Silver Division; I was about to go against Iron Soldier, the Silver Champion. I was in my quarters relaxing the night before my fight. Silk Fox came in a short, thin kimono.

"I wanted to give you some encouragement before the fight."

Silk Fox ran a hand across my thigh and ass causing me to moan. Silk Fox smirked at the effect and brought her lips to my neck, gently sucking on the side.

I wanted revenge, but for some reason I'm glad I didn't kill him. I wouldn't of felt better, what I'm trying to say is thank you for taking me with you. Traveling with you has given me a new perspective on life."

I walked up to the bar and ordered a wine bowl and fried bear's heart. The arena was full of screaming fans; Iron Soldier came out sporting his claws that were essential for the Leaping Tiger technique. I was tired and wanted to get this over with so I pulled out the Mirabelle, a gun I won for an outlander from the Mysterious East. I shot him in the legs, pulled out my swords and sliced him in half.

I was up to Crimson Kendra, the Gold Division champ and a most difficult foe. I laced up my shin-high leather boots slipped on my red and blue skirt with matching sleeveless top. I tied my swords to my arms and set up the spring. I walked out into the arena.

"Jen Zi, Jen Zi," the crowd cheered.

The bell sounded. I pushed the button and the swords sprang out into my hands. I charged at the other woman, but she side stepped and delivered a devastating kidney punch. I quickly recovered and slashed at her wildly. She flipped over me and kicked me in the back; she also grabbed one of my swords and slashed my face, right under the eyes. She automatically thought I was down, boy was she wrong while she raised her arms in triumph I snuck up behind her and thrust the sword through her neck.

After that, I earned the nickname 'Crimson Tears'.
