A time after Navi

Note: Saria and Link pairing. This is in response of too many stories that don't include Saria. I don't own the characters. Please don't say too many bad things to me!

This happens after "Ocarina of Time", just as the other happens before. Read up on my other story about Kokiri culture. You don't really need to read it to understand what happens here, but I dive into their sexual customs in that story. I live on reviews!

Link looked at Zelda and felt nothing. Even as he can feel her want of him, Link could never return it. The silence was soon broken, but not by either of them. It was Navi and she sounded sad.

"Link, I must go." said the fairy.

"I'll be ready soon, Navi. Then we can go."

"No, Link, you misunderstand. I must go."

Link understood, but he was shocked.

"Why?" He asked with wide eyes.

"The Duku Tree calls for me and you are not Kokiri. I am sorry, but the time has come where we must part. Goodbye, my friend and my love..." She said between tears. Navi wiped one away and flew off. Link didn't know, but he will never see her again.

Link took out the Kokiri Sword and shank it deep into the ground where he stood. After a few minutes he turn back to look at Zelda with a tear stain face.

"Oh, Link!" said Zelda. She herself holding back her own tears. "How unfair this all is for you.

"Link, I was training for this for a long time but you, you never really wanted any of this, did you?"

The look on his face answered her. It was a sad face and Link didn't hold back the tears either. He was, up until a short time ago, Kokiri. He thought he knew what he was, but now he was the 'Hero of Time' and still didn't know what it means for him. He wished he could turn back time, to become ri ari again and for things to go back to the way they were.

Zelda knew from his travels that Link had three other girls in his life and only one held his heart, Saria. Zelda walked up to Link and smiled at him.

"Go. The Forest Temple calls for you." she said in a soft voice.

Link was taken back by this.

"Nobody can tell you that you are not Kokiri, Link. I can see your heart belongs there and to another. It doesn't matter if you were not born there but were you heart is. Remember Link, you are the "Hero of Time" and you shouldn't waste any of it. I will be here, if and when you need me."

Link didn't know what to say. He look to where the garden entrance was and started walking. Soon, he broke out into a run and left Zelda behind. Zelda smiled sadly as he left.

Soon he was at the Forest Temple. Link didn't know how much time had pass when he had left the castle, nor did he care. He pulled out the Ocarna that Saria once gave him and started to play Saria's Song...

'Link? What is the matter?' answer the girl still inside the temple.

'Nothing, I came to see you. I am outside the temple.'

Saria appeared minutes later and smiled at Link. He quickly climb up to meet her. He look deep into her deep green eyes, she looked into his deep blue eyes, and they didn't need to say a thing. They held hands as they walked into the temple. It was bigger than Link remembered as they walk in silence all around inside and outside of it.

Saria then lead them to a place Link knew all too well. This is where he fought a fake Gannondorf. It was different however. On the platform, there was a bed and a dresser close by. The bed was bigger than his old bed and the dresser was a stander Kokiri dresser.

Link turn to Saria and she smiled. She moved quickly to the bed and sat down. Link took off his belt and backpack, and join Saria beside her. He reached up to touch her face and she didn't stop him. Link lean in and kissed her gently on the lips. Again, she didn't stop him.

Link's hand started to move down Saria's neck and down her shoulder. Down her side and around to her back. Again, Saria made no move to stop

Wrapping both arms around Saria and breaking the kiss, Link began to cry on Saria's shoulder. She wrapped her arms around him too and she of course, made no move to stop him.

An hour later they were both asleep in each others arms...

It was the best night sleep Link had in some time wok woke to find Saria gone, but he heard foot steps coming up the stairwell and he knew it was Saria. As she came into view, he could smell it: Mushroom Soup Surprise!

Saria had brought two bowls for them to eat.

"I knew you might be hungry." said Saria with a smile.

"So you made Mushroom Soup Surprise? Thank you." Link said as the soup was handed to him but before he started eating, he striped down to his shorts to get cooler. He noted that Saria was wearing a large white shirt.

As soon as they were done eating, they put the bowls away and they cuddled up in the middle of the bed. Link wanted to stay with her forever...

"Link, I love you but you must know some things and do something for me, if you are to stay." Her voice was heavy and told Link to answer quickly.

"Go ahead, Saria."

"We will never have children and I may have only another ten years on the earth." Saria quickly braced herself for rejection. It never came...

"I understand. What is it that you want me to do?"

"The day I die, I want you to go to Zelda for confort." Link stared at Saria like she had gone mad. Saria reach up to his face and cupped it in her hand. "If you are to waste your time on me, I want to choose who comes next."

"You forget; I'm the Hero of Time. I could n was waste my time..." with that, Link pulled Saria up with his right arm and kissed her. Link's left hand soon found she wore nothing under the large white shirt. Even if Saria herself was 15, she had the body of a 10-year-old. Link sighed. His tears spent, he knew what to do. Link must find the next Forest Sage as soon as possible, but first he must see Zelda like Saria ask of him.

It took most of the day, but he made it before the day was out. Link enter the garden and saw Zelda standing where she was when he first saw. Sh. Shs wes wearing a nightgown that was almost see-through. In fact, Link could tell she had nothing on under it. Stealth forgotten, he walked up to her. Zelda turn slowly and Link noted she was not surprise to see him, nor did she try to cover up. They meet at the center of the garden, kissed and made love right there.

Link spent the next month at the castle and Zelda came with child...

"It was our first night together, love." said Zelda as she explain when it happen. Link smiled, he loved her just as much as he had love Saria.

"Then I will marry you! I love you so..." And they did! A week later, Link set out to search for the Forest Sage and promise to be back before she gave birth to their first born.

He kept his word to the letter. Even without finding the Forest Sage, Link return to watch the birth of his child. It was a long night, but before long a beautiful baby girl cried out into the world.

Link look at his child and saw that she had deep green eyes. He realize that his little girl is the Forest Sage and they name her, Saria.

Link had many other adventures and defeated many foes, but that is another story...
