Only a Kiss

This is my first, and probably last, lemon, so be gentle with it. This is actually a rewrite of a story previously written for a fanfic contest- which didn't win, but oh well.

Disclaimer: Note that I don't own the characters or the game. I think Namco does. I'm not sure. In any event, this is for entertainment purposes only; I'm not getting any money for this.

In any case, enjoy.

It was raining.

It was raining. In Triet.

Of course it was raining in Triet. Why wouldn't it be raining in Triet? It's not like it was a desert or anything like that. Not that Lloyd really knew if it was raining in the city Triet. He was, after all, stuck in the Triet ruins, with no umbrella. The group was in Triet so Sheena could form a pact with the Summon Spirit Efreet, which she had succeeded in doing, as well as severing the mana flow between Efreet and Celcius, and causing an earthquake that resulted in the Triet ruins becoming completely unstable. Professor Sage had dropped one of her precious study artifacts in their hasty retreat, and after three solid hours of listening to Raine whine and cry over it, Lloyd offered to go find it and immediately bolted out the inn door.

He did not, of course, have a clue what he was looking for, and in his haste to be away from Raine's complaining, had neglected to ask her for that minor detail. He realized this the moment he stepped foot in the ruins. Two seconds later, the gods decided to add insult to injury by pissing on his head. Thus stranding Lloyd, under an overhang that did little to keep the rain off him, in Triet ruins, with no umbrella. Which was, of course, entirely his fault. After all, why wouldn't it be raining in Triet anyway?

He frowned as the rain fell harder, suspecting the gods didn't appreciate his sarcastic attitude.

Lloyd hugged himself and brushed his soaked hair out of his face, shivering. He was cold. In the middle of the Triet desert. That fact was something nearly incomprehensible to him. He pondered, momentarily, leaving what small protection the ruins gave him from the pouring rain and making a run for the city, but quickly eliminated that choice from his mind. He doubted he'd be able to run very fast on the soaked sand. There was little he could do but wait out this impromptu rain storm.

His thoughts were interrupted when the rain continued out beyond his hiding place, but stopped immediately overhead. He blinked and looked up, and started as he saw the underside of a blue umbrella. "It is highly uncharacteristic of you to be brooding," the newcomer stated blandly.

Lloyd turned to face him. "Yuan! What are you doing here?"

The Seraph grunted in slight amusement. "We caught sight of you on our surveillance montiors in the base. It appeared that you might require assistance."

"Ah... thanks." Lloyd felt his face flush slightly. It was oddly flattering that Yuan himself would come out just to keep the rain off him. "I don't suppose you'd bring you and your umbrella back to Triet, would you?"

Yuan shook his head. "We're staying here until the rain breaks, then you can go on your own."

"'Kay." Lloyd huffed and brushed his stray bangs back again; beside him now, Yuan inhaled a little sharply and muttered something under his breath. "Huh?"

"I was just observing that you remind me of an old friend," Yuan answered. "What were you doing out here alone, anyway?"

Lloyd made a face. "Professor Sage dropped something when we were leaving the ruins. I came out to find it for her."

"Alone?" Yuan repeated, arching an eyebrow.

The teenager chuckled. "I didn't give anyone a chance to come with me. I was too worried with getting away from her."

"Why?"

Lloyd set Yuan with an odd expression that lifted almost immediately. "Oh yeah, that's right. You've never seen her in research mode."

The Seraph raised the other eyebrow, considering thing, then responded, "I don't want to know, do I?"

"Not really." Lloyd looked back out into the storm, realizing that he still had to deal with Raine's ranting when he returned, probably louder than before due to Lloyd running off. Alone.

"So what are you looking for?"

"Oh! Uh... Actually, I have no idea." Lloyd was certain his face was bright red now as he ran a hand through his drenched hair.

Yuan rolled his eyes, again muttering under his breath and holding something out. "This, perhaps?"

Lloyd examined the object Yuan was offering with his free hand. He had no idea what it was, but it certainly looked like something the Professor would be interested in. "Sure!" Lloyd said cheerfully. "I'm sure that will do even if it's not what she lost! Thanks!"

Yuan yanked the object away from him suddenly, a smirk on his face. "Ah-ah! I don't give things away for free." Lloyd blinked, wondering what in the two worlds Yuan could possibly want from him. "I want to see just how much like that old friend you are."

"Uh... What do you mean?"

The Seraph put the object down on a ledge gently and stepped a bit closer to the teenager. "Kiss me."

"Wh-what?!"

"Oh, don't look at me like that," Yuan smirked. "I know you were watching when Regal and Zelos-"

Lloyd choked. "You know about that?! How?!"

"I see all! I know all!" Yuan smirked at how flustered his unwitting companion was getting. "You do want to avoid Raine's fury, do you not? All I want is a simple kiss, no more."

At this point, Lloyd's face was burning almost painfully. "Fine!" he snapped. Before he could hesitate- he really didn't want to endure more of Raine's ranting- he stepped forward and planted his lips firmly on Yuan's. His eyes widened in slight shock when Yuan's free hand came up to the back of his head, holding him in that position, but... but... but...

