Time Out

Author's Note: Sorry if this is a bit rushed, but I'm tired and
need to go to bed soon -_- Plus the plot's a little bit
different than it originally is in the game


Time Out

"Ha ha ha! Citizens of Earth, lend me your ears and listen to
me very cullyully." Doctor Eggman had released his plans
of world domination to the entire planet, and showed an example
of his grandfather's greatest weapon: the Eclipse Cannon. A
large beam headed straight towards the moon. When it reached the moon,
one quarter of it was gone! The entire Earth was in total shock. Then
a countdown appeared, letting the earth know it had 24 hours to
surrender to the Eggman Empire.

Space Colony ARK, a few minutes later:

Eggman pounded his fist on the machine. Rouge The Bat watched
him as he did so. "Why are you so upset?" she asked. Eggman
didn't reply. "Well, that was really impressive," the batgirl
continued, "you managed to create complete havoc on the whole
planet! Does this now mean we control the planet and can do
as we choose?" Shadow The Hedgehog, who was kind of annoyed
by this, suddnely spoke after being quiet for a while. "At
this rate, the cannon will take too much time to charge up."
He looked at Eggman. "If you want to unleash it's full potential,
you'll need all seven Chaos Emeralds." Eggman then looked at Rouge.
"Where...in the WORLD....have you been?!" Rouge, being sarcastic,
asked...."Something happen?" "Our threats fell off deaf ears,"
Shadow said looking away. "Look at you," Rouge said, turning
frggmaggman, but still looking at him, "throwing a tantrum like
a little kid! How totally embarrassing!" She then snickered, but
was kind of surprised when she heard Shadow chuckle a tiny bit.
Eggman recieved a few anime-like stress veins on his head and
turned around.

"Don't forget YOUR end of the bargain, batgirl" he barked, "What
about that last Chaos Emerald? We had a deal, right? So where
is my emerald?" Rouge gave him a newspaper article. "Here you
go. I found this." "Why didn't you show me this BEFORE!?!?!?" Eggma
hollered, and again Shadow chuckled. "This is getting a little
interesting," he said quietly, "watching those two bicker. They'll
make great entertainment when I'm Emperor of the earth." His thoughts
then took another turn: towards his lost friend, Maria. Meanwhile,
Eggman read the article Rouge gave to him: "'Station Square saved
from a life-threatening missile at. Th. The city has awarded its famed
prize to the boy who saved Station Square.'" Then there was anger in
the doctor's voice. "'Miles "Tails" Prower was given a Chaos Emerald as
a testament for his heroic deed during a ceremony held at City Hall.'
UGH!" He cleared his throat.

"This makes things a whole lot easier. Hurry, go back to Earth
and find them fast! I want that Chaos Emerald!" The doctor then
stormed off. Rouge looked at Shadow. "Did you get that?" she asked,
but it seemed that Shadow wasn't paying attention. "Soon enough.....
Maria" was all he said before he walked away from Rouge, not even
looking at her.


Damn. Looks like I'll have to continue this another time. That's
the end of the fic for now, unfortunately. People, I am fucking
TIRED! I need sleep. I'll work on it another time, and you'll
get to see Shadow screw himself, I promise >=)
