1) Capture
In the deepest fathoms of space orbits the planet known as Neopia, which is home to an assortment of creatures known as Neopets and one of these pets was a big blue Lupe named Balthazar.
Ledgen says that he was abandoned as a pup and he became lost in the Haunted Woods. After hours of wandering, he came across a feild with a purple glow which turned out to be a large group of Dark Faeries. He approached them with the hope that they would help them only to be chased away as they threw sticks and stones at him as they laughed and taunted him. Thus, his hatred of the Faeries began as he soon learned to survive these woods on his own.
As he grew older, he devised many ways to capture Faeries and keep them in bottles so as he could torment them as he was once tormented. Yet when other Neopets heard about his collection of Faeries, they sought him out and paid handsomely for the tiny beings which he hated with every fiber of his being. Balthazar was quick to part with the bottled faeries and take the Neopoints that were given to him in exchange. After that, it didn't take him long to become a professional bounty hunter of Faeries in which he would sell them to stores and Neopets at exuberant prices.
Yet there were those who didn't approve of Balthazar's way of making money...
* * *
One evening, Balthazar was in one of the vast forests that lined the landscape of Neopia and the unspoiled borders of Neopia Central. He was here on business due to rumors he had heard of Faeries being in the area. So far, he had allready capture ten of the beautiful little beings...well, they were vile in his eyes.
He had captred another one and was about to place it in a bottle when said bottle broke into many peices. Surprised, Balthazar gasped and lost his grasp on the tiny Earth Faerie and she quickly flew away to safety before he could get his paws on her again. Yet just when he was about to curse her, her heard more bottles break and whirled around to see the Faeries he had captured fleeing from their broken prisions.
"Noooo!" the enrarge Lupe howled as he tried in vain to grab the little Faeries but they were quicker than he and they escaped to freedom. Balthazar looked down at his bottles to see pebbles amongst the broken shards of glass. With a low growl, he looked up and scanned his eyes around his surroundings as the sun slowly sank behind the trees and made its way towards the horizon. He knew somebody was there, he just had to find them. His nose and senses told him that they were still there, hiding someplace and very much afraid.
"I know you're still here," Balthazar said with a smirk as he slowly prowled the clearing for some sign of the one who broke his bottles.
Meanwhile, hidden in a bush behind the giant Lupe was a red cloaken figure. The bush was small so the figure was knealt down and huddled up against itself as it clutched a sling shot in terror. The figure kept as silent as snow as it clutched a sling shot to its chest and its heart beated so hard in its chest that it thought that the Lupe was sure to hear it.
The figure was right though, Balthazar could hear the faint loud thumping of fleash and the stench of fear just wafering through the air. Even so, he was still having trouble pinpointing his quary. All he needed was some sort of noise to lure them out...and he had an idea as to how to acheive this.
"You know, for one so bold to break my bottles, it seems as if you aren't as bold to face me. Are you?" the wild Lupe asked, the last part with a such a menacing growl. It was that growl which force a wave of fear upon the figure whom began to shake uncontrolably. At the same time that this shaking caused the leaves of the bush to rustle, the figure chocked back a small feminine sob that tried to claw its way out of the figure's throat.
Balthazar whirled around at the sound of the sob and dashed straight for the bush. The figure looked up at the sound of running and saw the wild blue Lupe as it came straight for her. She panicked and began to flee but wasn't fast enough as she was soon pounced upon and thrown from the bush. If it hadn't been for the hooded red cloak, her cloths and fleash would have been caught by the branches. In the end though, the female figure landed on her back with a heavy thud as the wind was nearly knocked out of her and Balthazar nearly landed on top of her as he kneeled over her. He didn't place his weight on the figure below him as he balenced himself on all fours by keepings all his paws on the ground around the figure.
When the two had fallen, the cloak furled open and the hood feel back to reveal a five foot and five inch tall female shadow Aisha with shoulder length silvery grey hair and beautiful deep blue eyes dressed in a green ankle length skirt, white peasent blouse that hung off the shoulders and a Renaisance style green and black corset that was laced up with black ribbons. Needless to say, Balthazar was surprised to find that not only was his quary a female, but a beautiful one at that.
Balthazar couldn't help but to stare at the beauty that laid underneath him and his trance was broken the moment that she groaned and opened her midnight blue eyes to look up at him. The two stared at each other before she moved first as she tried to scramble out and away to safety. Balthazar was quick to cut off her escape by both plaicng his right knee between her legs and his paws above her shoulders. His sudden movements surprised her and were enough to make her stop squirming.
"Tell me, who are and why did you break my bottles," Balthazar said in a low menacing voice as the Shadow Aisha merely looked up at him in fear. Yet in spite of herself, the Aisha was too afraid to speak as all she could do was lay there and shake visably in fear. Even so, Balthazar lost his patience and temper at this and slammed his fore paws on the ground so hard that she yipped as she felt the earth below her shudder.
"What is your name?" Balthazar demanded angrily as he glared at the Shadow Aisha.
"Ca...Ca...Callisto," stuttured the frighten Aisha and Balthazar smiled.
"That's better," he said as she shook with fear once again.
"Now, why did you break my bottles?" he demanded in a more controlled tone of anger.
"To free the Faeries," Callisto said.
"I see, you're a Faerie lover then," Balthazar said with narrow eyes and turned back ears.
"Y...yes," Callisto said, slowly regaining her courage...actually, now that she thought about it. It wasn't courage that made her break Balthazar's bottles. It was her anger at seeing those beautiful little creatures having their freedom taken away. And all because a group of stupid Dark Faeries had been mean to him when he was a pup.
At the same time, Balthazar's eyes were narrowed in thought as to how he should punish this one. Yes, he had his bottles broken before by other bold Neopets...but they had been young foolish males who weren't quick enough to escape his claws and ended up being his meal for that night. The delemas this night was that he had allready eaten and this was the first girl to defy him.
'Girl...girl...girl...hmmmm....' Balthazar looked his prey over slowly...well, what parts of her that he could that is. This was basically her head, her long slender arms and lean torso with the hour glass figure and swell of breasts on the chest. He looked these parts over slowly as if he was imprinting her in his memory and this made her shift uncomfortably underneath him. Unbenost to Callisto though, the shifting of her legs rubbed up against his nether regions and produced an interesting feeling. It was something he had felt when he was alone but never from the touch of another though. He closed his eyes and groaned lightly at the sensations her touch had produced and she imeditally frooze in place.
'No! No! No! No! No! No!' Callisto screamed mentally as she stared up at her captor with wide eyes of fright, knowing what she had inadvertally done. Yet when she stopped, he growled lightly as he snapped open his eyes and glared at her as he wasn't pleased when she stole away the nice feelings. Needless to say, his growl produced a light yip of fright from Callisto and she squeezed her shut and turned her face to the right out of fear that he would hurt her.
Balthazar silenced his growl but he continued to glare at her as a small voice demanded that she return the feeling she had taken away...and that was when he got the idea of how to punish her...