... this felt nice...

Lloyd didn't quite understand why, but he did know that when something felt nice, he didn't want it to stop, and so when he felt Yuan begin to pull away, he brought his own arms up around him and held him still this time. Yuan gasped into his mouth slightly and pressed closer, the umbrella slipping out of his grasp. He brought his now-free hand up to return the embrace as the kiss became more heated.

The pair sank to the ground, hands exploring each other's bodies. Lloyd was filled with confusion; he'd thought only of ever kissing Colette and here he was kissing the man he had only a grudging truce with. And they were doing so much more than kissing, on the ground with Yuan on top of him and the hands and oh goddess Yuan's hips were grinding against his and that felt nice.

Lloyd's eyes snapped open as he felt Yuan's hand gently massaging his erection. Embarrassed at both his arousal and what Yuan was doing with it, Lloyd broke the kiss and pushed Yuan away firmly. “I thought you only wanted a kiss!”

“That was all I wanted,” came a clipped reply. “You, however, seem to want more. I can stop if you like.” Abruptly, the hand came away from his body and Lloyd squirmed. He wanted to tell Yuan yes, stop, but the words wouldn't escape his throat. All that came out, much to his chagrin, was a moan that sounded distinctly pleading. Yuan grinned wickedly. “That's what I thought.”

As Yuan sat on his knees, straddling Lloyd's waist, he resumed his ministrations earnestly, rubbing Lloyd through his pants and watching the boy writhe beneath him with interest. He had to say that he was never this animated; but now Yuan had to wonder what Lloyd tasted like. So far there were few similarities between him and Lloyd, Yuan was most interested in if there was one.

Still firmly rubbing Lloyd's arousal, Yuan's free hand went to one of the suspenders holding Lloyd's pants. Having released it, he moved to the other, then to the buttons on his trousers, and was met with Lloyd's hands gripping his wrist. “What are you doing, Yuan?” he demanded, face flushed and breathing heavily.

“Something that you'll like a hundred times better than just friction,” Yuan replied, pulling away from Lloyd's grip hard. Not expecting the sudden motion, Lloyd released Yuan, then grabbed him again when Yuan made another attempt to unbutton his pants. Yuan let out an exasperated sigh. “Lloyd, you're going to get hurt if you keep resisting. You said before that you'd trust me.”

“About the Great Seed, not-!”

Yuan leaned down, his face close to Lloyd's, and said in a deadly whisper, “Trust me absolutely or the deal is off.”

At that, Lloyd released Yuan again and stopped struggling. Yuan had asked for a kiss. What had he gotten himself into?

Lloyd laid perfectly still, trying to force his erection down as Yuan worked on his pants, pulling them down around his knees. Preparing himself for the unknown, Lloyd closed his eyes and took two deep breaths before the most equisite sensation he'd ever known engulfed him. Lloyd looked down to see Yuan's lips around his penis, bobbing up and down softly.

The teenager closed his eyes again and leaned back against his elbows, moaning loudly. Encouraged by the boy's response, Yuan quickened his pace, bringing his hands up to work the base of Lloyd's cock as his tongue flicked over the head and twirled around it.

Lloyd didn't last long. The Seraph pulled up until only the head was in his mouth and gave Lloyd's erection three firm strokes and the boy exploded in Yuan's mouth, the most intense feeling he'd ever experienced. When it was over, Lloyd fell back in the sand, gasping for air. Yuan swallowed every bit of Lloyd's cum. Well, he does taste like him.

Yuan stood, smoothing his hair and straightening his clothes, mentally ordering his own manhood to behave itself, and looked around. “The rain has stopped.”

Lloyd, recovering from his orgasm, pulled up his pants and buttoned them, standing. “Hey, you're right! I can get back to Triet now-” The events that had just transpired suddenly entered his mind again; for some reason, he didn't want to be separated from Yuan now. “Do you want to come with me back to Triet? You could come with us.”

“No,” came the tart reply. “Do your suspenders. And not a word about what has occurred here, understand?”

Just imagining what the Professor would do to him if she heard what they'd done out here was enough to make him mutely nod as he pulled his suspenders over his shoulders and fastened them. “Good. See to it that your group hurries along and finishes releasing the seals.”

Yuan turned to leave; “Wait!” Lloyd called out, a furious scarlet blush touching his cheeks. “Don't you... want... you know...?”

A slight smile came to the Seraph's lips. “Perhaps next time. I just wanted to see if you were like him.”

“And... am I? Like whoever you're talking about? Who is he?”

“You are, in some ways. And that's none of your business.” Before Lloyd could ask another stupid question, Yuan teleported away.

Lloyd sighed and grabbed the umbrella Yuan had abandoned. Perhaps the other man would come for it. And then, maybe they could do that again. Maybe, Lloyd thought, shaking himself. Maybe it shouldn't have happened at all, that's what! With an indignant grunt, Lloyd started his long trek back to Triet.
