Tucker reflected on how this had all started, he and Church had been lazing around in wearing only their fabric suit liners, their armor sitting at the base of the flag. They didn’t do this often, but they were completely sure the Reds wouldn’t attack them, through the sniper scope Church saw the Pink one talking about something, pretty disturbing at a guess, to the others driving them off, scattering the reds all over the area.

Church darted into Tucker’s personal space, placed his hands on the sides of Tucker’s head and pulled Tucker in toward him. Before Tucker could object Church kissed him for all he was worth. It started a little forcefully but after a few moments it became gentle. After holding him for a few heartbeats he released Tucker’s head and stepped a few feet back, breaking the kiss.

Tucker couldn’t say anything, he just stood their spluttering, while Church stood there looking smug.

“What was that?”

Church slowly started to close the distance between them, “You’re gay, and I’m bored.”

Tucker pressed his hand against Church’s chest stopping his advance. “Why do you think I would do anything with you because you’re bored?”

“Well for one thing Tucker, it’s me OR behind the rock by yourself.”

“What else?”

“Enjoy behind the rock.” He pivoted and started to move away.

“Wait!” Tucker grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back, he wasn’t sure what the hell was going on but... well they had been out here too damn long. And the only other guy there not trying to kill him was Caboose, who was so dumb he didn't even know that he was so in love with Church it wasn't funny.

Church lent in until his lips almost touched Tucker’s own, “Sorry Tucker, you snooze, you lose.”

“But I… but you…”

“Just wanted to know if you were gay, I’m straight… I’m not going to do anything with you. We’ve been out here too long, but not that long.”

“Wait WHAT! You gaywad!”

“Tucker I think I’m the only person here who’s allowed to say that. Hope you enjoy the rock,”

"CockBiting Bastard"

"Hey Church only looks out for number one, and right now I needed some entertainment. Bright side, now your balls go with the armor, guys like you love colour co-ordination."

“You could only do that since you hate me the most. I freaking bet you, that you wouldn’t do that to Caboose”

“I’ve told you both that I hate BOTH of you.”

“Afraid to take that bet?”

“Fine, if that’ll prove to you that I hate you all. What do you want to bet?”

“Sniper Riffle” was Tucker’s immediate response.

“What do I get when I do it to Caboose?”

“Hell, Anything, you won’t do it.”

“You’re going to regret that Tucker, Caboose!”

Caboose heard Church calling him from inside the flag room; Church was talking to him! For Caboose today just kept getting better and better first Pants time and then Nap Time and now Church was calling him.

Caboose walked into the flag room, and looked at Church, he looked very different without his helmet. He looked even more… Friendly, Caboose thought about suggesting that Church should get a clear faceplate instead of the golden reflecty glass. The Reds would like them if they saw how Friendly Church looked.

“Caboose take off your helmet.”

“Sure Church, anything you say.”

Tucker watched as Caboose fingers wondered across the armor looking for the tabs that crack the helmets seals. His fingers went over the Tabs four times before Caboose realised they were what he was looking for and pressed them. The helmet seals began to release one by one, and as Caboose clasped the helmet in his hands and started to pull it off, Tucker realised that neither he nor Church had ever actually seen Caboose take his helmet off in the entire time they’d known him.

Caboose got his helmet fully off and smiled at Church, then noticed Tucker and grinned at him for a moment. Caboose didn’t like taking his helmet off, back home people, girls especially, kept staring at him, so when Caboose got his suit, with its wonderful relecty gold faceplate, it was a dream come true. People only stared at him cause he was a Spartan, not because he was ugly.

Tucker just stared, he could barely even blink, Caboose shocked him, Caboose wasn’t anything like he expected under the armor. He had been expecting a bland looking guy with a sort of fresh off the farm look to him, nothing like what was before him.

Church was pretty surprised himself, but not quite enough to stop him from being able to string a sentence together.

“Take your armor off too”

Caboose felt their eyes on him, he knew ever since people started staring at him when he was 16, he started to blush, now they knew what he looked like and Church probably wouldn’t ever want to be his best friend now. But Church wanted him to take the armor off, so of course he did, he realised long ago he would do anything Church asked, of course, since he wanted him as his best friend.

Caboose found the seals and his armor’s seals started splitting open, sliding off into a pile of split segments at his feet. Caboose knew his body wasn’t that bad, lots of people who lived where he lived as a boy had bodies like his, so Church and Tucker would have to be ok with it, right?

Tucker knew that Caboose had to muscled, in the words of Sarge Caboose was ‘Strong as an Ox’ so it stood to reason that he would be pretty ripped. But combined with his face and hair Caboose didn’t look anything like a Rookie Spartan Grunt. Most guys fresh out of boot had a crewcut, a tan, and barely enough muscle to run with a rocket launcher without their armor, but Caboose….

