Kai Kensai
Born in Japan
Heritage: Half Chinese and Half Japanese
Age: 22
Weapon mastery: A Katana and Shuriken along with Kunai and Sickle
Job: Assassin, Ninja
Description: he is 5’9 has a Japanese eye patch on his right eye, black spiked hair, a crimson head band, a scar near his left eye, has a black jacket, a black long sleeved shirt, baggy pants, sandals, crimson arm guards and knuckle gloves.
Family: Died due to unknown causes, master died from old age, and Miko
Life: Born as the heir to the Kensai name, he grew up constantly training and becoming stronger to become worthy of the Kensai title, trained in the art of shadows, his father was Japanese and his mother was Chinese. At the age of 10 they died and he was left in the care of his master where he met a girl named Miko when he was 12. At the age of 16 he mastered the art of shadows and became the youngest master everywhere he then at 19 his master died in his sleep leaving him alone. While reading one of his master’s books he came upon Soul Edge. Later he had found out Miko had become engaged and secluded himself to training. Shortly after he found Miko had become severely ill and decided to go after Soul Edge to save her. He left on a journey to find the sword that would save her and this is where the story begins.
It had been 3 years since he had left to find Soul Edge with no hope in the first years since the rumors of the sword had died, but suddenly they reappeared with the name of the Azure Knight going around, Kai then near the sword had come back and would be his for the taking. Unfortunately many other fighters from all around the world were looking for the sword including demons like the one called Necrid.
Flashback
It had almost been a year since Kai had started his journey in search of Soul Edge and his journey had lead him all the way to his mother’s homeland China, there he found out about the demon of the country killing any warrior that passed, thinking it was the fabled Azure Knight Kai foolishly went after the rumor. While walking in the forest alone he heard a roar come from afar and he decided to investigate, to his luck he found a demon with green skin, a giant orb in the center of it’s body and a mutated left hand eating away at human flesh of it’s dead victims and the smell of rotting corpse had hung in the air. “This must be the demon.” Said Kai as he watched Necrid from the shadows; Kai then disappeared into the shadows to await the demon’s guard to drop. As Necrid finished his meal Kai then appeared from the shadows holding his katana up to Necrid’s face “Where is Soul Edge?” demanded Kai, for a moment Kai could have sworn he saw the demon’s eyes light up. Necrid then dropped to the floor and swept Kai off his feet making Kai do a back flip. With the distance between them Kai then readied himself for the demon’s next move which surprised him, Necrid began to form two swords with his hands made of energy “Amazing.” Whispered Kai as he jumped up hoping to land on Necrid’s head killing him, but the blow never came, Necrid had jumped up too and the two were fighting in the air slowly coming back to the ground with Necrid swinging his two energy swords at Kai wildly and Kai blocking them, but barely which cost him when Necrid then caught Kai’s right arm with his left and threw him into the floor from 7 feet in the air. Kai wasn’t so lucky he had landed not so smoothly and in fact dislocated his arm “Damn it!” he yelled as he stood back up holding his shoulder. Necrid landed smoothly and then formed a giant axe with his hands, he then roared and charged towards Kai, Kai then used his speed to avoid the blow and get behind him to soon receive a back kick to the face as if Necrid had known he do that sending Kai into a bamboo tree near by cracking it in half and then it landed on Kai, thinking he was dead Necrid slowly walked away not wanting to eat him “Get back here!” commanded Kai as he stood up and hit his shoulder against another bamboo tree relocating it, Necrid soon turned around to see a Shuriken fly right at him barely dodging it in time “Tell me where Soul Edge is you freak!” yelled Kai, Necrid ignored him and then formed a giant sword with his hands “Then you die now.” Said Kai as he then prepared his attack. Necrid became impatient and charged directly at Kai soon seeing that he had moved at extremely fast speeds as if he were a blur to pick up his katana again. Necrid looked around nervously waiting for Kai to reappear. “You were a fool not to tell me where Soul Edge was.” Said Kai as his voice echoed in the forest “Look up” said Kai as Necrid then looked up to see Kai hovering over him “eat this!” yelled Kai as he then formed a fire ball with his hands and threw it at Necrid, Necrid only took the blow and hit the ground in flames. “It’s over.” Said Kai walking away, he then turned to see the ashes to find Necrid standing up and shaking off the flames with a giant roar “You should of stayed down.” Said Kai as he then readied his sword, Necrid no longer wanting to play around focused his energy into the palms of his hands to make balls of energy he would punch Kai, the two then rushed at each other “The power comes from the orb.” Thought Kai as he rushed towards Necrid, at the last second Kai ducked and barely missing Necrid’s hand to stab him right through the orb causing Necrid to stand there in pain and shock “Now it ends.” Said Kai grinning as he then pulled out his sword and cut then carved out Necrid’s orb spewing his black blood all over the place, while Necrid screamed in agony and pain. Kai then removed the sword and cut off Necrid’s arms and dislocated his legs with a swift kick leaving Necrid semi kneeling on the floor. Necrid just sat there in his own blood as his life slowly slipped away as each gallon of blood came gushing out wondering how a human could have done this, Kai then walked away to hear Necrid scream out in pain one last time “SHUT UP!” yelled Kai as he then threw his Shuriken in Necrid’s direction cutting off his head and returning back to Kai who then passed out when he caught it.
End flash back
Luckily for Kai he was saved by a stranger and awoke to see only the stranger’s caped body except the stranger’s eyes. “Thanks.” Said Kai as the stranger then left Kai to be alone, from there the stranger never returned. However on the good note Kai was able to get the bounty for the demon since he later returned to the spot and bagged it’s head. Two days later Kai then left China to go west hearing of Azure Knight’s rampages throughout the continent called Europe.
