Let's Play a Game
Prologue

“Let’s play a game, Riku.”
Riku started a little, blinking up into the pair of large, ocean-blue eyes that was suddenly looming over him. “A game?” he echoed intelligently. Sora smirked, and Riku found himself a little unnerved by the wicked expression on his -- supposedly -- innocent friend. “What sort of game?” the silver-haired teenager asked carefully. His brunette friend’s smile widened.
“Hide-and-seek,” Sora replied. “But with a twist.”
One silver brow hiked itself up. “A twist. Do tell…”
Sora planted his hands on either side of Riku’s hips where the older boy sat on the curved trunk of the paopu tree. He leaned closer, and Riku felt his heart speed up as his young friend brought their lips within inches of touching. “This won’t be just a kids’ game on these islands.” The second silver brow joined the first, and Sora grinned as he continued. “All the worlds you and I have seen are fair game. And every time you find me, I’ll give you something nice.”
Riku blinked and found himself smirking. “’Something nice’? And what exactly does that mean?”
Sora giggled a little, lifting a hand to brush his fingertips against Riku’s lips, making his older friend twitch a bit and lick his lips on reflex. Sora purred very softly as a warm tongue tip met the pads of his fingers for an instant. “You’ll just have to wait and see, won’t you?” he murmured before straightening and sauntering back towards the bridge. “We’ll start tomorrow morning. Meet me right here,” he said over his shoulder, and then he was gone, dashing back towards the main island and leaving a dumbfounded Riku staring after him.
Very slowly the aqua-eyed teenager began to grin, his smile eventually turning into an expectant smirk as he gazed off in the direction his friend had gone. Oh, this was going to be fun…
