WinK's Story - Chapter One -lingling
((Warning: If you’ve got a problem with homo/bi-sexuality I would suggest that you not continue. Of course, there’s hetero in here as well, but it’s just no fun if you don’t mix it up eh? ^.~
-your fav WinK, a.k.a. Myrrh))
The heavens aren’t want people really think they are. It’s a lot like Earth, but without death, disease, or decay. Everything is colorful and everything is always in bloom. If you want your heart’s desires they will come to you. Traveling never takes long, unless you want it to, and it is never hot or cold, but pleasant, just the touch of slight air on your skin. Beautiful in every way.
God lived in a simple building guarded by armed angels, androgynous as all angels are. Unlike popular belief that most angels are blonde haired and blue eyed like the God Apollo, they are not. Their skin, hair and eyes come in a variety of colors. There are some angels that rule the elements, the wind, the water, fire, trees, flowers, the weather, and those are usually found in the center of the largest town in Heaven, Hope, surrounding God’s own dwelling.
God’s own place of rence nce is a simple house that He never uses. It is surrounded by the most beautiful garden with every animal and plant that He ever created. Jesus would often visit him there, for Jesus was in charge of the angels who helped rule the elements on Earth and in Heaven. One beautiful day after it had rained in heaven, a nice cool downpour, because the plants and animals need it even if the People and the angels do not, Jesus was late for his appointment with God. This was not unusual, because the morning downpour had been unplanned, which meant that one of his angels whose powers were strong enough to control the elements in Heaven had made a mistake. Jesus was probably seeing to it that the angel in question had been talked to.
But for hours He heard no word from His son and God set out to find the disturbance. He knew where His son was, and simply followed the path straight there, ignoring the People who looked on in awe at Him as his armed angels followed. When He reached the dwelling where He knew his son was he walked in unaccompanied, for this was the house of an angel with heavenly elemental powers, one of God’s favorites. But, God did not expect to see what he saw.
Upon entering he went into the living room, which was plainly furnished with things of white and soft blues, nothing too dramatic. On the white couch lay the angel and Jesus. A sudden moan from his son and God’s eyebrows went up. The angel had his eyes closed, not noticing the Almighty in the same room as he pushed farther into his lover. And Jesus moaned again, at the same time the heavenly angel did and they both collapsed into a sweaty heap.
“Thou art banished from Heaven!” God said, still shocked.
Both Jesus and the angel looked up and God looked at the angel, who had bright green eyes, still passionate with love-making, in the eyes and repeated himself. Jesus tried to change his Father’s mind, but in the end it was done. The angel with the heavenly powers of water was banished down onto Earth.
This is his story. His name, where he landed in a place called Gaia, was to be WinK, for knowing an angel’s true name is sacrilege, and can never be heard unless by other Heaven-dwellers. The name was given to him by God, for his acts of indiscretion on the parts of his Son. WinK went forth, and not being the purest of angels, slipped into the humans with no problem at all. More often than naught hid fid for his bed with sexual favors, and sometimes was rewarded with money. Not knowing exactly what to do with the money he kept it until realizing that he had quite a large sum. But more on that later.
Finding love on Earth was a little more complicated that his random romances with Jesus and the other angels. Most of his time on Earth was spent as a female, and he was even married to a man in a town before moving on to look elsewhere. As an angel androgyny wasy, ay, and while they could pass for male or female, morphing their bodies to match, most preferred time as a female. After a few decades (losing count was easy, as he never aged) he reverted to his truer, male form. While he remained married, his spouse not caring what form WinK wore, he still flirted and had lovers. An open marriage.
One morning while exploring a new city, having woken up in an occupant of that cities’ bed, his stomach growled. He was hungry. Looking around he spotted a simple donut shop and stopped in. Looking down he reached out a hand to pick up the last donut with sprinkles on it when a hand hit his. There was a small jolt, like lightning, at the initial touch and he snapped his head up at the same time the other person did to glare over the remaining breakfast food.
He didn’t glare very long, taken slightly aback at what stood before him. A demon, in female form, for demons could change their form like an angel, with horns like that of a ram growing out from her head. Dark hair, black as night, and bright violet eyes which seemed just as shocked as his own green ones were. His mouth was open as she brought up a hand to move his brown, shoulder length hair out of his face from where it had fallen. She was beautiful, dark and graceful, the most exquisite thing he’d seen since Jesus’ ass. He didn’t move.
Until he saw her bite down on the donut. “Hey!” he said, scowling. “That was mine!”
