Shadowed Dreams


Sleeping soundly inside my own mind
Shadows of dreams dancing in the moonlight
Can you hear the screaming from within?
The stars keeping me awake all night

Feathers of white and silver
Eyes of red and black
Love never shows fear..
I cant go back

The mistakes I've created
So much pain from them all
The ever lasting evil
Laughing as I fall from my mind

Shadowed dreams
Am I able to catch my own spirit?
Once again like before
Let my soul take wing..
I let myself fall down into the abyss
Of my shadowed dreams

Can't fall asleep again
My mind making my life unbearable
Watching others I love
I can't go on anymore

My heart still dreams
Of the one time I was loved
My mind still fears
Of the times I was betrayed

I wish I could be heard
Where I’m standing
I cant be seen from here
Atop a cold mountain
Standing with all my tears

Shadowed dreams
Am I able to see myself again?
Just like the time before
Let myself fall from here
Down into the deepest despair
Of my Shadowed dreams

Why cant we see
I was never there before
Inside my mind
I can’t comprehend
Why I wasted all those times
All the precious moments I spend

It can’t be real
Its not that I cant feel
Of course I can see
That in this reality
You’re all here
But it feels like...Im so alone

Shadowed Dreams
A fantasy I don’t know
A feeling so familiar to me
Oh why couldn’t I see all this
Its so simple...like a kiss
You could belong to me
My sweet dreams of bliss
Swirling down to the end
Of my Shadowed dreams.....
