Jimmy...

Her voice danced across the void to him, even in sleep. Raynor rolled over, opening his eyes with a disgusted grunt. "Leave me alone woman," The hardened soldier muttered, "Go back to terrorising everyone like a good little girl."

He knew she wouldn't hear him. The Queen of Blades probably wasn't even aware that somewhere, deep inside herself, Sarah Kerrigan was trying to make herself known. She always had been, since that split second when he knew the Zerg had her, that Mengsk's risk hadn't paid off.

Mengsk. That raving ego-maniac. How in hell had he, James Raynor, managed to get wound up in the politicking of the universe? Aose ose out on three occasions...

Fenix...

Groaning, Raynor pulled himself out of bed. It was time to see a woman about a drug...

--

The Queen of Blades watched her underlings scurring about doing her bidding with no small amount of satisfaction. Since she had been sacrificed to the Zerg her one ambition had been ttractract revenge from those who had used her, betrayed her. This was a well known fact. And it was this fact shd usd used to instruct her minions to bring Raynor to her - alive.

Some Cerebrates had questioned this, the danger of bringing him in alive. Kerrigan had dismissed this with a scornful look, and the words, "He betrayed me most of all. Would you deny me the pleasure of him dying by my own hand?" and they backed down.

Killing him wasn't her plan, however. Since that rat Duran had vanished without a trace, she had been... alone. Zerg and their bretheren, even infested Terrans, could not fill the dark void within her soul that yearned for companionship. And then there was the part of her that craved the power of domination, and of sex. No, Kerrigan wasn't bringing Raynor here to kill. She was bringing him to turn.

After all, what greater victory could there be?

--

James Raynor stood in the laboratory and felt himself hunching. He hated labs, especially since the night he'd heard exactly why Kerrigan felt she owed Mengsk a debt.

Damn places aint much better than torture chambers, He thought softly to himself, even as the ghostly words echoed through his head again.

Jimmy... Come to me... Help me!

"I will darlin', I will," He muttered, before facing the lab tech in front of him. "So doc, whats the prognosis?"

The petite blonde in front of Raynor, who had been wondering who the hell he was calling "darlin'", turned to face him, phial in hand. "Its ready."

Raynor wanted to jump for joy. "And you're sure it'll work?"

"No damnit, but I already told you that. I can't guarantee she'll survive."

A sigh escaped her, which was met with a shrug. "So long as I get my five minutes with her, just to put her at peace, i don't care Sal."

Sally-Anne shrugged. "Here. And if my boss discovers I've helped a known traitor and criminal..."

"Tell him its for the benefit of the galaxy Sal. Because that aint that far from the truth."

--

They had him. The words reverbrated through the joined minds of the Zerg, hoping for pleasure from their Queen, or at least a rest from the endless hunt. Kerrigan permitted them neither. He was to be brought alive, and any Zerg found harming him...

The threat had been allowed to hang. It was with no small amount of disgust two Zerglings had "escorted" him to her, and vanished, chittering.

Raynor stayed down on his knees, waiting for Kerrigan to make the first move. He wanted to see which side of her would be drawn first.

It was the Queen of Blades. One of her back spines came about to pelt him across his face - hard.

"Oww darlin'! What you do that for?" He snapped, looking up.

Kerrigan laughed. "Because I could." She smiled wickedly, allowing her eyes to meet his, "And to remind you that I can." The same spine broke around and ripped his bondings. "Do not make me regret doing that Raynor."

"Jimmy... Yah always called me Jimmy, or Jim... Sarah."

She stopped, turning away from him. "There is no Sarah any more... Jim." A pause. "If you can't accept that then I may as well kill you now. You'll always be seeking an ideal that isn't there."

If he hadn't been looking at her, hadn't heard the Zerg inflections in her voice, he would have sworn he was speaking to the old Sarah Kerrigan. And he hadn't misheard the wistfulness. Raynor decided he wasn't going to push his luck. Well, not all of it.

"So why aren't I dead?" He asked her softly, his hands on her arms.

Her spines seemed to sink back into her. "Because I didn't wish it."

"I'm supposed to be greatful?" He replied sharply.

"No," Kerrigan wheeled, "You're supposed to submit," And pounced.

James Raynor was caught in complete surprise. She still tasted human, except for the faint metallic tang of blood in her mouth, which was doing rather wicked things to his. Trying to grasp at his thoughts, Raynor broke away. "What in hells are you doin' woman?"

Kerrigan looked put out. "I'm trying to fuck you, what does it look like?!"

--

He hadn't expected it to be this easy. A token protest, a token fight, and they were naked. And gods, did Kerrigan like to play the Dom. He didn't even object to his hands being tied while she played with him.

And play she did... His nipples were licked, sucked and bitten til he thought they'd bleed, his stomach was teased with the tips of her breasts, half tickling, half seducing, and then, she'd gone to work on his cock. Pretty soon, Raynor realised she wanted him to beg. He'd tried not to laugh at the realisation, after all, he could wait, or so he'd thought. Instead, he'd found himself begging after the third time she'd brought him to the edge and denied him release. Laughing, Kerrigan had freed his hands and responded; "Only after you please me."

She'd laid down on the bed with an expectant look in her alien eyes, and for a moment Raynor was overwhelmed with Xenophobia. That was until her eyes seemed to shift, and the softest whisper danced across his mind.

Jimmy...

Raynor shook himself mentally. If he did this right... With his own wicked grin, he set to work, laving her face with kisses, before working slowly down her neck, his tongue flickering against her skin, half-tease, half-tickle. Kerrigan gasped. Her senses heightened during her transformation, Raynors touches were sparking deep desires, especially in the part of her soul she'd long assumed dead.

"More!"

Smiling against her skin, Raynor obliged, turning his attention to her nipples and repeating her attentions to his, nipping and sucking until she was about to scream, and then he dived lower, licking her stomach, even lower, parting her thighs.

"If I do this wrong you gotta tell me..." He muttered.

"Its still there Jim..." She replied, "I'm modified, thats all..."

As soon as his tongue found her over-sensitive clit, the scream that had been building broke free. Sex had never been like this with anyone, even Duran, and she thrashed on the bed, needing more, needing completion.

"Now, now Jim, NOW!"

He slid up the bed, reaching for her as she reached for him, and in that moment both forgot time, place, situation, and only focused on the sliding of his body with hers as he sheathed himself, groaning.

"God, Sarah..."

The pace quickened as the fires rose, but the dominant in Kerrigan soon rose, flipping the pair over so she could be on top, riding him hard to her own completion, and he followed soon after, cradling the fallen, saited Queen of Blades against his chest.

"Go to sleep. You can kill me in the morning," He whispered to her, and the human parts of her body fell into a doze.

--

Fire.

She was on fire.

Kerrigan's eyes flew open, seeking Raynor. He was asleep next to her, and in his hand...

A needle.

What had he done?

"Its a neurotoxin, Queen of Blades. It'll kill all the Zerg in you." Raynor's eyes had opened in the time she had been staring at his hand. "You see, I wanted my Sarah back." A sigh. "I had some DNA... Gave it to a friend of mine at one of the labs. You're infested. I wanted a way to get rid of the infestation, but its been too long Kerrigan..."

She looked at him then. He was crying. And the voices of the Zerg in her mind were fading.

"Jimmy... They'll kill you."

"Won't have chance." He held up a cyanide pill. "I'm gonna hold you Sarah... And then I'm coming with you."

"Why?"

He laughed, a harsh sound in a fading world. "Because I love you."