Her eyes twinkled as she chewed slowly before swallowing. “I saw it first,” she said, about to take another bite.
“But it’s the last one with pink sprinkles on it!” he protested.
Her eyebrows snapped. “They’re red.”
“Pink,” he argued, crossing his arms.
She scowled at him and unexpectedly shoved the donut in his mouth, forcing it between his lips. “Whiny angel,” she muttered.
He chewed his mouthful, savoring the donue wae was right, they were pink, he could taste the flavor that belonged to that specific color. Still chewing he watched as she picked out and paid for a large bag of donuts, slipping one with strawberry filling into her jacket where WinK heard a small squeal of glee and then munching noises. With a raised eyebrow he opened his mouth to thank her but insteae jue just said, “C’mon.” With a shrug he shoved his hands into his jacket pockets and followed the demon as she wound her way through the crowded streets.
Occasionally she would have to stop and look around for him, pulling him along as he would stop to stare at the architecture of the crowded houses and buildings, which was ornate. After a while she just grabbed a hold of his jacket sleeve and didn’t let go, muttering things like “feather brain” and “ditz.” After a while they came to a house with a very creepy looking garden out front. While most of the plants looked dead some were still flowering red, purple and black.
He paused at the gate, suddenly weary. “Wait. I don’t even know your name, why are you taking me here?”
She stopped halfway to the door and rolled her eyes as she turned to look at him. “You can call me Hatter all right? You should know that I can’t tell you my real name, and I’m not even going to ask for yours.” She turned around and started walking towards houshouse, pulling out a key for the door as she said, “And you look like you need a shower and a bed for the night. Stupid angels never seem to realize that to live on Earth you have to own things. That and you’re a slut. Wandering the streets in this town might prove to be dangerous if you walk down the wrong one. Someone might do something silly and claim you or something.”
“Can all demons sense angels?” he asked, trotting back forward.
She snorted as she closed the door behind him. “Of course we can, just like you can sense us. Now, what’s your name?”
“WinK.”
Her eyebrows shot up before lowering slowly as she studied him. After a minute her violet eyes went from his head to his toes and back again. He struggled to keep from flushing, but he could sense her interest in him, in more than one way, grow. Finally she just shrugged and turned around, walking off and saying, “I’ve heard of you.”
With a confused visage he trotted after her, watching as she tossed out donuts to some odd creatures, sof tof them Earth in origin, some from Heaven and some from Hell. Some of them spoke Common, but others would speak in two languages, and one, a fiery elemental who was working with a potted plant, didn’t say anything at all. WinK watched silently as he followed her around the house.
In one room, filled with so many books they covered the walls and were stacked so thickly on the floor that it was hard to walk, they stopped. Taking off her jacket he kept his eyes down, lookup tup through the hair that fell in front of his face, catching a glace at her figure, which was slightly feminine. She must have adapted her body more so than usual when changing sexes.
Something crawled out of her jacket, startling him. It was a little creature, maybe eight inches tall, not including the tail almost as long as its body. Hatter said something to it, and WinK assumed it was a male named Amun. Later she explained to him that Amun was a Sylph she had discovered in one of her books. Upon translating the words he floated up out of the pages. Amun now eyed Hatter before chittering angrily to Hatter, climbing up on her shoulder and shooting WinK worried glances.
WinK shifted uncomfortably. Looking up Hatter said, “All right, come on, I’ll show you where you’re staying.”
He followed her to the upstairs, trotting along after her quick pace. A lot of the furniture was dark wood, and the fabrics on the chairs and curtains and other such necessities were all dark colors, greens and blues, but mostly purples and reds. She stopped opposite of a set of double doors and pointed at a single one before opening it, saying, “This is your room.” Inside was a desk, a bed, and a large bay window that looked out into the backyard.
The backyard was nothing like the front. It had pools, mostly connecting and most dirty from being unused. The ones that were clean didn’t show much movement, although he did see a flicker of a bright orange fin, but nothing more. Looking back at Hatter she wasn’t there. He closed the door and sat on the bed, thinking. Do I live here now? Will I have to work to keep my stay?
Thinking of his usual form of ‘work’ he remembered Hatter’s form, slightly curvaceous, just enough to make his loins flush with excitement. Running a well-manicured hand over cro crotch, his lovely hostess still in his mind he bit back a moan. He glanced at the door, pouting slightly. How unfair to leave a guest unattended. Flopping back onto the cushy red comforter he sighed, loving the luxurious feel that it had, matching the rest of the house in style. He fell asleep.