Caboose in Tucker’s honest unbiased opinion wasn’t just handsome, he was fuckin’ beautiful, but still manly looking. He was dumb, unbelievably dumb, but hot. When Church couldn’t go through with it, maybe he would show Caboose a little game. He idly wondered if Caboose had ever had a girl or boy friend, looking like he did he was probably hit on constantly and just didn’t realise it. Come to think of it Caboose acted pretty shy when he first took the helmet off.

Caboose didn’t exactly like the look Tucker was giving him, but Church looked at him normally, he didn’t care that Caboose looked like this. He felt his eyes water a little. And of course said the first thing that came to mind.

“Church, you don’t care that I look like this. You’re not looking at me like I’m bad and wrong looking, it’s cause you’re my Best friend right? Tuckers looking at me like that, like everyone else did.”

Church was confused, Caboose sounded relieved, what the hell was going on in that moronic head of his? Tucker was … the fuck, he was checking out Caboose. Then it clicked, this was too much even for him, Caboose thought that people stared because he was ugly. As an (essentially) straight guy even Church had to admit Caboose was handsome.

Tucker smiled a little darkly, this was perfect, not only was Caboose obsessed with Church but he was hot, if Church really was straight there is no way he could go through with it. That fucking sniper riffle was so close to being his he could almost feel the weight of it in his hands, soon he would be the one on the cliff telling Church what was going on with the Reds.

Church smiled at Caboose and started to move towards him, “Caboose people don’t stare because you’re ugly. They stare because you look, good, you know for a guy.”

Tucker was successful at holding in his snickering but the smirk, the smirk was so powerful it was unable to be contained, Church was toast.

Caboose’s breathing deepened and his heartbeat quickened, Church had… had to just be being a friend, and he was coming closer to him. Caboose decided it was really nice of Church to say that, and Church was still getting closer.

Church allowed himself a side glance to make sure Tucker was watching, then took Caboose’s left hand in his own while at the same time bringing his right hand up to cup Caboose’s check, gently stroking the stubble.

Caboose had looked tense for a moment, but after a while he relaxed into the stroking pressing into Church’s palm, Church decided now it was time to win this bet. He started a cycle where he moved in a little closer, then waited a while to make sure he hadn’t scared Caboose off.

In no time Church was standing with just inches between their chests. Church released Caboose’s hand and ran his hand along his arm, tracing the contours of the muscles until he was at Caboose’s shoulder, after resting their for a moment he continued on following along the shoulder, up along his neck before nestling his hand in the shaggy hair on the back of Caboose’s head.

Church pulled Caboose forward gently guiding Caboose’s head down so their lips met, when he kissed Tucker he hadn’t even thought to see what they felt like, Caboose’s lips were firm yet had a slight give to them like his own, they weren’t pouty or dainty. They were strong, unlike any of the women he had kissed; even Tex for all her perfect killing machine skills still had feminine lips.

Caboose was confused, more so then usual; Church was kissing him, were best friends supposed to kiss? Well since Church knew much more then Caboose did, he guessed that friends were supposed to do this.

Church ran his tongue along Caboose’s lips, tracing his upper lip before moving on to his lower. Caboose moaned and Church took advantage of the window of opportunity afforded to him.

Caboose felt Church’s tongue in his mouth, Caboose didn’t know what to do. Church’s tongue was so warm, and the when it licked across his pallet Caboose tentatively licked against Church’s tongue. Church’s tongue and his pressed against each other, rubbing, slipping, and tasting the other.

Caboose didn’t want to stop this, this was good, this was very good, so he almost didn’t try something his body just decided it wanted to do. Caboose wrapped his arms around Church’s waist and pulled Church those few precious inches until he was pressed firmly against Caboose’s chest. When Church didn’t stop the tongue thing, Caboose grew even bolder. He licked church’s tongue from the tip back along it until he met Church’s lips, licking over them, asking for something, but he didn’t know what. Church did though, allowed Caboose’s tongue into his mouth, almost trembling as Caboose started to explore his mouth, tasting and stroking everything. He’d been without anyone for way to long, and Caboose was eager, and warm, and strong and kissing him right now.

Church pulled back for a minute, licking caboose’s lips over a few times to reassure him, “Tucker leave”

“Like hell, this is the closest to porn I’ve got”

“You said anything, remember”

“Cockbite!”

Once Tucker, rather sullenly, walked off into the corridors Church went back to doing what he was doing before, and attempted to work out exactly what Caboose tasted like.
