Unusual Attraction
Disclaimer: Koei owns the charactors, not me! Pity too...
Author note: I've never wrote a yuri fic before so sorry of you don't like this. Very short chapter and most of the update probably will be as well.
Ch.1
One voice after another gave their report till they were nothing more than a dull mumble to Xiang. Why had she agreed to sit through the meeting? Ah yes, Zhang Fei and Guan Yu’s constant taunting that she was like an attack dog. They point and she killed it with no real sense of what was going on. It wasn’t true, she knew as much about what was going on as they did, she just had more fun with it. Xiang had to bite back a groan when she noticed Zhang Fei was speaking. The man was just as annoying sober as he was drunk, especially when he was arguing with his brothers of the battled strategy…like now. The argument was getting heated only this time it was between Fei and her husband’s new strategist. Fei obviously didn’t like the idea of retreating as a strategy. Personally she thought it was a good idea, run and trick the enemy into falling into an ambush, what could be easier?
A yelled curse from Fei and the sudden clang of metal against metal quickly silenced the room. Xiang blinked and let her eyes travel down the end of Fei’s spear to the scythe that had blocked the deadly blow from connecting to the strategist. Xiang had never seen the woman move or even knew she was there, now she stood by her husband’s side in a deadlock with the general. Her fierce gaze and calm voice never gave the slightest hint to the strain it must be taking to hold the lock.
“You fight among yourselves like a pack of rabid dogs while Wei moves closer with each passing day. Now is not the time for such bickering. Everyone will have to pull together if you ever expect to beat Wei.”
She shot her husband a disapproving glance as she stepped back from the table for taunting the big man. Xiang’s eyes never left the woman as she returned to her seat in the corner. She seemed so small and fragile, but her actions said otherwise. Guan Yu’s booming laughter drew her attention away from the strange woman to the now lightened mood of the meeting. She gave a small smile as the tension quickly faded and her friends were back to they’re usual joking selves.
Xiang was thankful when the meeting finally ended and wasted no time in getting out of the tent. She stood outside and stretch her aching limbs while she waited on her husband to finish his business. The sound of rustling robes and a quiet chuckle drew her attention away from the tent flap. It was the strategist and his wife heading back toward they’re tent. She couldn’t quite make out what they were saying so she crept closer to the two, careful to stay out of sight.
“Don’t give me that look, Liang. I only did what any woman capable would have.”
Xiang could see the glint of amusement in his eyes as he looked at his wife. His voice was soft and calm despite the teasing tone it held at the moment.
“Do you not think I am capable of defending myself? I was merely waiting for the proper moment to act.”
Xiang couldn’t help but smile when she laughed. She had never heard anything like it before. Hearing the Qiaos laugh hurt her ears cause it was more of a squeal than a laugh, but this woman’s laughter was so different.
“More like waiting for me to save your ass again!”
His eyes widened slightly as he looked down at her.
“Such language for a lady.”
“Ah, but I’m no lady so I’m excused.”
The amusement in his eyes turned to a mischievous gleam as he held the tent flap open for her. Xiang started to turn and head to her own tent when the thud of the scythe falling the ground and the woman’s soft gasp kept her from taking another step. She looked around to make sure no one else was in the area before quietly walking up to the tent. She carefully parted the tent flap just enough to see the occupants. A blush slowly crept across her cheeks at what she saw. The strategist had his wife pinned to the bed with her top open and was trailing kisses down her chest and stomach as he unlaced her pants. Xiang’s eyes never strayed from the scene before her as his robe soon joined her clothes on the tent floor.
They’re positions were switched and she moved to straddle his hips. She lowered her hips and tilted her head back slightly as she gave a soft moan. The light from the single candle burning beside the bed flickered in her eyes giving them an almost unearthly glow. Xiang’s eyes roamed over the woman’s body, taking in every curve as her ears strained to hear every soft gasp that came from her lips. She gave a slight whimper as she felt herself start to get wet and quickly covered her mouth as she darted away from the tent. The last thing she needed was to get caught spying on them.
