Down With The Sickness
A/N: Nope, this story is dead. I just saw Apocalypse, and it totally changed my view. Go to the new story,

-------
Dead. Cold. Alone. Deep honey-brown eyes slowly opened, as she gazed around at her surroundings. The train. She was still there, the cool metal against her back, her body felt frozen, as if she had just been stuck in some freezer, her face covered in sweat. All she could think of was how cold she was. Finally moving her palm around on the floor, careful not to jam it in the pile of metal pipes, she swiped the handgun.
"Fuck..." her smoky, tomboyish voice began, hardly audible.
Rain Ocampo examined the one bullet inside of the glock 21 handgun, and stared at it for a while, before she whipped her head to the side, seeing how the train door was still open. Moaning could be detected as she slowly began to get up, trying not to make a sound. Was she still dead? She didn't feel the hunger for flesh anymore...or the need for the kill. Rain had assumed her eyes were back to their natural brown color, but she couldn't be sure.
Course' she wasn't going to be stupid and yell out 'hello' like any other numb skull would do. Rain took this into careful consideration, knowing when to make her move, she was trained for this. Slowly, she rose to her feet, careful that her black combat boots didn't make any thumping noises, as she slowly crept to the doorway of the train, holding the gun out, aimed, her finger on the trigger, looking to the left slowly, then the right. Spotting the zombie to the right. Stepping out of the train slowly, Rain began to tip toe onto the tracks, heading up into the entrance of the hive.
The one large door had been opened totally. No telling what had gotten out of here.
"Oh God..." she thought to herself. Pushing the thoughts away from her mind she considered shooting the zombie...or better yet...herself. If the world was infected now...how the fuck was she to live? Alice was probably dead. Matt was dead for sure. She knew that for a fact. Everyone had died...then why did she survive? There wasn't some 'higher power' though her mother had always told her she was blessed for something.
Go figure.
Fuck. The zombie had spotted her, by instinct, as the zombie staggered towards, arms outstretched, Rain dropped kicked it in the gut, as it fell back, bleeding ooze and dead blood all over the wall.
"Sick, man." she thought to herself. The zombie slowly began to get up, as it came back for her, having still hardly any speed.
-----
A tall blonde with reddish highlights stood, dressed in a white doctors coat, holding a shotgun in her hand. Alice Parks stared at Raccoon City with her deep blue-green eyes, gawking at what a mess it was. Loading up the shotgun, angry thoughts filled her mind. The mother fuckers had fucked her over. After she had worked for them for years, and was planning to bring them down...she had mapped it out so perfectly....someone had to be the snitch.
And it wasn't Matt's sister. Oh God... Matt... how could she let that happen? The first thing she knew she was fighting for his life, then her own...knocked unconscious, and woke up in some white room...dressed in the tackiest of hospital clothes, if you'd even call it clothes. Holes in her body from taking those wretched needles out.
And Rain... God they had grew to be close. A tear formed in her eye, as she thought of the young woman. A flashback occurred in her mind.
------
::Flash back::
"I don't want to be one of those things...walking around...without a soul." Rain replied, her voice scared, almost tender.
::End of flashback::
----
"I'll stop it... " Alice said out loud, as she began to head forward.
----
To Be Continued.
