A Kiss Makes It Better...
More fluff!
RVB isn't mine...
-----------------------------------------------------
Caboose walked into the kitchen in search of a snack, only to find Church seated at the table, staring into his bowl of cereal instead of eating it. He seemed...stressed, Caboose decided.
"Hi Church!"
"Morning, Caboose," Church mumbled, more to the tabletop than to Caboose.
"Aww, what's the matter, Church? You seem sad," Caboose inquired.
"It's nothing, Caboose. Really"
"If you're sad, it's not nothing."
"It's nothing, Caboose!" Church stated, growing irritated with the rookie.
"Would a kiss make it better? When I was little, my mommy would kiss all my boo-boos and make them better," Caboose explained.
"No, rookie, a kiss would not make it better," said Church, being slightly sarcastic.
"I think a kiss would make it better," said Caboose, moving closer to Church. Before Church could react, Caboose's hand was on the back of his neck, pulling him in close for a kiss. Church resisted for the shortest of moments before relaxing into the kiss, his arms wrapping around Caboose to pull him closer. When they finally parted, they stood staring into each other's eyes for a moment before the silence was broken.
"Caboose?"
"Yes, Church?"
"A kiss made it better."
